Class VI - Personal demand items (such as health and hygiene products, soaps and toothpaste, writing material, snack food, beverages, cigarettes, batteries, alcohol, and cameras--nonmilitary sales items). Class VI happens to be the one that alcohol falls in and so the "package store" became known as the Class VI Store. Shopettes are typically where you can get some smaller items when you can't get to the Exchange. Same items and same prices. It's more like a 7 Eleven+. The hours are always longer so you can pick up some things to get you by. This Shopette has a decent stock of food/snacks and personal items. This is also the gas station with prices cheaper than off-base.
