I have been longing to come here based on reviews. It was a friend's birthday and so I took the opportunity to visit. The food did not disappoint! I cannot wait to go back to try something else! The service was pretty good, very friendly and accommodating waiter. He gave us samples of the sangria to try before we decided which one to order, that was really nice! His suggestions were also welcomed. The prices here are good for the portions which are actually shareable. I would suggest sharing a starter, entree, and dessert here, especially if you do not eat a lot it definitely worth it. Looking forward to coming back here again. I was not keen on the outdoor seating as its very close to the road and cars are going by all the time. The tables inside are a little close for comfort me me but might work for others... put this on your list of places to try. read more

A must try kind of place. It's a bit off the beaten path and if you go during peak hours, expect a long wait but it will be worth it. I stopped in here after the beach one afternoon recently. It was around 3:30pm and the place was pretty quiet. I quickly ordered some of their famous fried oysters from the appetizer menu to go. The manager kindly offered to get me a drink while i waited. The light ale he recommended was perfect after being in the hot sun. The place is simple, the menu is a great read. It's not your average seafood place. Expect yo be wowed with every bite. I grew up in the Boston area and I've been eating oysters since I was a toddler. It's hard to impress me with oysters. These were incredibly rich and yet not gritty or too heavy. The panko breading brought a new twist on an old favorite. I tasted a hit of spice followed up by a sweet undertone. The greens, melon and grapes were a surprisingly awesome addition to the plate. I kept dipping the fruit and lettuce on one dressing and then the other. It was heavenly and definitly not overrated. Yes, their prices are a bit high but you are not getting mundane food here. The sweet potato crusted grouper was recommended by the waitress and it was good but not excellent. The crust was somewhat soggy but did have nice flavor. The value just wasn't there; seemed overpriced for a grouper dish but they can probably get it in this area in Florida. I was traveling for business and dining solo. read more

Back in my hometown of Jupiter, Florida for a few days and have had EVERY dining out experience at Leftovers Cafe. Why take a chance and go elsewhere when you have PERFECTION! We met different friends for lunch or dinner. Every meal was spectacular! Not only is the seafood fresh and amazing...so is the vibe..,so is the service! Every day there is a new menu. It's a locals' place that visitors find out about and return to again and again. The restaurant owner has always given back in so many ways that I have been fortunate to support. We are lucky to have fantastic restaurants in the Jupiter area but for more than twenty years the Food Shack and later Leftovers remain at the top of my list! Well done! P.S. I have no idea why some people rank this place so high. My fried oysters at $29 sucked. Buds taste better at a third the price. The oysters were served on top of a greasy salad that tasted nasty. I felt totally ripped off. My wife fared the same. Her fish sandwich was tasteless and the fish looked gray. She couldn't eat it. How pretentious to serve rotten $20 fish sandwiches when a McDonald's fillet of fish sandwich tastes a million times better. We went here fooled by stupid reviewers who apparently know no better. This emperor has no clothes, crappy food horribly overpriced. Service sucked as well. Zero atmosphere. Stay away. read more
