I was sad to read the previous review because I have been a patient of Dr. Lee for close to 10 years. Like any employer his office has a rare change in personnel and apparently you caught him at a new orientation of a couple of staff. As a medical professional, too, of 37 years, I know it is difficult for us to accept when we are the patient/payor on the wrong end.
Personally I take the initiative myself by contacting my provider and asking if the physician is in my network before making any appointment with a new doctor and don't leave it to anyone else to do that important footwork whether it is their job or not.
His team all these years have been a well-oiled system of graciousness and friendliness. Without speaking for them, I suspect if your problem had been addressed by taking the high road and asking the doctor for some flexibility in the payment system, they would readily have found a way to work with you to make the process easier.
In this new world of medical change we must take responsibility for our own care and health in every way we can.
Dr. Lee, as the outstanding practitioner he is, has given me upwards of 6 implants without one single incident - something I cannot say for any other dental practitioner I have had in my long life. His staff taught me how to maintain my oral care more than any other. read more
