Went here on my birthday to get my nails done with my best friend. At first they got us seated fairly fast, but it shortly went downhill. The lady that started doing my nails (the owner?) kept on getting distracted. She finally up and left starting on another client without mentioning anything to me. I sat there awkwardly for about 15 minutes or so while my friend was getting her nails done. Still no communication from anyone on the progress of when my nails were going to be finished. I finally asked the lady who was doing my friends nails if anyone would be finishing mine soon. She told me that she was, that the original lady didn't know how to do ombré, and that my friend had come in first. Mind, my friend and I came in together, my nails got started first by the owner, and throughout the whole ordeal no one mentioned anything to either of us on what was going on. Meanwhile, my friend had a terrible experience with the lady that was doing her nails. She had a terrible attitude, rushed through the process of doing her nails, and tried to argue with her when my friend spotted a chipped nail and asked her to redo it. The lady told her that it would have been fine since she was going to double dip the nail. Just bs. She also got distracted and stopped doing my friends nails for a few minutes looking through her purse because an employee couldn't find something that was supposed to be in it. Very unprofessional. Once she got to me, again, it was rushed. She was a bit more polite with me since I had mentioned a few times that it was my birthday, but she still got distracted with ordering a pizza while doing my nails. She was so rushed that while she was filing our nails it has a very obvious indention on the majority of the nails. I spent almost 3 hours here, and since it was my birthday I would have liked to have been out a bit earlier. Totally not worth the $65 that was spent! Terrible customer service, and the next time we come to visit we will not be coming back here! We have just moved to the area and a neighbor recommended Kim at a salon on Canal Road in Orange Beach. After searching I found only 1 salon on Canal Road, Lee Nails. The salon was very clean. They use the plastic single use liners in the soaking basins and instruments were removed from their sterile package. Kim was gentle and efficient. She worked on a problem toenail giving it a chance to correctly grow. Kim offered other services but did not pressure. She also suggested a product/method to help my fingernails on a future visit. We were in town for a concert and wanted to do the Mani pedi thing together as we had done every time we were in Orange Beach for a few days. I searched on Google and found Lee Nails right down the road. This was the most relaxing experience ever. The staff were all warm and friendly and very talented. Traveling for business and this was the only place open on Labor Day. They did a good job on a pedicure and the service was quick (albeit somewhat rushed). Nothing really stood out as being spectacular. Just a regular nail salon. Price was slightly higher than I'm used to paying. read more

it was very busy, but they got us in at a good time! we waited for only an hour which was good for how many people were working. my nails looked amazing, and she did it in a very short amount of time. i would love to comeback next time i visit. read more
