Things started off really well with Sharon, the owner. I called early in the morning to order a birthday bouquet. I expressed how particular I am about flowers and we both agreed that 1-800 Flowers can very often leave much to be desired, so ordering directly from a local florist is the best route. I described the size I envisioned and provided my budget. Sharon said another employee, Jen, would call me to get the personalized message for the birthday girl. I asked that a photo be taken of the final product so I could see the arrangement BEFORE being delivered. The bouquet was delivered in a timely fashion (a plus), however, the photo I received via text was sent AFTER the drop off. Needless to say, when I saw it, I was mortified. The arrangement was lackluster and had flowers that I could have pulled out from my own backyard! When I spoke to Sharon over the phone and expressed my displeasure, she became loud and rude, constantly speaking over me and cutting me off; stating how she couldn't understand why I didn't like it and it had already been delivered. I responded that as the customer, I should be happy with my purchase but I was not. I also brought to their attention that the birthday girl had gotten a voicemail from the florist about the arrangement. The call placed to her SHOULD have been placed to me. Unfortunately, spoiling the floral surprise. I am extremely disappointed and upset. I will never order from Lee's Florist; their arrangements are mediocre and customer's aren't permitted to voice their discontentment. read more

The flowers and photo we selected online was roses only and we made sure to confirm the special instructions of roses only. What gets delivered? Horrible, DO NOT USE. We paid for roses and hydrangeas arrangement and they received carnations and daisys with about 2 roses. Unbelievable. Never wasting money here. Editing my review after speaking to them: On tops of them arranging flowers incorrectly and sending a bouquet we did not pick, when called to ask if anything could be done, they offered ( very very rudely) to pick up the flowers from the recipient ( who by way is recovering from surgery ) and get my money back. No that is absolutely unacceptable. You pay for roses and Hydrangeas and you get whatever they send. I guess that's their policy. RUDE - and you will not get what you pay for. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would! I ordered centerpieces for my daughters baby shower from Lee's, they were so beautiful that they were the talk of the party! I've never seen a room full of people move so quickly when I told them all That if there was a penny taped under their seat they could take home the centerpiece!!! They were stunning, I will attach a picture. I would recommend Lee's all day every day for your floral needs. P.S. they even threw in a pretty corsage for my daughters wrist! Do not use this florist. Ordered flowers for a funeral in Kearny the day before the wake and Funeral. I advise the woman who took the order that the wake was from 830 am to 10.00am the next morning. I asked that the flowers be delivered that night and was told that they would be . I was also advised that if the funeral home would not accept the flowers the night before that they would definitely be delivered before 8am the morning of the wake and Funeral. When we arrived at nine to the wake our flowers were not there. The funeral home director said that no flowers were delivered the night before or that morning . It took untill 10.20 am for the florist to answer the phone . The florist told me that their computers were down and they were not able to fill our order and they don't use cell phones and had no record of my phone number and do not answer their phone when no one is in the shop. Great customer service! They had no paper copies apparently and no record of our phone number? However they were able to get the credit card information from the computer some how and put the charge through the day I called! The funeral director reached out to Lee's and arranged for the flowers to be delivered after the burial at the funeral home so the family had to stop to pick them up! I did not get an apology just excuses. Do not use them. I have since heard they have messed up a lot however the owner brags about their 5 star rating. It's time someone write the truth about Lee's. read more

I ordered a very specific arrangement for my mother's funeral which was pictured on their website. What I received was a different and much smaller, skimpy arrangement than what was in the picture, yet I was never told they would not be able to make the arrangement as shown in their picture. In addition, I was charged the full price for the arrangement of the picture shown on their website without any discount for the much smaller, skimpy arrangement. read more

I live in KY and placed an internet order on the same day I needed flowers to be delivered in NJ to my Mother-in-law for her birthday. I received a call saying that the main flower in the arrangement I ordered wasn't available and was given another option and was assured that the arrangement would be beautiful and have the same contemporary feel I was looking for. The arrangement was delivered promptly and my my Mother-in-law said it was beautiful. I've used Lee's Florist for a few occasions, and have been very pleased each time! I recently worked with Sharon to do about 18 centerpieces for a party, and they were perfect! I phoned to place an order, and Oscar was so rude that I just hung up. Called another local florist, and placed my $100.00 order with them. I will never use them again--not sure what happened to the nice woman who used to take my orders. I am a school teacher, and I get enough attitude in the classroom. Manager is Crazy!!! They call you and tell you they will deliver birthday flowers in half an hour. Never show up!! Call them for over an hour and they don't answer phone. Finally when you get thru, the manager yells at you telling you she is too busy. Again told flowers will be delivered. Well its been over 24 hours and no flowers. This is one business that should close up. Floral arrangements are poor, when you do receive. Stay clear of this florist. Many other good, reputable florists in area, no reason to use Lee's Florist. read more

This is the only place to go to. You will never be disappointed and every flower is fresh. They know what goes together and never skimp. I've been to million dollar affairs and nothing compared to the arrangements at this florist. All of the locals use Lee's and when you go to a wake you can point out which are their pieces because its top quality. read more

The owner is rude and disrespectful and instead of trying to make up for getting my order completely wrong she started yelling at me and blaming it on everyone else. i live florida, and placed an order over the phone, to be placed at my mom's grave for mother's day. when i received the text with the pic of the flowers at her grave, it put tears in my eyes. what a beautiful job they did, I know my mom loves them and so do i.
