Went on a Monday while vacationing in Palm Beach Shores. Excellent selection of fresh fish along with a wide variety of choices on Menu. We got the sweet potato crusted salmon and sweet potato crusted tilefish, both come over a bed of greens. My tilefish was superb and my wife's salmon was also excellent. Large fillets and very fresh. We finished up with a raspberry key lime desert that was also great. Staff was excellent although very busy for a Monday evening. Sorry I can only give it 5 stars, it deserves better!! read more

I have to say it pains me not to give a 5 star review to The Leftovers Cafe - it was a 99.9% wonderful experience. However I would be remiss not to address how rude the hostess was to us (I did not catch her name.) We walked in around 1p on Saturday of Labor Day Weekend. They were busy but there was not a waitlist. We were greeted kindly and asked if we preferred inside or outside. (We we're with my 76 year old mother in law and it's 94 degrees outside.) We said inside please - she said oh that's not available and her tone quickly changed. We asked how long and she said at least 20 mins so we said ok outside. Well we walked past at least 6 if not 8 empty seats at the bar facing the kitchen - we said can we not sit there? She reluctantly said yes. We sat for at least 10 mins and no one came to greet us or take our drink order. And there were now 2 empty inside tables - One for 4 and one for a 2. I went back to the hostess and asked if we could have the table for 4. She quickly said she would need to ask her manager as they were getting busy. (See picture of the near empty restaurant below.) I was kind but said well we have been sitting and no one has come to take our drink order perhaps if we were at a table we could get service? She quickly took us over and sat us. THEN things turned around ... our server Kim R was so nice and helpful. The food was incredible. We got watermelon sangria, fried oysters, conch fritters, sweet potato crusted yellowtail, the seafood bowl, the fish wrap with yellowtail and carrot cake for dessert. Everything was incredible. Other than the unfortunate encounter with the hostess this would have been 10 star review. Highly recommend!! read more

This place never fails to exceed my expectations with its food and service. The tuna basil roll, sweet potato crusted fish, and stoners delight are our go-to choices. All of them are delicious!! On the off-chance that we try something else, it is always really yummy as well -- like the Indoroni and Korean style brussel sprouts. Additionally, as locals, we see the same bright eyed waiters and waitresses each time we go. Their great attitudes contribute to the amazing local flavor and excitement of the restaurant. After all these years it's still one of my all time favorite places in Jupiter! Always a wait but it's so worth it. My favorite item is the sweet potato crusted fish (today I had corvina) on a bed of vegetables/salad, it's always so amazing delicious! I always get the tropical ice tea (such a good flavor, it's unsweet). Fries are always yummy!! Their fish wrap is always good and the grown up mac and cheese is to die for!!!!!! Love Leftovers Cafe! It gets crowded so go early. Pick your toppings for your fish or chicken. I always get the yam crusted chicken with a Greek salad. It's always so good. Fish is fresh. This is a "sister" restaurant to the Food Shack, a well established eatery with a strong following. It has a nice , relaxed vibe and a menu heavily seafood oriented. Everything is fresh and well prepared. My biggest problem was that it was difficult to choose a dish that didn't contain cayenne, red pepper flakes or other spicy seasoning. Talk about just a really great restaurant. The Tim Duncan of dining experiences, so fundamentally sound. Food so good my grandmother (with strong opinions mind you) insisted we go back within the same week. I had the main vegetable bowl which had a fantastic portion and flavor for the price. Maybe I haven't been eating enough vegetables but the idea to use coconut as the foundational flavor was spectacular. Excellent service to the point where our needs were consistently met and over delivered. Floor plan that may originally seem less spacious is perfectly placed to where people can easily traverse in between tables. Overall a fantastic place to bring company! It came with about 4oz of mahi, two shrimp, and one scallop. Not sure if this is the typical portion size but for $21 I was a bit disappointed. The quality, however, was not disappointing. Everything was well cooked and the salad beneath was really nice too. My friend got some kind of fish taco which she liked, plus her plantains were amaaaaazing. I stole quite a few. What an amazing little spot! I came to Leftovers for dinner last night and had one of the best meals I've had in a long time. This place is covered in Florida-themed art and is relatively small and intimate. We sat outside, where they had fans to cool you off so you don't melt in this dang heat. They don't have any cocktails, but they DO have a great beer menu (I highly recommend the blood orange Belgian). For our appetizer we shared the fried Brussels sprouts - you can pick from Leftover Style or Korean BBQ style, but we went with leftover, which comes with roasted peppers, Gorgonzola, Parmesan, and red onion and is tossed in a lemon basil sauce. They were perfectly charred and super tasty! For our entrees, my boyfriend had the Jupiter's Famous Indorini - adult Mac n cheese with chicken, red onion, garlic, Parmesan, and house made sriracha chili cheese sauce. Good LORD was this amazing!! I had the flounder, crusted with boniato, jalapeño, and Gorgonzola and served over romaine Caesar. The fish was delicious, and if this crust doesn't sound like your cup of tea (I enjoyed the heck out of it), they have a variety of options to choose from! I will say, they don't call this place Leftovers for nothing! We took at least half, if not more, of our meals home and I am presently eating the rest of my flounder as I am typing this (yes, it's as good leftover!) Both locations are 5+ stars I really enjoyed the service at this location, they were on point the gentleman who took care of us, gave my friend suggestions since it was his 1st time. (My friend loved it too). Great follow up asking how was the food, if we need anything else. Very attentive and detailed services. Even one of the managers came and picked up our plates and offer dessert. Oh My!! The Coconut Tres Leches it's addictive, you just want to keep going! Nex time I will take one to go! The Seafood Bowl was amazing, it had the flavor, big chucks of fish meat, calamari, shrimp, mussels and veggies! Home run! : I wish it had a little more broth but the bowl couldn't hold anymore ! Leftovers is always good, as is attested by the waiting lines on most evenings. Call ahead to get on line before you arrive. They give you a big piece of fish and the prep is always consistent. And, they cook it the healthy way and give you lots of greens with it, all very fresh. There's nothing"leftover" about the food. While out to dinner at another restaurant in Jupiter my friend and I were told that this was a favorite restaurant of a woman sitting next to us at the bar. My friend suggested we try it. We end up going there the next day for my birthday. My incredibly sweet friend arrives with beautiful flowers and a birthday balloon, which was so thoughtful and special. Our server was so kind and welcoming which already added to the experience. We started off with the incredible crab cheese dip which was served with homemade tortilla chips. The dip was delicious, gooey and cheesy and lots of flavor. Definitely a must try item. I am not a fish eater, but, apparently they are known for their fresh fish and particularly the sweet potato crust. They do offer the sweet potato crust on chicken or portobello mushrooms too so I may try it next time. I love blackened chicken so I went with the blackened chicken in a wrap with Swiss cheese and bacon. The chicken was perfectly cooked, and just the right amount of seasoning. The sambal mayo was so good with it. As my side I ordered sweet potato fries which were nice and crispy. Everyone who knows me knows I LOVE pickles and the pickles here are homemade and SO good!!! I loved them and wish they had them to buy! We both were full but had to try dessert and we ordered the raspberry key lime bar to share. They brought out the pie with a candle which was so sweet. This was an amazing key lime pie, the raspberry layer added a refreshing flavor and it was served with an amazing homemade whipped cream. I was so impressed with the food and service here.
