First let me state that this place is wonderful and the people are too. I came here for the first time with my mom who has been with them for years. I showed Charles, the one who did my nails, a picture of what I wanted and although he couldn't make an exact replica he offered a wonderful alternative. I remember sitting beside me was a lady who was having trouble choosing a color but her nail artist, Lisa I believe her name was, was extremely patient. Lisa gave this lady many suggestions and would get up and get any color the lady would want, to see if it matched her skin. There was also a larger family who came in, 3 ladies and 3 small children. Even though the children were running around and causing a ruckus none of the employees complained and just smiled at them. When the mom of one of the children, and infant, wanted to get her nails done, one of the employees offered to carry him. She was extremely good with him and even gave him water from there complimentary water station, or whatever it's called. Back to Charles. He was extremely friendly and also relatable. He made many jokes and kept good conversation. He is extremely gentle with your hands and would ask me to tell him if he ever hurt me, he never did. He also offered to redo any nail I didn't like. He would also give massages on your hands and feet. He said everything salon should have this. He also said how he wanted to give everyone the best experience so they could all come back, I definitely want too. If I could leave zero stars I would. I've been here before and service was ok, but today I walked in with a gift certificate that I received for my birthday 2/11/2021. They would not honor it because they said it was expired. So my sister sent the receipt of when it was purchased 2/13/2021 with Lee Nails on the bank statement and they still would not honor it. Then they said they were under new owners. Ridiculous! Then they tried to say no one there filled out the gift certificate....so how did I get it then. The gift certificate was for $50. Usually love coming here, but I did not have the best experience this most recent time. The man did my nails and I showed him a picture of exactly what I wanted and he did something completely different. My daughter spent almost 70 for a full in pedi and gel polish. It was applied sloppy, the acrylic was too thick. I brought her back about 30 min later to get the issues taken care. One lady jumped up and started to yell at me for trying to explain what the issue was. I asked her to stop yelling at me. She started to yell at my daughter. I told her at that point to fix or refund. She said no and i called the police. She then wanted to fix her nails but her attitude is so strong, she's being rough on her. I have pics and video. I use to come here loyally years ago, but it has changed for the worse. I watched my manicurist zoom through my nails fast, messy and with an attitude. While I was having the pedicure fix HER mess, a girl came in with chipped polish after 2 days and they told her to come back the next day. Soon afterwards, a lady came in for a mani-pedi and they told her to come back the next day as well. And this was on a Monday when it was really quiet in the shop. I had my full done the day of me going to the beach . I was so disappointed . I paid 29$ because of shape and length . I arrived at the beach 4 hours later and boom my nails came off. The next day most of my nails fell off. I came Back from the beach and ask them to fix it . After a few back and forth the guy and only guy in the shop fix my nails . I went in here today and the lady who did my eyebrows MESSED THEM UP SOOO BAD told her i just wanted a clean up she trimmed them down wayyy to short they're soo noticeably uneven it doesnt even make sense, she tried ti fix it with a stencil and made it 10x worse never coming here again. If I could give a 0 star I would have. Kim the owner is very rude. I got the SNS nails and Tu did my nails. After 3 days they started coming up. I went back in to get them redone and Kim the owner worked with me and was rude from the beginning, had an attitude and didn't even answer questions as I was talking to her. She even jerked my hand as she was polishing them. I could feel the negative energy from her. I watched her roll her eyes as other customers dropped things on the floor. She was so nasty and very short. I think these people need a reality check. African Americans are their number one clientele but when we speak up or don't just accept anything they get an attitude. I told her and her husband I would not return because of the horrible service. Her husband said nothing. She began to get combative with me. I go in trying to get my daughters unibrow done becasue she's been made fun of at school so I decided to taken her in. the lady who was doing the eyebrow was nice but didn't understand much English so I was trying to let her know just the middle then some other lady comes over at me with an attitude tells me JUST CLEAN THE MIDDLE !? and then switches to Vietnamese talks smack about me and you could tell she was . she didn't even try to shape her brow she just went in and waxed and left them uneven . so now I have to go to another place to get her brows shaped . so no I didn't leave a tip cus of rude customer service and the lack of even trying considering it was for a 14 year old . The manicurist who assisted me seemed uninterested to have me as a customer (very unwelcoming), she nicked my cuticle (bleed a little), unevenly filed down my nails, and had the audacity to show impatient behaviors while I was selecting my colors. Not great on how to treat their customers but some are good at what they do. I came in for a pedicure and a manicure and was only given the service of the pedicure due to the fact that the person who was doing my feet had a scheduled appointment to get to. I volunteered to let her deal with her appointment because I did not want sloppy work done to my manicure. I never received the manicure. My gel manicure is beautiful and the woman who did it was very nice. The prices are average. I will note, however, that the woman who did my eyebrows did a poor job. She barely plucked after waxing and there are a couple of hairs here and there that really stand out. I understand that this sound extremely accusatory, but I also believe that the woman who did my eyebrows was high. Whether it be marijuana, hookah, etc., I could smell it on her breath and that was very concerning. I was worried about her job performance. I would rate this place a ZERO!!! This is the worst nail salon I've EVER been to. The communication and customer service is horrible. I came in for a fillin and was told 30 minutes wait. There were only 3 technicians working and each had a client. I was ok with the wait but then an hour goes by and 2 of the 3 technicians are done with their clients but NO ONE has acknowledged me. I ask at this point who was doing my nails and was told the man. He then leaves the shop TO GO GET LUNCH and I'm STILL waiting. Then I was told the other technician was going to do my nails....I proceed to her station and she tells me NO I HAVE TO WAIT ON THE THIRD TECH because she has an appointment. Keep in mind the 3rd tech has been working with her client the entire time I'D been waiting and was nowhere near done. So that would have been a 2 hour wait just for a freaking fillin. I have never experienced anything like this ever. I asked WHY no one ever said anything the entire time I'D been there and received NO ACKNOWLEDGEMENT OR RESPONSE but of course they started speaking in their language.
