This is one of my go-to butcher shops. I drive 40 minutes all the way from Fuquay because it is better than any in Fuquay. Carolina Butcher Shop has horrible customer service and is overpriced. Angier Meat Market has bad cuts and low quality meats. The Butcher Market in Holly Springs is insanely expensive. It's either Costco or here for me. I subscribe to their text messages for specials and every week they change but they always have something that's a good deal. This past week they had Dino ribs for $4.99/lbs. They are usually $9.99/lbs and this is one of the only shops I can actually find real plate ribs and not beef back ribs which are way thinner. They also had tomahawk ribeyes on sale for $12.99/lbs. For reference Carolina Butcher shop had them on sale for $19.99/lbs and Costco was $16.99/lbs...so a great deal. There is a bell by the back that you can ring and ask for help with a cut or if they have more inventory of a specific item. They often have great deals on marinated wings usually $0.99/lbs. The selection of BBQ rubs and sauces is unmatched in this area. For example, they have most of the Meat Church rubs for $10.99/lbs and the others might have a couple and charge $14-15 for a bottle. And the selection is crazy...they probably have 70-100 different BBQ rubs on the shelf....it's just insane. Service is always great, the staff is really friendly and kind, just what you'd expect from a ma and pa community store. It is pretty small and gets crowded quickly but the lines move fast. read more

Lee’s Fresh Market - Frozen tomahawk $13 a pound. Dino ribs $5 per pound. - Meat Shops Near Me - Benson, North Carolina

Been shopping off and on there for several yrs now. Nice folks, but have gotten too much bad meat at this point. Probably a dozen times opening packages of meat to find it smells like 5 day old road kill. Prices no better than the grocery store. Same meat as grocery stores. read more

Lee's Fresh Market is great!! They offer great prices on superior quality meats as well as a modest selection of pantry staples, milk, and country butter. They also do meat processing. Check the specials each week for even better prices. And check out the bulk boxes, if you're looking to stock up the freezer. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Lee's Fresh Market is the real deal. Check them out!! read more

Enjoyed the items that I purchased, and there were some really good deals. There are notes on this location Local owned and run. The entire store does shut down for holidays ahead of time. If you're not from the area, you have been warned. Picked up some prime New York strips, ground beef, sirloin's, and chicken breast. Two of those were on their sale list.. Best price in the area. Here is where I need to go back a number of times to understand. There seemed to be a number of items in the freezers and coolers that we're going extremely bad. Unsure if I caught them during a restocking day. The location also has a number of spices/sauces, and vegetables to help with other grocery shopping. Friendly staff. Will go back and when it's not busy, snap a few photos. read more

Best deals around! Great quality. Love the flash sales always fresh. Highly recommend.

What I expected in a meat store prices was fair and plentiful Found the breaded chicken breast I have been looking for for years uncooked seasoned chicken breast ( just like at chick fa lay ) read more

I was excited to find a butcher, but they fell short of my expectations. 1) I was the first in line but someone else was served instead 2) Their credit card machine didn't work 3) $72 New York steak was though, extremely gammy and had gristle. I won't be returning! read more

Ground beef tasted funny and almost like shrimp. So weird. They had so much piled up it was buy 3 get 1 I believe it was. But it was just really really packed. But they were friendly. The chicken was good. They have a variety of meats which was good to see. read more

I find that my experience at Lees has been "hit and miss". They advertise great special. I have had excellent experiences with the pork products except the sausage, I don't care for the taste or texture of their sausage. They frequently have a chicken item or 2 on special my only complaint is the size of the chicken breasts, they are huge, like a hens breast instead of a fryer. The steaks vary greatly in variety and quality of meat from week to wee. I generally spend 100.00 to 200.00 about every week there but I will say I have not been happy with the last ground 90/10 meat I purchase. There is no way that the 3 large packages of 90/10 meat was anything close to what it was labeled, it was full of fat. I also purchased a pork loin that was spoiled, it smelled awful and we threw it out immediately. The store is a bit too far from my house to drive back. I find that all my negative experiences have been in the last few months so I don't think the quality is as good as it was when they first opened read more

Place is AWESOME! Fresh meet, great prices. Hard to beat and for me it is only a short distance away. Definitely worth the trip go check them out. read more

Great steaks and friendly staff. We always go to Lee's Fresh Market for our meat and wood pellets as they are a good price.

Save yourself time and listen to the reviews. Called asking for Salmon. Woman on the phone said "yea we got Salmon". We drove over 30 minutes. When we got there, we looked all over and finally asked a woman there for help finding the Salmon. I can't confirm it was the same woman, although they sounded suspiciously the same. She was rude and laughed at us saying they don't have any Salmon. We wasted over an hour and an hours worth of gas to be treated like trash, laughed at and ultimately lied to. I should have listened to the other reviews about the poor customer service and just went to the other butcher shop. read more

This is my go to place for meat and seasonings now. I saw their ad for the 10lb ground beef and thought it was a good deal. So, tried it and it's very good quality too. Way better than your standard grocery stores and cheaper. Win win. read more

I love to go to Lee's and pick out my meat. They have a variety of things to buy other than meats. It's like a grocery store as well. You will like the meat selections. If you can't find what you are looking for, just ask. They are great with helping their customers. read more

We bought prime ribeyes there to make for Mothers Day lunch, and I have to admit, they were delicious! We will be back! I want to try the filet mignon next. read more

Called the day before to put in an order but they said there would be plenty when I came in, and there was. I was interested in the 80/20 ground beef @ 2.89/lb. I bought 3 pounds. The burgers I made with it were delicious. I enjoyed looking around at the biscuit mixes and seasoning blends, the candy and the ready made crackers and snacks. I bought some hoop cheese and it was as good as I remember. They also have bread, potatoes, eggs and milk. The people were very nice. read more
