Dr. Chris is the real deal. He takes extremely great care of our pets and is very knowledgeable. We…read morehave 5 senior animals and so far, 4 of them have been to this clinic. At their ripe age of 14+ for all of them, we've visited our fair share of vet offices and know the difference in bad care vs good care - this is GREAT care. They work with your budget and don't make you feel guilty if you can't throw the entire kitchen and the sink at your vet bill. They also accept Care Credit! Jazmin at the front desk was also super helpful, professional, accommodating, and nice. This location is easy to access and usually parking is pretty easy in their lot. This location has been around for decades and you can tell they've developed a great reputation within the community. Thank you Dr. Chris, Jazmin, and HB Vet!

I usually don't leave reviews but since this is the second incident I've had with this place I feel…read moreit necessary. It's unfortunate because I really wanted to love this place. I give it a 3 because of the technicians who have made my dog feel safe at a time of uncertainty and the vet who ensured I was informed of how to properly care for my dog during a stressful situation. The technicians and doctors were so informative and helpful and my dog loved the attention they gave. However, the front staff is just off. Twice I've called to make appointments for multiple issues.. labs, allergy shot, etc.. nothing too complicated. However, both visits only allergy and meds were done. When I confronted the office staff (mainly the older women who seems she needs to retire at this point because she doesn't seem to have a clue) her response was my appointment was booked under "a technician appointment". Since I have no clue the difference between a technician appointment and whatever other appointments exist, I explained to her that since I informed her that I would need lab work and vaccines done as well, shouldn't that be her job to figure out what type of appointment my dog should get. Then as she felt the need to dig deeper into why my dog didn't get all his needs met at his appt, she began to read notes to me from past visits that had nothing to do with this visit. I explained to her that those had been resolved and I was well aware of outcome so unsure why she needed to discuss those concerns and I tried to kindly redirect her to my current issue of why my dog did not get his labs done when she clearly read that labs were the reason for his appointment... her response was "I don't know". Twice I've had to book a second appointment to complete the care for my dog that should have been done in one visit. When I voiced my concern about my distrust in their system and not wanting to book another appointment because I plan to take my business elsewhere, her response was "ok". I also feel the need to mention that both incidents involved this particular woman. To the older woman working in the front office: please learn more about your job and feel free to ask questions to your colleagues should you not understand something or need an answer. Your oversight can end up affecting someone else's business.

Panic and fear set it as you don't want to lose your bestie. This place takes about 30 minutes and the boy is going home at a very reasonable price with the most caring and gentle staff you will ever meet. We immediately changed vets and now this is where we go!!!

Best vet i've ever been to! Cant say enough positive things about this place…read more I first started going here a few years ago after a neighbor recommended them and the initial draw was their hours because I have a senior dog and I liked the idea of being able to take him to his regular, familiar vet for an urgent/emergency situation (which always happen after 6pm). But I am so glad I started coming here. Literally everyone is terrific. They very clearly care about you and your pet and I always feel so much better after a visit. Dr. Babcock is phenomenal. He's very gentle and patient with my anxious, arthritic dog. And he's so great with being thorough and explaining everything going on, all the various options, their pros and cons, and his recommendation based on all the various factors, and then answering all of my often ridiculous questions. And another huge thing is that they are so amazing at communication. They always get back to you promptly...sometimes i'll forget to plan ahead for an Rx refill and it's no problem, they follow up to see how your pet's doing, etc. It's just a level of service that's unparalleled at any other vet I've been to. Chandler (the practice manager) is fantastic. She's on top of everything, makes sure that the line of communication is always open, and goes above and beyond if there's ever any type of snafu that comes up. The entire staff (all of the vets, vet techs, front desk, etc) you can tell is very engaged with what's going on with you and your pet. I'm so thankful that I found them because they have taken such great care of my dog at a level that I know he would not have gotten anywhere else. I promise you will not regret coming here.

We are incredibly grateful for Love Animal Hospital Urgent Care…read more Late Sunday night, our 12-year-old black lab, Chase, suffered a sudden stroke. He couldn't move and was whimpering in pain. We called and were told to come in immediately. When we arrived, a team was already outside waiting with a gurney. They gently helped him from our truck and brought him in right away. Within 30 minutes, we had answers and guidance during an incredibly difficult moment. Although the outcome wasn't what we hoped for, Chase did not suffer long--and that means everything to us. The compassion, professionalism, and dignity they showed our family was beyond exceptional. And the cost (under $300) for that level of care truly deserves recognition. We are beyond thankful. This is a place you can trust with your pet--your family.

When I explained this to the woman who answered the phone, she responded with, "What do you mean? Like evacuate the building?" and laughed. I was already extremely distressed and trying to get emergency care for a very sick dog. I then had to explain the procedure myself while asking about potential costs and urgency. I understand exact pricing may not be possible over the phone, but the overall interaction made the office sound uninformed and unprofessional during a very serious situation. Because of how the call was handled, I did not feel confident or safe bringing my dog there for emergency treatment. My veterinarian had specifically recommended emergency evaluation overnight, but after this interaction I stayed home instead. Tragically, my dog passed away during the night. I understand front desk staff are not veterinarians, but basic professionalism, compassion, and familiarity with emergency terminology should be expected at an after-hours veterinary office.
