They do everything but say "let's be friends," yet you leave your appointment feeling that they might as well have said that, too! You may meet Reena or Ian or Dr. Vaughan himself, but you will get the same feeling from all of them- professional expertise first, with a general feeling of welcome and a listening to what you have to say. I've had two visits, and am very impressed, especially having received less than pleasant experiences elsewhere. I'm sold on these amazing people.

Dr. Carpio's office said the final step was to come to their office for an intake appointment. Mind you, we had NO MEDICAL NEED TO DO THIS. The three of us went and had our 8 minute "nice to meet you, quick medical background review" appointment and went home. We were billed $800 for these appointments. With a high deductible plan, that comes out of my pocket. $800 for an appointment we didn't need. SHAME ON THEM. A fee was never discussed beforehand and I never assumed there'd be a charge since we DID NOT ASK FOR OR NEED THE APPOINTMENT. Worse yet, Dr. Carpio refused to return the multiple messages i left for him to discuss the matter. I won't even go into the BS "coding" that was done to "correctly" bill the appointments. The coding referenced things that weren't even discussed in the appointment. Dr. Carpio is part of the problem. Charging/coding for things that were never discussed to justify a fee. It's not how a normal business is supposed to run but it's how we've all accepted the medical/insurance industry runs. We've since found another primary care physician and the last thing their intake person told us prior to hanging up the phone was "you do need to come in for an appointment to finalize your onboarding as new patients but LET'S WAIT UNTIL YOU ACTUALLY HAVE A NEED before we do that." I will never go to SUTTER or DR. CARPIO again. Other medical groups and doctors offer the same level of service at a much more affordable price.

I'm beyond happy with Dr. Leeds. I've been going to her for about a year now. When I first went to her it was due to my insurance changing after having years of the same health care. I was experiencing severe neck pain again due to a car accident in 2014 that I was treated for and needed to see a doctor. I had never heard of Nivano Health Care and was already a little skepticaI before I met her. My first meeting with her I instantly prejudged her. (Lesson learned to not judge a book by the cover) The hair threw me off because she has rainbow hair. Anyway.. she took my neck issue very serious and in less than a week I had another MRI done, referral to the surgeon and a referral to pain management. I left that day with a hug from her because she truly cares about her patients. She gave me a bag of coffee and my kiddos got a cookie. Today I went to see her because I'm sick and she was very sweet and explained in detail what was going on with my sinuses. She got me the antibiotics I needed and I'm very pleased. The staff is great as well. Everyone is happy to be there and is very helpful. I highly recommend her. Thank you Dr. Leeds for caring! The world needs more doctors like you. read more

She was my Dr before the Placer Med. Clinic closed. I will always have a place in my heart for her. If ever I have a chance for her to be my Dr again, I'm taking it! I suffer from many elements, most I've had since I was a child. My pain do to several traumas & rare bone disease I have, my pain level is always very high. From chronic migraines, neck, back pain., hips. She would research ways, treatments to lesson my migraines. I have them daily , she worked hard with my insurance so they would give me a prosthetic leg. She even would work late so that I could have a late appointment since I can't drive due to my disability, & always had to wait for my husband to be off work. When I had to find a new Dr, I cried. It was like loosing a family member. As of right now, I live in another county, but if I ever move back to Placer county I'm going right back to her. read more

Dr.Leeds was my doctor for several years! She help me sooo much with dealing with my pain!!! I couldn't afford the pain medication that I had been taking! So she & I spent time on what would work best for me? With my finances & my pain!! LOVE HER!!!! She really is Awesome!! I went on disability, & so I got Medicare!! Well after having my Medicare for a year, they called me & said, that I wasn't covered anymore due to non payment! Well I never received a Bill!! They sent it to my old address! So anyway it turns out that, I wasn't quit! It was just my scripts!! So far!! So if I'm still covered I'm going back to her!!! Thanks Dr. Leeds read more

I have not seen Dr. Leeds for almost 17 years. But I still remember her as being a kind, genuine person for me as a young teenager. All the posts bagging on her are from people who don't really understand that she carries all of her patients worries on her shoulders every day and night. Just talk to her like a normal person who needs help, and she will do her absolute best to get you through whatever you are dealing with. read more

I just switched to Leeds for my primary. My first appt was great and she took plenty of time to review all of my information. She is more holistic than my prior doctors which I appreciate, and she asked for my opinion on immunizations and honored my decisions. FYI: She has awesome rainbow hair and owns it :) read more

Dr. Aliabadi greeted me and was very friendly. He answered all my questions and was very professional. He then was to have his staff send a referral for me to go to UCSF. Over a week past, so I called his office. The person that answered said another staff member had called and actually talked to me twice. I told her I never received the calls or talked to anyone nor did I receive any messages. I questioned her about not receiving the calls and that is when her voice elevated. At the end of the call, I told her she did not have to be so rude and she said it was me that was rude and hung up on me. I have been an RN for over 40 years. I have worked with patients and their families, never have I treated any of my patient in this manner. Nor would the facility I work for tolerate or allow such behavior. My recommendation is to go see the Dr. Aliabadi, he is awesome. However, he should send his staff to a class on how to be professional and treat patients with dignity. Or hire a professional staff that can. Dr. Aliabadi if you did this, your reviews would be a glowing 5 stars.
