She made me BLEED not once but twice. One nail broke the day after going. I've been here several times and I have no complaints with the service. I don't do anything fancy, just regular polish. My only complaint is from the last time I went, the person polishing my nails obviously had a cold and wasn't wearing a mask. He sniffled, coughed, and cleared his throat repeatedly during the whole process and I should've left, but my feet were already soaking in the water by the time he came over so I thought I'd chance it. Well, I got a bad cold a few days later, and it sucked. I wish I'd asked him to wear a mask or just simply left. (I didn't have a mask with me either). It really is my own fault, but boo. When will we normalize wearing masks when we are sick, especially if we are working a couple feet (no pun intended) from someone else's face?! I don't think I'll be back here. read more

GO AT OWN RISK OF INFECTION!!! Well I've got my nails done for year and this is the first time I've gotten an infection. I felt my nails start to itch and burn after my last trip here. After coming in today I saw that my nails are infected or there is some sort of fungus. The fact that the nail tech still sanded down my nails after seeing the fungus is all you need to know. I rarely leave a review for anything but the service I received today was so amazing and fun that I had to! I had a man work on a fill and color with the understanding that I wanted some type of design on a few nails and something similar on my toes. I told them they could paint anything they wanted on my nails as long as it was colorful! Three of the ladies were painting display finger nails and showing me their ideas! EVERYONE in the entire shop was smiling and joking and taking the time to look up ideas on line! This is only my 3rd visit with them and I can't say enough about the quality of their work and attitudes while I'm there. Today I had three nail techs working on my nails at the same time! All laughing and having fun with it. I have gotten many compliments on how nice my nails look from all of the other times I've gone there and I'm sure this time will be no different. I don't even mind that I drive 45 minutes each way specifically to go there! They did a fantastic job on my nails today and made me feel very happy to be there! So my girlfriend went here to get her nails done only to be treated so rudely she cried!! What kind of establishment is this? When I asked someone about it, they said they're not suprised and if I called to ask they'd probably hang up on me. I'm super mad and even considering taking a trip up there to talk to them myself. Customer service means do what the customer asks. Not be rude when they ask for something to the point it makes them cry. Where were these people raised is beyond me. The owner is the one who made my girl cry and to be honest she probably doesn't care that she did. Please no one come here to shop as I'm terribly PISSED off. I have been a faithful customer of Lee nails for a while now and I thought it was a great place the people were very friendly and nice to me I didn't feel like a number I felt like a person it was great. Until it wasn't. I went and I got my nails done the clear coat was peeling off right after the day after I got it done and my nail polish on my feet was regular nail polish they told me it was drying it wasn't so it's smudged so I called and I told him the very next day that I was going to need to come in midweek to get it fixed when I came in I asked if I could pay the $15 that I would have had to pay to get gel polish no chip on my toes had I done it at the time of getting my feet done. They refused me and told me that it would cost me $25 to change all my polish if that's what I wanted done they would fix my hands and they would fix my feet so I sat they fixed my hands they fixed my feet they told me I was dry I left again and my toes are smudged yet again and I was treated like crap and they talked about me behind my back in their native tongue while I was sitting right there and made it perfectly obvious they were doing so I was very hurt. So being a customer to them obviously is not important the dime is a dime it doesn't matter if you have been a loyal patron or not. Or talked up their business to your friends or not. I have been going to Lee Nails for a few years, when I first went there it was always a great experience. But the service itself has gone down the drain. I have gone in the past couple of months and got my fingers done, full set and paint. The men who work there are rude, except for the main guy at that first spot, never had him, but I do see him flirting with teenage girls. The men are constantly taping your hand, told to quit moving, or to watch TV like a child. My fingers were YANKED and TWISTED and this wasn't my first rodeo, I know how to hold and present my hands, but evidently not good enough for this guy. I asked for a nail removal and a manicure, he used another fake nail to RIP THEM OFF!!!!!!! Why wasn't I given a SOAK?! It hurt! And when I said that it hurts that way he would look at me and say you're ok..... excuse me what?! I asked for a manicure, all he did was yank my nails off and them grind them down to the point they hurt to touch anything. I asked for clear nail polish on all my fingers except for my ring fingers due to surgery. He told me to wash my hands after the grinding then I sat back down and he told me I was done. He didn't clip the cuticles or anything like that and never applied the clear nail polish. He just decided he was done working and told me to leave! I will now be driving a half hour away to get my manicures and pedicures in Ottawa. I will also never refer anyone here and make sure to tell everyone to stay FAR FAR AWAY from Lee Nails in Peru, IL. Which sucks for them because they would get about $100 a month out of me. Treat your customers better!!!! read more

Very rude employees with no communication. I checked in with my daughter and asked if they can get us in for a service. They guy said to pick a color. We sat there patiently for 30 minutes. I asked how much longer and he rudely replied back saying they are so busy. He said another half an hour. I told him it would be nice if he would have told me one hour from the beginning it would have been helpful we could have come back. This has happened before. They do not know how to manage walk ins and appointments accordingly. Left and went elsewhere. read more

Took 40 minutes for a full set for $30 pretty good time than most places. However, because he rushed doing my nails they came our "halfass" not symmetric at all had to go home and refile them to a more satisfying shape. This is the first place I have gone to where they don't push your cuticle back when applying fake nails due to this miss step I have spacing in between the fake nail and my cuticle this is normal a week from getting nails done, not a day later. Overall nice place, need to inform them on proper service. read more

I regret to give this place 1 star. FYI a regular pedicure does not include them scrubbing your heels. If you would like any type of heel scrub, that's $5 extra. Their no-chip book that has the matching colors don't in fact match. My nails look like they were done by a child. Don't come here if you can avoid it. This place is awful. I could not be more offended if I tried. I came here with my 7 year old for our first mani/pedi's together. We picked our colors and sat down to wait. My daughter was holding the bottle of hers and it fell out of her hands. The lid came right off even though my daughter wasn't trying to open it and it spilled. The lady doing nails near by FREAKED out. Yelling at me to sit down sit down sit down! I just wanted to get us away from it. She then told us she didn't have time to clean it up right now she was busy, even though I never asked or expected her to. She wouldn't give me the napkin to clean up the polish on my girls leg until she told me 4 times not to get up or try to clean up the floor. I'm not stupid I know it would just smear it around. When she told ME to calm down that's when I told my daughter to stand up and let's go. Now we are at Hollywood nails and they are sooooo nice! Wish we had come here in the first place! read more

Such bad service!! I got there and was conned into getting higher prices than what they were. I sat down to start getting my nails done, and I was treated like I was dumb. Once the woman started, she cut my nails way too short, my fake nails look like their my real nails just painted. She made my nails bleed and continued to after she noticed they were bleeding.
