This has been my go-to nail spa for nearly 3 years but after my last visit they have now lost a customer. The salon used to feel so much more clean. Now it actually feels close to unsanitary due to how much dust or nail shavings are all over the place. The quality has also gone down hill recently. My BF joined me on the last visit and we both ended up getting cuts. Mine on my finger and his on a toe. The polish was also uneven and splotchy on my nails. I've been coming here for a long time .( location is convenient in coconut point mall ) It's peaceful and relaxing. They offer a baby water bottle or soda can. The supplies are in disinfectant bags every time. And the pedicure tubs are clean too. I didn't like seeing almost empty nail polishes in the displays. ( I picked out a color that was pretty and almost empty gave it to the girl so she could possibly get another one from the supply storage.. possibly ???? No she got nail polish thinner liquid and filled the bottle with that stuff) No wonder my manicure didn't last as long as it should have. Prices are increasing often . Omg they were all so amazing and all extremely nice !!!! I went in and they were pretty busy but got me in and got my dip off really fast but still took a good amount of time with me!! My mom and sister went in and got a pedicure and they told me after they were done they were amazed and said it was the best pedicure they have ever had. I got dip and tips and I love the color and how smooth all the nails are,, I'm a pretty picky person when it comes to cleanliness and how my nails come out. I started going there before the holidays and so far no problem. Had appointment set up and worked beautifully. Until 2 days ago I walked in without appointment for fill and manicure. Well I had another tech, a male tech this time, and he removed the old dip sets and cut off my nails very short. I asked him are you going to apply new acrylic before seeping on color paint? He said that it looked better short. So we disputed a little while when I finally said I wanted my nails long. So he applied the acrylic and began the process. Towards the end by the last step, he was using a nail file to thin out the edges of my nails and it I began to feel a burning sensation and I told him it hurts. The very next day my rind and middle fingers was swollen with abrasion. He basically removed the top layer of my skin and it was red inflamed and painful. I stop by the nail salon to speak with him and he gave no attention to me but two other techs saw closely and one of them tried to console me by applying anti microbial solution on area which burned even more. I told them they need to be gentle when handling people's hands and I wish to never to go return there. I also had huge rash on my face after waxing eyebrows. I spoke to outside source and they explained they should applied a special ointment on the skin before waxing to prevent adverse reactions. That was not the case. I went here today and the lady that did my nails was shopping on the clock right before an appointment with a client, once we started she used the nail drill as if she has no clue hoe to use one without hurting the client, she went too far into the nail bed and it was almost bright red and cut my finger, and caused irritation to the skin around all but one finger. The nails are not smooth or even or even as sharp as I asked for (which she kinda mocked me for asking for sharper nails), the only reason I didn't say anything was because the design is what I asked for. Thank God it was 40 for it. I still tipped her because the design was perfect but only 5 instead of my usual 10 dollar tip. I had been here a few times years ago before I moved and decided to go back due to the convenience of the location since I was doing some shopping. I got my eyebrows waxed, deluxe pedicure and manicure with gel polish. Everything was good for the most part, the nail tech was friendly. The water for the pedicure could've been hotter, it was lukewarm at best. The deluxe pedicure was very relaxing. The manicure however was short and I was way overcharged, she massaged my hands maximum of 5 seconds with a random bottle of Victoria's Secret lotion that was sitting on the table next to us. My biggest concern with this salon is the sketchy cost of services. I went to the front desk to pay and was told $65, ok seems about right. I pay who I am assuming is the owner in cash, go to the back to tip my nail tech and then she chases me to the front to say that she forgot to add my eyebrows onto the total. Now i had to pay an extra $10. So after subtracting the pedicure and eyebrows I realize that I ended up paying $30 for a manicure that was 10 minutes (at the most, but honestly probably less). I understand I got charged extra for getting gel polish but on the price brochure it shows $20 for the French/American manicure (which was not what I received) and yet I was still charged $30!!!!! When I brought it up to the man who took my money he just argued that I got a manicure and didn't answer any of my questions about why the extra for just a basic manicure with no designs, etc. read more

My best friend and I went in here with great attitude.. We always give salons benefit of the doubt despite how they look.. Fortunately we both speak Vietnamese. We came in around 7 and wanted a quick pedi in order to have some time left to shop before the mall closes at 9. We normally do deluxe pedis because who doesn't love a good massage?? But we were in a hurry. Not knowing we were Vietnamese, they kept telling each other to trick us into getting the deluxe pedis. A woman did my best friend's toes and my best friend literally said she was a bitch because she kept rolling her eyes at her when she told her it hurt or tickled too much. The man who did mine was all sweet talk in english(very creepy) but would talk crap under his breath to the lady doing my friend's. He'd say lets see if she's boy crazy, old boy crazy! Or these girls feet are disgusting. And mind you my best friend and I are very particular about our toes and it is a peeve to let them ever get "disgusting." Kept telling me he recommends the deluxe since it was out first time there, do it, blah blah. I finally had enough and told me to massage harder in Vietnamese. They shut up after that but if he opened his mouth it was to kiss ass and tell me he's new, two weeks new. Total bull lol. Someone new doesn't have the audacity to talk so much crap.. We've tried multiple salons and even if service is not great the people are so friendly. Vietnamese people usually don't have time to talk about people so negatively but he had no shame when it comes to abusing our language. OH and he cut one of my toes. It hurt but I let it go. I went here yesterday to get a full set of acrylics with gel polish. Ana who did my nails, finished in 30 minutes if that tells you anything. I already had a bad feeling as soon as I sat down with how aggressively she handled my hands. I had to pull back in pain throughout the whole process. I was going to get a pedicure but I couldn't bring myself to after I saw that she squirted up the acetone she used on me in her acetone bottle. How many times has she reused this acetone, regardless if it's acetone. The place in a mess. She just made you feel like it was such an inconvenience you were there and she took it out on my hands. My nail shape is not consistent and they are so thick. I do not recommend this nail Salon and I don't think they should be associated with Coconut Point. read more
