I'm glad that he put the welfare of his workers before the money; that's what's important to me and that is what shows a great work ethic. DO NOT HIRE- Company uses unlicensed subs, cuts corners, shingles over wood rot, does not follow installation guidelines for the products they use (they didn't cut ventilation holes for my ridge caps, so they don't function as ventilation and are purely for looks), left over 100 nails on my property, will not answer or respond to calls or emails and will likely completely forget about your job after you pay. They will bill you and your insurance even after the job is finished and you have been final invoiced. They will supplement your insurance to fix their own mistakes. When you bring it up they ignore you and drag their feet hoping you give up. For me personally this led to over 7 thousand dollars in roof damage on a "brand new roof" as well as needing to replace windows and siding due to them dragging out patchwork repairs for almost 2 years. Almost $15,000 dollars later its a BIG NO FROM ME DAWG.

In all fairness, they do good work (so it seems), but they have zero customer service, all they care about is the money, and as I found out twice, they will try to put things in the invoice that they did not do (did it twice... first time an 'honest mistake' the second time... well... you be the judge... either ethically wrong or they have no clue what work is being done... either way, a warning sign). Bottom line, avoid them if you like customer service.
