AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial - New car

AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial

I've sold 2 vehicles here and attempted to purchase a truck. The selling experience Overall was…read moregood as they offered a competitive price for my vehicles which beat other dealer offers. I got a tentative offer prior to coming in on both which 1 sold at that price but the other went down $500 when I got there citing a minor accident on the report which they new about prior to coming in as they ran the carfax report to make the tentative offer. However, we talked them up a bit and they threw in a tank of gas for our current vehicle. The buying experience didn't go as well for 2 reasons 1) very low inventory so not much to pick from 2) the truck I did find had dealer add-ons such as running boards, paint protection and nitro in the tires(?). They wouldn't move on removing these items so that ended the deal for me. My understanding is this dealer try's to work with folks with any income level to get you the vehicle you need. Didn't work out for my but maybe you'll have better luck. 3 stars is the best and worst I can give.

I would give AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial in Orlando zero stars if I could…read more I purchased a 2016 Jeep Wrangler from this dealership because it was advertised and sold as an AutoNation Certified vehicle with a 90-day/4,000-mile Certified warranty. I also purchased AutoNation's extended warranty because I believed AutoNation stood behind the vehicles it sells. Almost immediately after buying the Jeep, it began having intermittent starting issues. We mentioned concerns about how it drove, but we were assured everything was fine. Then, only about a month after purchase, the Jeep completely lost all electrical power while I was driving, leaving me stranded in the middle of the road at night. It had to be towed. The diagnosis was that the Jeep's primary control module (the vehicle's computer or "brain") had failed. This wasn't a flat tire or normal maintenance item--it was a major electrical failure on a vehicle that had just been sold as "Certified." What disappointed me even more was the response from the selling dealership. When I called AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial hoping they would stand behind the vehicle they had certified, I was essentially told they weren't going to do anything and wished "good luck." What's the point of paying extra for a Certified vehicle if the dealer refuses to take responsibility when a serious problem appears almost immediately after the sale? I expected AutoNation to stand behind its Certified program. Instead, I was left stranded, bounced between dealerships, dealing with delays, confusion over warranty coverage, and a complete lack of concern from the dealership that sold me the vehicle. I hope AutoNation Corporate steps in and makes this right, because my experience with AutoNation Chevrolet West Colonial has completely destroyed my confidence in both the dealership and the AutoNation Certified program.

I've reviewed this dealership before, and honestly, I'm surprised I keep coming back. The only…read morereason I've continued is because I purchased my vehicle here, and I expect them to stand behind it. But after this latest experience, I'll be taking my business elsewhere. I brought my vehicle in for a window repair and also asked them to evaluate some body/paint damage that I believed should be covered. Instead of a straightforward answer, I was offered a "goodwill" warranty with a deductible of around $5,000. When I questioned the cost, I was asked, "Well, how much can you afford?"--as if this was some kind of negotiation. That was a red flag. They kept my vehicle for four days just to fix the window, which felt excessive. I declined the "goodwill" offer and did my own research, ultimately finding documentation that suggests Jeep was aware of the issue and that it should be covered. Since then, I've been trying to reach someone in leadership at the dealership for over a week. No response ... I'll update this review if I ever hear back from someone who's actually interested in resolving the issue, not just selling me something.

Tony Hamdan, was hands down the best sales person I've ever worked with. The experience was smooth. I came in with no plan on a Friday, with no clue of what vehicle I could qualify for. Even with doubts, Tony constantly reassured me that I was g to get out of my current vehicle into a BRAND NEW KIA!!! I was approved for a 2026-K4 with beautiful Red Interior! Despite all the challenges we were faced with Tony was persistent, kept an amazing Attitude, and also stopped at nothing to negotiate with management to get me in a BRAND NEWWWW KIAAA!!!
