I liked how it was connected across the top with a path over to the jumping pillow and trampoline area, which you can also access via the stairs. The foam pit and trampoline area is so much fun, my kids spent a majority of their time here. Definitely still need to come up and supervise your kids, but I found most other kids were cautious of little ones and well behaved. The foam blocks also all have covers on them. The kids also enjoyed the arcade zone, which was quite popular with the older kids. Looked like they had a good selection of prizes too. Only saw one game not working. Food wise they have a good selection of deep fried goodness, also some healthy options too. We got the popcorn chicken combo- comes with half popcorn chicken, half fries and a juice box. It was recommended as the best deal. The mozzarella sticks were tasty and came with an interesting tomato Bruschetta kind of sauce. Outside food is not encouraged.... I found it funny watching parents follow their little ones into the mazes/netted play areas. There are areas where you can lose sight of your kids. I can see why parents would want to stay super close to their young kids in a crowded place like this. I found that there were a variety of activities/play areas for the kids to explore. This venue is quite large and spacious. I appreciated the toddler play area. For the most part my son was surrounded by kids close to his age. The play area was padded and soft so I wasn't worried about my son hurting himself. We spent about 1.5 hours here. This was pretty impressive considering our son's nap time was around this time. He had a wonderful rest after all the excitement! There's so much more to check out. We will definitely have to come back!

They don't just sell you a package and then that's it... all the staff are awesome! What I appreciate the most is that you can have 0 skill set or fitness level or be at a 10/10 and this is a perfect fit! The reason being, your only competition is yourself. If you're just easing into it, or you're in the best shape of your life... you would just increase intensity all while still getting an amazing workout in. Each day, is different exercises and reps so you don't get bored with the workout. Except the 1st station, which is warm up and is skipping. As a kid I used to be able to skip for hours, so I thought... hey, this will be easy. Lol 3 minutes of jumping rope when you're outta shape kicks my ass. But it gives me incentive to keep going and keep building to what I know I'm capable of. What's great is at each station when you switch... theres a trainer there to explain/show you what to do. They are there to show you as well as motivate you and keep you going. I can't say enough about how great they are. Instead of just buying a gym pass and hitting the fitness walls and issues of typical gyms, why not check out 9 rounds and get the most bang for your buck when it comes to you improving your fitness :) and better yet, they clean everything for you!

Upon entering the facility, the trainers as well as the members were very welcoming. After getting changed into workout gear, Sam took the time to explain how everything works at 9Round. Once that was done, we were able to start our workout. There are 9 stations total (pretty obvious considering the name of the place!). Rounds 1-2 are strength based where you will do exercises with dumb bells, kettle bells, medicine balls, jump ropes and other equipment. Rounds 3-8 are where you will do your Kickbox exercises with different types of moves (ie punching and kicking) on different bags. Round 9 is the ab and core station. You are at each station for 3 minutes with a 30 second break in-between each for a total 30 Minute workout. There are trainers there that help you through out each exercise. They will also help you wrap your hands and put your gloves on. Once your gloves are on, they will help you with anything - and I mean ANYTHING! Shoe is untied? Trainer will tie it for you. Need your shirt tucked in? Trainer will be there to help with that as well. And the best part? You don't need to clean up the equipment or wipe anything down after each exercise - the trainers do that too!! I found the trainers to be very knowledgeable, helpful, welcoming and kind. I had an absolute blast and I'm already looking forward to my next workout! I can't wait to see what my future holds at 9Round Leduc and reaching my fitness goals.

This neighborhood park is where we go when we want a change of scenery. It also has a bigger kid side so there is something for everyone. It's also a park friendly to disability's with some special equipment for that. Last time I came they were also in the middle of building a spray park there so next summer when it's done, or this summer perhaps? It's going to be awesome! This park also has a big hill for winter adventures or for summer rolling and running. They have a mini pathway for bikes or pretend play too. Even my toddler had fun playing despite not being able to use most equipment properly. There are 2 separate activity rooms with bleachers for seating. Birthday party room has a microwave & fridge for edibles... and is also a good space to keep coats. Party for 10 kids starts at about $150 for 2 hours, and is about $10 more for each additional child. Impressive that staff encouraged hand washing to all the children prior to snack & cake time and that the venue is clean and spacious.

The space was loud due to the inflatables. Great for older kids, not so welcoming for the little babies and moms who just want to get together and chat more so. My baby was around 14 months old when we went and he was too small for this space so that is probably influencing my rating and I think an older active kid would probably enjoy it more. To go up the gymnasium portion and slides I had to help my kid along. The little baby area he wasn't really into I think because the toys either were not working or because of the inflatable motors he couldn't hear them. The other interesting thing here were so carousels (coin-fed rides like you used to find in the malls) but you had to pay extra to enjoy them. As with most indoor playgrounds there is a strict no outside food and socks rule. One nice thing about this place was the abundant parking. This place is in the Deep South on Edmonton so if your near this area it's a close option.

And the group we came with chose it because it is actually smaller than many other similar indoor playgrounds meaning that we can better keep an eye on the kids without having to chase them nearly so much. There are also some pretty neat aspects: a couple good bouncy castles, lots of loose toys to play with (especially for the very little kids) and lots of good eating areas for parents to lounge and connect in. The actual huge climbing structure is well constructed and great for the kids. And there's a fancy delivery robot so this place really has a little bit of Asian kitschy feel to it. But the downsides are that the place happens to feel a bit rundown in places. The entrance has that feel occasionally. The coin operated rides are annoying if you don't happen to have multiple loonies on you (only the claw machine took a toonie insofar as I could tell)... and there are lots of potential add-on charge items like the rides and the games and the toy dispensers. I didn't partake in their menu as we chose to go elsewhere to eat after lots of playtime for the kid, but overall our trip here was excellent. The door was a bit confusing to the building but the parking seemed ample on the Sunday morning when we visited. Operational hours are limited but that's actually kind of okay for an indoor playground space like this one I think.

Well hello Pipestone Creek Recreation Park. I've walked in you for years and I had no idea what…read moreyour official name was until I had to add your listing to Yelp. When I was growing up, you were just "The Creek Park." Later, you were The Creek Park that people built their houses in. I was none too fond of that. Nor am I still none too fond of it. My dog used to go running for puddles that would gather at the base of a hill where those houses now stand. Boo. Anyway, this past weekend I was back for a visit and had occasion to revisit my old running loop. Everything's just as I remembered! The park itself is awesome. By day, it's a great place for a walk or a run. The path running through it is relatively flat, so easy for just about any age to enjoy. There are also soccer fields and baseball diamonds for people to enjoy. When I was in jr high, I used to come out to the soccer fields in the early hours before school and practice throwing a discus (it was the one track and field sport I seemed to have a natural knack for). In more recent years, the town has even added a spray park. By night, it's by far the best place within the town limits to come star gazing (or catch the Northern Lights if it's winter). Park yourself in the middle of a soccer field, lay down and look up.. wwwaaaaaaaay up. It's gorgeous! I also have memories of a family of foxes living in the park. And it's always fun to stroll along the creek in the evenings and see if you can spot any beavers swimming around. It's quite pretty, and enjoyed even more in the presence of friends or pet.

RV, tenting, and they have yurt camping which looks amazing and it's on my list to try. Some sites are more difficult than others to set up a tent. The ground is just too packed down and rocky. And other sites I've been on haven't been an issue. Pit toilets and flush toilets. Day use area has the best cellular network connection. Depending on where your site is there is a high likelihood you won't have any. There is some sandy beachiness in the day use area, but you cannot swim in the lake. My favourite part is that it is a dark sky preserve. It's wonderful at night to watch the sky in the amazing quiet of nature.
