I eat at this place fairly frequently. The pizza here is always prepared well and I have never once had a complaint about the food. The ingredients are of fairly goo quality but sometimes could be of the fresh variety as opposed to canned. But knowing the ingredients fairly well I go here when I'm in the mood for it. If I'm in the mood for more of a gourmet pizza I go to Waterstone or Rivermont pizza. The nice thing about Ledo's is that the service is almost always great and the prices/portions are excellent. Another great thing about the menu is that it contains a whole lot more than pizza. Some appetizers there rock are the fried ravioli and the garlic bread with melted provolone. Also if you like calzones or Stromboli then you gotta try them at Ledo's. The Vege calzone is godly. All in all another great pizza place on Lynchburg that's cheap and supremely delicious.

Good pizza, really sweet sauce and taste. Craft beers available.

Great pizza! Love when they are completely cooked but also love that you can order it half cooked and you can cook it later if need be.

The Pineapple and Ham Calzone we had ordered was huge, probably;y the biggest I have ever seen in these parts. It could easily feed 2 people, even with that we had to box the leftover. The crust and cheese, ham mixture in Ricotta cheese were made to perfection. I must say the crust was one of the best I have ever tasted for a Calzone. It was awesome! the portions were most generous. For my first Graziano experience, it was certainly an A+!! The wait staff deserved a generous tip for their very friendly service. I hope to be back again someday soon with the rest of my family.

I had a pizza before and wasn't the most impressed, but I was willing to give them another try. Craving a salad tonight I decided to order and I'm so glad I did! The large chef salad is huge and packed! Tons of meat and cheese, literally a whole hard-boiled egg, four slices of tomato, multiple slices of cucumbers, etc. There were also 2 large cups of ranch and the ranch was just as amazing! This quite possibly the best chef salad I've had in over 20 years. It really took me back! It's so big I can easily get 2 meals from it. I added a pic under the photos so be sure to check it out. The price was even quite affordable. The only thing I could possibly think would make this better was if they cooked their own bacon, but the bacon bits on the salad were all real and great quality. None of the cheap stuff or artificial bacon bits. I also ordered the cheese bread to have a little something extra with the salad. I was thinking it was going to be cheesy bread sticks maybe, or one of those oval shaped breads covered in cheese. This is actually much bigger and about the size of medium pizza. There is plenty of cheese on it and the olive oil and garlic really put this cheese bread on another level. The crust tastes like pizza crust and the flavor is incredible. I had a large cup of marinara and it is also really good. Everything was exceptional, including the temperature, time, and service. And it may sound odd but the utensils included were also great quality, very durable. I could easily cut up the veggies and meats without concern the utensils would snap. I will most certainly be regularly visting Vitales and ordering this same meal. It's so good I don't know how I could go and not get the same thing. I'm telling everyone I know. Run, don't walk and you can thank me later!

This visit didn't land there. **FOOD** The issues here weren't about complexity. They were about fundamentals. The chicken parmesan sandwich set the tone. Instead of a proper cutlet, it came out as heavily breaded chicken strips. That changes the entire structure of the dish. It eats more like a shortcut than a decision, and not a good one. The cannoli didn't help. The shells were fine, but the filling was clearly not made in-house. That's where it falls apart. Cannoli filling is simple, and when a place skips even that step, it raises questions about the rest of the kitchen. Pizza and the rest of the table followed the same pattern. Nothing outright inedible, just consistently underwhelming. No one at the table finished with anything worth talking about, and that usually tells the story better than anything else. This isn't about chasing authenticity. It's about doing the basics correctly and choosing not to cut corners. **SERVICE** Service was polite and steady. Orders were taken correctly, food came out in a reasonable time, and there were no issues with attentiveness. That said, the service felt like it matched the room. Functional, but a bit worn down. Nothing wrong, just not much energy behind it. **AMBIENCE** The space feels dated and a little tired. Lighting is on the darker side, and the overall environment gives the impression that it hasn't been refreshed in a while. It's not uncomfortable, just lacking any sense of upkeep or intention. **CLOSING** This is the kind of place that doesn't fail because it's trying something difficult. It falls short because it isn't executing the basics well. There's a foundation here that could work, but right now it feels like it's been left alone too long. When the small things slip, everything else follows. **RATINGS** Food: ** Service: *** Ambiance: *** Overall: ** Personal Disclaimer: I value small, independent restaurants and want them to succeed. This review reflects a single visit and may not represent every experience. ***EVERY RESTAURANT IS WORTH TRYING FOR YOURSELF. Go, see what you get, and be honest in how you evaluate it.*** I've worked as an executive chef, restaurant manager, and owner. I tend to hold places to a higher standard. Execution matters. True Sicilian owned and run trattoria where there is a wide ranging menu of American and Italian specialties. We stuck with the Italian and some apps for the little ones. Apps come out quick and are decently sized which is great when you have two kids. The mac & cheese was homemade and not the boxed stuff - and my youngest tore into it and was literally wearing it all over his face - he loved it. We also had bruschetta, which was house made and excellent except it was served on sicilian pizza dough - would loved to have had real italian bread for that. Italian meals were shrimp parm and my wife had the seafood special (sort of a marechiara) and both were excellent. Sauce is good, maybe a tad too sweet for me, but good nonetheless. We had a lot of food and even with that we finished with spumoni ice cream - which I haven't had in years. Serving was huge and we all shared it. Service was adequate - the waiter had no clue what things are in Italian and needs to work on that, but otherwise all good. We walked out fat and happy. Definitely going back. Large parking lot in front.

So an $11.00 8" sub turns into a $14.00 8" sub alone. No doubt he is making a lot of money by doing this, unless there are regular customers who have become aware that he charges extra, and avoid adding these cheap toppings, that should automatically come with the sub. I've never been anywhere before where they charged a $1.00 for Iceberg Lettuce. The place also smells disgusting, with cheap vile chemical cleaners flowing up your nostrils as soon as you enter. No way could I ever eat there. I've read a few other reviews where customers have noticed that this same older man (owner) has overcharged customers before, by ringing up different prices versus the menu prices, with them vowing never to return, as it did not go unnoticed like he foolishly believes or most likely, does NOT care. The older man (owner) also charges a 3% fee for using a credit card, which is absolutely greedy as hell. I made sure I took cash when I purchased the sub, as I knew this ahead of time, while walking in one other previous time one year before, just to purchase a cannoli for my daughter. Never again will I eat here. BE WARNED!
