Very fast and caring response. Was able to book an appointment within a week. A very great service. Dr. Kate truly cares about the animals and their owners. She makes not only our pets comfortable but us as well, as she speaks to you on a personal and professional level. My cat and I felt very well taken care of and will definitely continue using her services and recommending them!

Dr. Kate is wonderful, has a great soft touch for my elderly dog, and helps out whenever possible. My dog will not see another vet.

The most sweet, understanding, competent, skilled vet I've ever known. And I've had dogs pretty much my entire life.

    How much is a consulation?

Hi there! It depends on what kind of animal you have! It’s $150 for the house call, and $60 for a dog/cat exam, or $70 for a large animal or exotic pet exam.

Do you service clients in Orange? I have a Pomeranian who has a complete meltdown at the vet. Last time he was traumatized so badly his tail dragged on the ground for 2 days. Normally Pom tail is up on his back. I'm at a loss on how to help him. ty

Hi there! I do come to Orange! If you’re interested in setting up an appointment or would just like to discuss next steps, feel free to call or text me at 657-527-9779. Thank you for your interest!!!

Would you be able to do a consult for a cat who's very aggressive/fearful and is currently experiencing a health problem with what seems to be dermatitis?

Hi there! That is something I can potentially assist with! Due to your cats aggression, we may need to start with an initial telephone consult, and start on some medications prior to me coming by for an exam. Feel free to call/text at 657-527-9779… Read more

Updating for Ocean's recent occurrence. We came in for a regular Bordatella shot and I informed the…read morevet that I noticed a little blood in her urine. They ran urine and blood tests as well as x-rays. Her urine and blood results came out normal so she may have just had an infection that went away. However, they noticed a metal bottle cap in her stomach! Ocean often eats random things off the ground but she wouldn't have eaten a bottle cap unless it was in some food! Regardless, they tried a method and thought she would be able to pass it in the next couple of days. Well, a whole week passed and it didn't. So, we took her back and they needed to surgically remove it. The procedure seemed to go smoothly. We picked her up at the end of the day and she was still out of it, but relieved to come home and was able to drink and eat. We gave her medications as prescribed. The incision was about 9 inches across Ocean's belly. We did our best to keep it covered, but she did scratch it a bit. At her follow up appointment, they removed the sutures and provided antibiotics and a solution to keep it clean. At her third follow up, they provided antibiotics and ointment for the redness, but she healed pretty well in a matter of weeks. They said going through the esophagus would have damaged it, so this was the best approach to getting the bottle cap out. As a souvenir, they gave us the cap in a ziplock bag and we could see that it was starting to rust. They were great about calling and checking up on her and they did an excellent job stitching her back up. They gave us an estimate range of the cost prior to the procedure and luckily, it was on the lower end, but still a dent in our wallets. Ocean was a champ through this healing process despite not knowing what had even happened to her! Thanks again to the team here for helping Ocean out!

Our regular vet initially gave antibiotics and medication, and he said if it happens again, we should take her to the hospital for more test as he was thinking there was something in her bladder like stones. When the symptoms returned a week later, we knew we had to take her to the hospital. Since our usual clinic doesn't offer urgent care, we searched and found this hospital on Google. They were able to see us the same day. The front desk staff was very kind and welcoming, and even though the place is currently remodeling, everything still felt organized and efficient. They performed an X-ray, blood test and urinalysis, found a bladder stone, and clearly explained the situation and treatment options. Because the stone was too large to pass naturally, surgery was recommended. They walked us through the procedure, provided a clear estimate, and scheduled surgery for the very next day. The entire visit took about 3 hours, and we felt our dog was in very good hands the whole time. She is now on the road to recovery, and we're so grateful for the care she received. We also appreciate that this hospital is closer to home -- we've definitely found our new vet. Thank you to the whole team for taking such good care of our girl.

Thank you for reaching out and listening to our concerns. I would like to sincerely thanks Ambassador and their sister location, All American Animal for showing compassion during our recent visit on 02/24/2026. We are long-time patients of this clinic and have always trusted the team with our dogs' care, which is why we continue to come here whenever our pets are not feeling well. We brought Kino in because he was experiencing excessive itchiness, redness, vomiting, and was clearly in discomfort. Despite the office being very busy, we truly appreciated the time that Dr. Meina took to see him and make sure he received the treatment he needed. From the moment we were brought in, he listened attentively as I explained Kino's symptoms and concerns. It meant so much to feel heard and understood, especially when your pet is clearly not feeling well and in distress. Dr. Meina took the time to thoroughly assess Kino's condition and explain the available treatment options, ensuring we felt comfortable and informed with the plan of care. His patience, professionalism, and compassion helped make an already stressful situation much easier for both us and our dog. I would also like to thank Marisol, the manager, who reached out after we addressed our concerns and helped refer us to their sister clinic's urgent care so that Kino could receive the care he needed as soon as possible. Despite some initial misunderstanding, the office took the time to listen to our concerns and worked with us to find a way to assist in getting Kino the care he needed. That level of communication and willingness to help truly made a difference. Veterinarians and their teams play such an important role in relieving pain, managing illness, and ensuring our pets are comfortable and safe. We love this clinic and appreciate the dedication the staff shows to their patients and families. Thank you again to Dr. Meina and Marisol for taking the time to listen, support us, and make sure Kino received the care he needed.

Every few months or so I notice she balloons up, strains, the inevitable sludge emerges, and I go "yep! Dr. Meina is insightful, kind, compassionate, and makes the entire process less stressful on the both of us. It also helps that Ambassador is affordable in our current economy. We're a fan through and through.
