Stopped by for the launch party today for the Edgewater location!…read more Location is super convenient (in the Trader's Joe strip mall, diagonally opposite TJ's on the other side of the parking lot) which I think fixes the parking issue their fort lee location sort of had sometimes, and it is on the second floor overlooking the Manhattan view right across- talk about good vibes! We spoke to the owner instructor Zeni, and her positive, warm yet determined energy was very appealing to us. We already attend yoga once a week at another studio but we're looking to add another routine during the week close by, and Pure Bliss Yoga definitely fits the bill! She said they're on ClassPass though capacity on the platform is rather limited - but she said she'll work on that. There were dozen plus yoga instructors there to celebrate and some 30-40 people joined in a blessing ceremony wearing white and yellow for good luck, and we enjoyed some good horderves. We will certainly be seeing you soon Zeni! Congratulations on opening!

I've never been in a warmer more inviting space than this studio. Everything from the smells, inspiring quotes, and vibe in the space beckons me to class here. Celeste and co have really built something special here. It's a place where I've rehabbed from injury, sickness, and sadness. It's a place where I can walk out of feeling happy and free. And most of all, it's a place where I feel that I matter and belong and no matter what my practice looks like that day, I feel good about myself. Thank you for building something so special here.

I had been looking for a place where I could learn yoga and also make some good use of my time. I consider myself blessed for coming across this amazing yoga studio. I have been coming here for the past two years and could not be more thankful to my beautiful instructor Carol Berlin. Her patients, love, help, passion and devotion to her students is incredible. I have found so much in this peaceful studio. Not only have I developed in yoga but I have become a stronger and better person. This place is truly a golden treasure and whoever is looking to learn yoga and help themselves, this is the place. I could not be more thankful to Carol and Freedom Within Yoga for everything it has done for me.

But after leaving a message to make an appointment and getting contacted immediately by the most pleasant person I decided I would go. I went on a monday afternoon when there were no classes in session and was greeted by a warm receptionist I believe was named Alexandria. I was glad that I went and will consider going again even though the facility is a way from my home. I hope to participate in some yoga classes before my next session. I wished I lived closer to this little gem.

Before coming, I had never done Pilates and their free demo was really very helpful. I wouldn't consider myself athletic or particularly in shape but that wasn't a problem at all! They truly cater to all abilities and let you know about modifications that can be done to work with any limitations. There are a good number of instructors that teach there and they all have a different style. Some focus more on technique, while others make it more about getting an intense workout. In addition to how welcome and kind everyone is, I have to say this studio has the most competitive pricing. I personally have an annual membership and have the ability to go 3 times weekly and at a reasonable cost. It's really easy to schedule a class through the MindBody app as well.

The staff and instructor were super friendly and the class ran a bit longer than 45 minutes which I also didn't mind. I've never gotten into yoga but I definitely left that session feeling spiritually lighter and overall just more positivity. I look forward to going back if I can squeeze another visit in with my hectic schedule.

I can say that the class title is definitely true to the class. I felt like we worked on all of those areas- strength, toning, flexibility as well as balance. Natalie started the class on time. She had mats set out but people are welcome to use their own mats. They provide blocks, straps and blankets as well. The room was a little bit tight for the number of people but Natalie did a great job of making the most of the space. The exercises don't require a lot of room and you're able to do a lot with just leveraging your own body weight. I felt like I got a good workout. The class is suitable for people with at least some experience with yoga. It's fast paced but not too intense. I would come back again.
