But to have it in my neighborhood is pretty sweet. It's definitely above the average chinese greasy buffet places, and really was satisfying. I ordered the plate with 2 sides and so did my significant other. There was so much food for the two of us! It was actually my first time at this location and I was pleasantly surprised how good it was. I had the orange chicken, honey walnut shrimp and ginger beef to share with chowmein and veggies. Every dish tasted delicious and was surprisingly fresh. No stateless noted. I even had to wait a few minutes but at least I got some fresh off the grill orange chicken! It was worth the wait. I loved it and it had the perfect amount of sweetness. The shrimp aas my favourite and its definitely worth the extra price! I ran into a friend on my visit and he said they always run out of orange chicken here and that it is always fresh! Service was great. Fast and quick. The fortune cookies were a nice touch too! I'll have to come visit more often as I was so impressed!

Speed is key when you have a hungry toddler. And there was great, simple but tasty options for my little ones too! His favourite were the rice and the noodles. We tried a variety of chicken, beef and shrimp, by far the walnut shrimp was a favourite. Also found the flavour of the orange chicken delightful. We had to get the closest thing to ginger beef and found it only alright. Spring rolls equally tasty but I thought a bit pricey to add on. We did get the family meal where you choose 3 standard priced options and also get the noodles and rice sides, was a great option for our family to enjoy a variety and have plenty of leftovers. Overall I would definitely go here and order to bring it back home again!

Service was fast and friendly. I ordered their beef satay spicy soup and we shared green onion cakes and veggie spring rolls. My friend had the beef vermicelli bowl. Loved the beef satay soup!! Cannot say enough about how delicious it was. Green onion cakes also a massive hit. The spring rolls weren't our thing. Also really great presentation on their food. This is a nice big location and it's bright with ample parking. Cozy atmosphere.

It's also generally quiet enough to have a nice conversation, if you're a talker like me. The service was quick and friendly, and they were very good at reccomending dishes! We found this particularly helpful for choosing what meat/protein to put in our meals, and we all agreed that they knew what was best. As for the food, it was the most absolutely wonderful and authentic Thai I have ever had. Every dish was flavourful, fairly priced, and came in a huge portion! We have never gotten a single bad thing there (and we experiment often), and we have never left without takeout containers full to the brim. The leftovers are always amazing, too. I could go on and on about how much I love this restaurant, truly. What a lovely place to dine in St Albert that I wish I had discovered so much sooner! If you're interested in what to try, my favourites are the Pad Thai with chicken, or the Pad See Eiw with chicken or tofu. I'm not a beef lover, but they make it quite well there I will say. The curries are quite good but some of them get fairly spicy, at least for me. The peanut curry is definitely my favourite! As for appetizers, they have these excellent deep-fried crab and cream cheese dumplings that I can never get enough of! Be aware though, there are lots of peanuts used in recipes, so be careful if you have an allergy.

Tried this place twice about a month apart, the food is great but there's inconsistent portions and service can a bit slow as it's a mom & pop restaurant. Seating arrangements are ok but can definitely could use a deep clean/upgrade - old time hole in the wall look, feel & vibe. During our latest visit, the restaurant opened up a few minutes late as owners were running a bit late. Service was slower as there was only one person attending 6+ tables that came in about the same time. The food tasted great but again was inconsistent with portions & plating. We both ordered the same Pad Thai Tom yum at the same time & one plate completely was missing mushrooms & lacked bean sprouts while the other had an abundance. The rice curry dishes are good but could use a much bigger portion of rice.

We chose spicy tuna rolls, mixed tempura, spring rolls, fried rice, and california rolls. Service was good, but it took a while for the food to come out of the kitchen. It seemed again to be pretty quiet, so i encourage people to try it because it definately is a business that deserves to be there. Food was delicious and plentiful. For sure the star runner was the spicy tuna rolls. So delicious and flavourful! I would order this again. Mixed tempura was tasty and the batter was amazing. Spring rolls were good but on par with other places. Fried rice and the california rolls were flavourful as well. Try it!
