Weeks prior, I did call and ask if they were going to be open, of course because of the 4th of July weekend and the young lady said yes we will be open. I also confirmed again and said, it's 4th of July weekend so y'all are open, and she still said yes. I left church that afternoon to make it to my appointment on time. When I arrived and parked, there was a hand written note on the front door on printer paper in black ink taped to it that said "We are closed today." I didn't get a phone call, text or email telling me they were closed at all. I was very disappointed and upset about this one, because I had an event to get to the next day. Two, because my sister said they were the best nail salon and did great work, and I was excited to experience it. Three, because I could have saved my time and gas money in a city I was not from. I ended up going to Palladium Nails in High Point, just maybe 2-3 minutes away and Emily hooked me up. One of the best pedicures I've ever had in my 32 years of life. I also got builder gel for the first time and it burned lol, but my nails turned out pretty. Now the color I chose and the one Emily chose were totally different colors, but I was still very pleased. The building is quaint and unassuming on the outside. Inside are some very nice pedicure chairs and a few manicure stations. The vibe was great, very relaxing and fun. The pedicures were AMAZING. Christine knows exactly what she is doing and she won't let you walk out of there looking anything less than perfect! Even though it wasn't included in the package I bought, she gave my feet quite a bit of extra loving to get rid of the rough skin. No one goes above and beyond like that nowadays, I was very impressed and appreciative. Not only is she truly gifted at and passion about what she does, she's a genuinely wonderful human being. She talked to us the whole time like we were all friends! It was a refreshing change from the normal nail salon interactions I'm used to. Do yourself a favor, call and schedule an appointment!
