Only reason I would even give it one star is convenience when don't have a car and hours open quite…read moreearly which is nice in the spring and summer. But as mentioned machines hardly ever work right and I do my best to remember to bring my own quarters. The one time I didn't set their machine was out 2 years ago they didn't have enough left in the store and I was forced in the snowy weather to go all the way to North street. Remember I don't have a car everyone else could drive somewhere else I had to walk to another location. Also as mentioned they are not good about wanting to give you your money back when the machines are not working right. They tried to tell me I was there the day before with the same broken machine trying to tell them the same thing. Number one I can barely afford to go one day a week to do my laundry in one load. Number two if I had not been at work and was there the day before for some apparent reason how would I know it wasn't working the day before even if you don't put it out of order sign on it. Unfortunately I probably will still use it for spring and summer because I like to get things done and hopefully be out of this hell somehow for winter when I have my own laundry.

Once inside, I wanted to leave immediately but I was…read moredesperate to do a load of laundry and this was the only place open within a 45 minute ride. The floors are filthy, trash everywhere and dirty. The machine was off balance and didn't properly spin the clothes. The machine never dispensed the detergent into the clothes. The seal that keeps clothes and water in the machine was torn, making the machine leak and it nearly ate 2 articles of my clothing. I had to wring the extra water out of my clothes out before I could put them in the dryer. I'm writing this while I wait for the dryer. Who only knows how that's going to go. I'll edit this post if that goes bad as well.

Overall, recommended. Thoughts:…read more BAGS, NOT WEIGHT: Unlike other services I've used in the past, who "weigh" your clothes, LP charges a flat fee per bag - so whatever you can stuff in their large bags is $20 per bag. I like this system a lot, as I don't have to worry about certain items being more expensive and I know what I'm going to be paying without waiting for someone to come and weigh everything. My husband and I have done some testing and found that the bags come out to a little under twice as much cost as doing the laundry ourselves at the laundromat. It depends, though, if that time is worth it to you. It is to us. ONLINE ORDERING: They have a nice online ordering system. You can specify days/times and locations for pick-up/drop-off. On that first menu, they also have additional services for around $4-$6 fees such as stain removal, special delicate wash, same-day service and other things I've apparently never used because I can't think of them. SERVICE: Service has been prompt. Clothes has been delivered well-folded, although packed in a plastic bag rather than a paper bag (so things do get wrinkled) and nothing lost as of yet. I order the unattended drop-off/pick-up and I like that I get email notifications when that has happened. If it is a day I'm off work, I actually do head home to bring in the laundry (tip for management if you are reading this - putting undergarments somewhere hidden would be appreciated; the bags are clear!) UPDATES: *March 2016: So far great service. Highly recommended. *July 2016: I've had two white items come back recently with stains. A few days later: Good response from Laundry Party (Ben) via email that attests to how much they do seem to care about customers. For me, I haven't been able to reach them via phone, but email was prompt (between one minute to one day except on the weekends, I think) *August 2016: I'm graduating to more delicate items that I care about; so far, so good.
