They go above and beyond in their care. One family member had a mouth ache over the weekend and they were willing to see her on Sunday when the office was closed. I've never seen this level of concern for a patient at any practice. Their commitment to patients is beyond transactional. The dentists do not rush and communicate with the patient to ensure all concerns are addressed. I can be grouchy about excess X-rays in general and they are savvy in dealing with my concerns while ensuring I get proper care. The staff communicates fluently in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese. I switched to this practice due to a long distance move and thankfully they have been willing and capable of servicing my dental prosthetics from the previous dentist. When I don't take public transportation and drive to my appointment, I park at Tangram Mall a block away. Surprisingly, I am often able to find street parking.

When I first became a patient, I didn't really understand how dental insurance worked. Sandra took the time to walk me through everything and clearly explain how my two insurance plans would coordinate. At one point, I even had three different insurance policies, and the office went above and beyond by running all of them to make sure I received the maximum benefits and the best possible coverage. Crystal also deserves recognition, she is always friendly, incredibly patient, and consistently returns my calls, which I really appreciate. Melanie, who handles my periodontal cleanings, is also wonderful, always kind, professional, and consistently on time, which matters a lot to me since I value my time as well. Over the past couple of years, I've had many appointments, and I can only recall one time when I waited more than 10 minutes to be seen. That's extremely rare for any medical office. They are punctual and genuinely respectful of their patients' time. Beyond my quarterly periodontal cleanings, Dr. Yoo and his team have taken care of two implants, gum grafting, and several retainers for me.
