Dr. Lisa Fletcher at the Blue Springs Office has been my pediatrician for about 2 years. I haven't had a complaint until now with my newborn. I know their vaccine policy, but due to religious beliefs, there is one vaccine I refuse to give to my children. I came to the vaccine appointment after speaking with the front desk about it and they said to talk to Dr. Fletcher about it at my appointment because it's not that big of a deal. I went in and upfront said I understand their vaccine policy at the office and understand if we can no longer be patients, but there is only one vaccine I cannot give due to religious grounds. Instead of professionally explaining to me their policy and letting me know they can no longer serve my family, Dr. Fletcher completely berated and belittled me about how she was a better advocate for my children than I am and that I must be okay with dead children. After this I tried to calmly explain my beliefs were religious and again understand if they can no longer serve my family and she continued to disrespect me and tell me how unethical my religious beliefs were. All of this in front of both of my children. I couldn't believe the unprofessionalism and audacity to spit on my religious beliefs when a simple "we can no longer serve you" would have sufficed. We immediately left the office and called to make a new appointment with a new pediatrician so the certified official letter they sent the next day ejecting my children from their practice really wasn't needed. read more

The doctor pushed vaccines and didn't respect my wishes as a parent. Also she said he had a condition with his eyes and didn't explain anything about it. I called the office and the nurse gave me the term she diagnosed him with and told me to look it up. Overall my experience was horrible and won't return. I hope you find a good doctor, they are hard to find. read more

If it was possible to leave a zero star review, I would. We had no problems at first with the company but then we were charged extremely high fees for the visits when we have insurance. Dealing with the office they were not upfront and gave false confidence everything was covered. Four months later, we get our first bill with the high rates. When dealing with their billing office, they were disrespectful and rude. Including their manager, Julie, who did not even try give us assistance. I would not recommend taking anyone to this office, especially your newborn or child. read more

I really like this doctors office. I like the fact that they offer weekend urgent care hours as well as urgent care hours almost all day long M-F. Whenever my children need lab work or blood tests done it is so convenient to have them done right there in the doctors office. Everyone from the nurses to the doctors have wonderful and really seem to take the time to listen to you. Unless you make an appointment several weeks out don't expect to see a specific doctor; we have only seen our actual pediatrician a handful of times in the last 12 years. I have been to all 3 of their locations but I really feel like I could take my children to any of them and they would receive the same great care. read more

We've been here a few times since 2020 and both times we saw different doctors. The front desk staff was always kind. One doctor was informative but super impatient and couldn't wait to get us out of his room. The other doctor was extremely rude and impersonal and so was his nurse. He started his exam and then stepped out in the middle of it to take a phone call where we waited 20 minutes for him to return and then act dismissive and bothered by our concerns for our son. Here it is My Lees Summit People - I have been seeing Dr. Barnard for four years now and I refuse to deal with him or his nursing staff any longer. Not another ounce of my time shall they WASTE. I can not believe the amount of issues I have had with a few of the people in his circle and under his direction. If you want to constantly have your prescriptions screwed up between the type you are supposed to be taking getting mixed up in there system or the approval for refill drama every time it is due, call them. They will blame it on Walgreens or CVS and take Zero accountability. If you want to have a Dr. who is Extremely rehearsed in his lines during his record time of 3 minute per each visit and unprofessional as it gets, call these people, if you want to call and talk to a real person on an important question and get automated voicemail with no return phone calls for 3 days or longer or as of today none at all over 2 weeks, call these people. If you want a Dr. who stops your prescriptions out of nowhere because he hasn't seen you in a year, "and not your fault by the way", call these people. I'm just saying, My Dentist sets 6 month return visit or follow up appointment to check on me,where is this service in Lees Summit. You leave Dr. Barnards office and ask if you need a retrun appointment, they will say no to your face and pull your script on your last pill and have you trying to mayday from work to get it right,while talking to voicemail. Not another Ounce of my time or my Money! Do not say I didn't tell you so Lees Summit People and I bet I am not alone in my frustration with this Dr./Dr.'s Staff and Services they provide. We have had used these pediatricians with this group from infancy to adulthood (which we stayed with the group and moved to the internal medicine side). They were always attentive and listened to my concerns as a mother. Every pediatrician we saw was great. Usually we tried to always schedule with our primary pediatrician which sometimes took some time but we always were able to get in. read more

An associate of mine has been totally mistreated by Dr. Dean at your Blue Springs location, who apparently has no idea about exclusively breastfed babies. She called CPS on her for not giving her baby formula even though the baby is gaining a ounce everyday! Doctors should not be dictators, but understanding helpful and creative when dealing with patients. I'm noticing a trend in Missouri with these dictator type doctors calling CPS on women of color, and we will not stand for it! read more

I couldn't be happier that I chose this group and Dr. Gershon for my son. The front desk is always nice and quick, the nurse is amazing with my son, the phone nurse is quick to get back when I've left a message, they also have called to check on me and my son after our appts, and Dr Gershon is awesome he's very knowledgeable and makes sure your questions are answered, he doesn't rush you out! read more

Your phone receptionists are so rude it just makes no sense. While we love our doctor for our children it's just unacceptable and stressful trying to make an appointment or call with an appointment question.The wait times to schedule an appointment have been out of control all year literally all year. It's a nightmare calling and waiting 45 minutes almost every single time then someone gets on the phone and always has an attitude and is rude. We didn't ask you to work that job so if you don't like answering appointment questions or having to schedule quit! As patients or parents with patients that help keep your office open we do not deserve to be treated like garbage for simply needing a doctors appointment! I'm quite frankly tired of it enough when I have my baby I may look into changing offices for all 5 of my kids just because of the snottiness of your ladies answering the phones! Today I called LSPG and tried to make an appoint with Dr, Robb for my son, I asked if she was taking new patients and the very first thing I was asked was and I quote ( well what kind of insurance do you have) when I said I was a patient at this office for years and I hate that that is the first comment out of your mouth, she hung up on me. I asked myself, is this the kind of medical firm that I want to subject my son to, where they are not interested in knowing what is wrong and how can they help, oh no it is can you afford us first and then what is your problem. This doctors office is trash. Unorganized, I can never get my prescription refilled when the pharmacy says it needs to be approved by the doctor. I call, leave messages never get a response back. I have prescriptions that I take on a daily basis not as a want but a need. You would think with COVID-19 going on they would just refill it. But they wont. This isn't the first or the second time I've had this problem with this doctors office. I will be looking for a new doctors office. This should not be a reoccurring issue for somebody whos been on it for multiple years. read more

I have three children and a longtime relationship over a period of 14 years with this group of physicians. I lost my job this year and instead of working with me on payments they terminated "our relationship" over a whopping $99. I am appalled and furious. I absolutely would not recommend this office to anyone I know. read more
