The person that did my service did not speak English and this kind of took away from my experience, she was so sweet but we had no way of communicating with each other, she had to pull one of the other techs over to translate. I've never experienced this before, so for me it was a bit frustrating even though she was so nice and did a great job. Because of the language barrier I was unable to get a real time cost estimate of the extra fees and was just taken a back at my total. And because service aren't itemized on the receipt, I couldn't really tell what cost what outside of the basic service like my pedicure. Anyway, service was great but I think I would prefer to be serviced by someone I can speak to, so there is a clear understanding of what I am asking to be done and what costs if any would be associated with it. She also provides you with a good aftercare packet and walks you through important steps to take care of yourself during your healing process. I am visiting from out of town, and stopped in this place for a dip manicure. While I appreciate…read morethat the nail tech tried to maintain the integrity of my nails with little drilling, my manicure is very messy. First, the service started with my hands soaking in pure acetone to break up my dip from a previous manicure. I understand that's needed, but I've never had to dip my fingers in acetone, usually it's just on a cotton pad wrapped in foil. This broke down my previous dip powder (a dark gray color), and left gray patches on my hand. The nail tech assured me she would remove it. When I told her I wanted square, she turned up her lip. I said you can round the edges if you prefer, because I know my nails are short and I'd like to maintain the length. She gave me square, and they are much shorter than I anticipated, but I understood my natural nails were short. The issue, however, is they are very uneven. Some are square, some are left wide, some are narrow, lengths don't match. Then, when all is said and done, she leaves the gray residue on my hands, there is red powder residue around my cuticles, and they overall look very messy. The chair was uncomfortable but they had nice drink options. I'm giving two stars and would likely not recommend, but for the nice drinks and maintaining the integrity of my nails. However, for $70 ($84 with tip) it's far too pricy for a bad manicure.

Unfortunately, since being taken over by the current management, my experience has steadily declined due to consistently poor customer service. I continued to patronize the salon only because the nail technician I see--who is also the owner--does excellent work. However, great nails do not make up for the repeated negative experiences I've had. There have been three separate instances of questionable and unprofessional behavior that ultimately led me to stop supporting this business. First, the salon abruptly changed its payment policy without any notice. If you were receiving two services (for example, a manicure and a pedicure), they suddenly required you to pay separately if using a card--even though the services were done during the same visit. They claimed this was to avoid being charged twice for taxes and fees, which was not true, as the receipts clearly showed otherwise. When I questioned this at my next appointment, the owner's sister became loud and condescending, publicly stating that I "didn't know what I was talking about" in front of other customers. It later became clear this policy existed because they had trouble figuring out how to compensate employees. Once they resolved that internally, the policy conveniently disappeared. The lack of communication and respect during this situation was unacceptable. Second, during another visit, I scheduled an appointment the same way I always had and requested the same service I had consistently received. The technician was rushing and told me she did not have time. When I explained that I scheduled it as I always do, I was told I should have booked a 90‑minute service--something that had never been required or communicated before. Most recently, when I arrived for my appointment, I was informed, before services started, that if I wanted the same service I always receive--SNS with a gel top coat--I would need to pay an additional $10. This was particularly frustrating because the gel top coat was something the owner herself had introduced to me, and when I previously asked if it cost extra, the answer was always "no." This time, I was simply told it "takes longer," which is not accurate, considering a top coat is always applied anyway. There was no notice of this change--just another impulsive policy introduced when convenient for them. Needless to say, I will not be returning. The attitude toward long‑time customers and the constant, arbitrary policy changes are not something I am willing to tolerate any longer. Customer service matters, no matter how skilled the technician may be. I would not recommend this salon. There are far too many nail salons in Charlotte that provide both quality work and excellent customer service, and I intend to find one that truly values its clients. This salon seems to believe it's elite because of its location, but that assumption is sadly mistaken.

Had I known there was a possibility that ongoing appointments would not be available, I would have chosen an artist with the capacity to take on a long-term client from the start. I genuinely asked whether I had done or said anything that had caused an issue, as the sudden change in direction felt unexpected. I also asked if there were any other lash artists she would recommend so I could continue my lash care elsewhere, but no recommendations were provided. It was especially frustrating because the timing. This occurred the week of my engagement photos, Father's Day, and an upcoming beach trip, leaving me scrambling to find another artist while in the middle of a lash transition. What really bothered me was the double standard. Brianna maintains a strict cancellation policy for her clients, yet my fill appointment was canceled at 7:21 PM less than 24 hours before it was scheduled. Had I canceled with that amount of notice, I would have been charged. Instead, I was left scrambling to find another lash artist during an important week. At the very least, she could have honored the appointment that was already scheduled during my initial service and informed me then that she would not be able to accommodate me moving forward. If you're looking for a one-time appointment or you're already an established client, your experience may be different. However, if you're specifically searching for a long-term lash artist, I would strongly encourage discussing future scheduling availability before investing time and money into transitioning your lashes. I honestly can't give a meaningful review of her lash work itself because approximately 80% of the lashes on my eyes were still from my previous artist, and Brianna was primarily filling over an existing set rather than creating a new one from scratch. I also was not a fan of the appearance of the adhesive. The lashes had a shiny, almost glazed finish rather than the more natural matte look I was accustomed to from previous sets.
