The pizza is really greasy and we got constipated I hope they use fresh ingredients because my husband and I got sick.

The family and I were out shopping and decided to stop here for dinner. The wait staff was very attentive and we received our food in a timely manner. My son ordered a medium pepperoni pizza. The size was great, but the pizza was not good. The crust was paper thin and bland. I ordered chicken parmesan. It was seasoned very well but the chicken was rubbery. My husband ordered a calzone and wings and they were perfect. The breading and seasoning on both was on point. If we are in the mood for chicken wings and/or calzones in the future, we'll definitely dine here. read more

I was extremely dissatisfied when I went to pick up my online order. This store has a policy that when someone places an online order and picks it up they have to present their ID. This store then proceeds to write down the ID number. The instructions on the online order confirmation said that I did not need to present the order number to pick up the pizza. I have no interest in giving my personal information to a store in exchange for a pizza. This shows a lack of trust in the community that this restaurant serves (a predominantly black and brown community). I just left this location, I must say, I was pleased ten times over. My server Mary F (name on the ticket) was AWESOME. She was so friendly and polite, she didn't over do it with checking on my table. The food came quick and was delicious (For this, i ate entirely tooo much). I recently visited this Ledo's Pizza restaurant and found it much improved. Dining in was comfortable and pleasant and the pizza and salad was delicious and fresh. Now those dining in order at the counter and then your meal is delivered to your table, hot and fresh. The wait staff is friendly and helpful; one waitress has been there for many years. Don't go here. Terrible service and very unprofessional. I placed an order an hour before going to pick it up. The young lady took my name and phone number to register the order. I arrive to get my food and the cashier tells me they don't have my order in their system. Outraged, I ask how's that possible. They tell me I probably called the wrong location. That is until I show them my call log on my phone. They then call the only young lady working there over to discuss and she catches a big attitude denying she took my call and gets defensive saying it's not her fault. They offer to make my pizza in 10 minutes, but I didn't feel like giving that location any of my money. Call me crazy. Make sure your order is entered in the system when you call. read more

I call ahead because the last time my salad took about fifteen minutes while I waited uncomfortably in one of the five chairs that are placed too close together for adults to sit in. The lettuce was fresh though the chicken left much to be desired, I hadn't remembered it as being mechanically separated. This time the greens where fresh and crisp though the Italian Salad apparently comes with one slice of salami, one slice of peperoni and one slice cheese. So a bit disappointing and the service was ... I don't want to say rude but they were short with customers and gave me glaring looks for not tipping them. Besides I used my gas and energy to get there, they didn't do much to earn a tip other than try to be a bit more appreciative that people are still willing to pay for your services. Terrible customer service. We called 20 mins before they were closing and they told us to come in, we get there 5 mins before they were closing and they said the kitchen was closed. We told the gentleman if you would've took our order over the phone we would've made it before you closed he says "you're right but we are closed". This is my neighborhood Ledo's and I will not be going back to this location again. Customer service needs major improvement! I called in an order and the employee taking the order had a hard time understanding my order. I ordered a chicken gyro and when I got home I realized that they gave me a lamb gyro. When I took it back they were rude when I asked for a refund and my correct order to compensate me for my inconvenience of having to drive back to the store. After some back and fourth I decided to just get a refund and not return to this location again. read more

No good. Ledos has great pizza but this location is not up to par with the brand name. When I order a small pizza the crust is so thin the sauce soaks through the crust and wets the box. When I commented on the need for more crust the cashier reminded me that Ledos is thin crust pizza. I am trying to watch my weight and eat healthy, so I only order pizza very sparingly. It's sort of an event since I don't get it very often. I've heard about Ledo pizza, how it's a DC institution, how it's so great, and so on, so I decided to give it a shot. Ugh. How did this pizza ever become so famous? It's disgusting. Pizza's a pretty personal thing, with everyone liking a different style, but Ledo's is bad. The pizzas are very sweet, and the crust is soggy in the center and cracker-like on the edges. I can appreciate a well done thin crust pizza, but Ledo's honestly tastes like a reject from the grocery store's freezer aisle. Finally - square cut pizza? What's the point? It's hugely messy to eat any of the center pieces because you don't have any crust to grab onto (not that it matters, since the pizza's so greasy that the crust is soaked all the way through). As far as this individual restaurant goes, service wasn't bad, but wasn't great either. I called ahead to place my order and the pizza was ready for pickup when I got there. But you could tell that the staff wasn't terribly motivated - a few of them standing around up front while a bunch of customers waited. The girl who rang me up seemed like she would rather be texting on her phone instead of helping customers. However, I was in and out of there in a jiffy and my pizza was hot and ready. Dunno, but I won't be back. Wish I hadn't wasted my cheat day pizza on Ledo's. There's plenty of other good to great pizza places that I'd rather eat when I am in the mood for pizza; even Pizza Hut/Dominos is better than this. read more

I've been to this location twice and the pizza is okay--I'm bias because I'm a Brooklyn native and I know pizza, real pizza. It would be real hard to wow me but it isn't terrible. The crust is thin but they kinda od'd on the tomato sauce. I ordered the Ledo style Margherita pizza for my bf (he really liked it) and I. I've only had that kind of pizza--as a matter of fact, I've never tried their other menu items. He tried asking for Ledo sauce but they tossed it out (they were closing). The employee also said that it's an additional .50 cents. Now, I don't know if this is the case with the other Ledo franchises but this one seems to charge for everything, including ice (.35 cents). The service is blah (nothing really friendly about the staff)--the first time my bf and I came in, the manager (I think) was trying to push a pepperoni pizza on us but my bf doesn't eat pork. Perhaps they made the wrong pizza and now they wanted someone else to buy it--they tried selling it to several customers (I don't think anyone bought it). I'd come here if you are in a pinch and need to get some food. I will say that it is better than pizza hut. read more

We used to go to this Ledo Pizza for many years when we still lived in Largo. The service and food were always good. I would order my favorite Chicken Alfredo pasta, and the waiter (I think he was also the manager) would remember it, so he would ask me next time if I wanted Chicken Alfredo pasta. Food was always cooked well. We have had their buffalo chicken pizza, salad and sandwiches as well. At times, the place would be understaffed or very busy (for graduation or other events). However, we always got our food (dine-in) on time. The only thing to watch out for is other customers stealing and pocketing the tip, if you tip in cash. Before you leave, make sure you hand the tip amount to the waiter. read more

I went to the Ledo's pizza in Largo, MD as I tend to frequent there at least once or twice a month for the last year now. Two days ago, Nov 9, 2014, I called in a carry-out order at 4:52 pm. They said it would take 15-20 min to be ready. I went to pick up my pizza and the pizza did not have the items that I ordered which was ham precooked bacon and chicken. There was no chicken on the pizza instead there were pineapples. I looked at the pizza and informed the manager it wasn't what I ordered. He took the pizza away and said he would make another one with chicken. He told me the new pizza will be 7 more minutes to cook. I waited over 10 minutes for the pizza. While waiting, I asked him is there any type of compensation for my pizza order being incorrect and having to wait almost over an hour for the pizza to be ready because at this point it is now 5:45pm. He said, I can give you a soda. I said no thank you. He then began to throw insults by saying "I can give you some napkins and started laughing." I said "excuse me...!" Then I said "what you won't do is insult me and what you will do is give me back my money and believe me, I will never come to this ledo's pizza ever again in my life. I proceeded to tell him that I come here all the time and give them business and if this is how he's going to treat his customers he will never get my business again. I then told him, good customer service is the Bethesda Ledo's pizza on River Road, because they would've given me the pizza for free, given me my next pizza for free and given me the pizza that they messed up on. The manager Arif Uddin is extremely rude and disrespectful. All of his employees were shaking their heads in disbelief of the manager's behavior. They couldn't believe he was acting this way. He then said I could give you 20% off the next pizza. I said the pizza is $21 and you mean to tell me that you cannot give me compensation for a free pizza. Or for the next time I order? I said give me my money back and that's all I want and he apologized for the insult saying he was playing, but the damage was done and I told him I don't play games with people I do business with. I will never go to the Ledo's pizza in Largo ever again. I will be escalating my complaint to the Ledo's corporate company. I will be posting my complaint on every possible website that you can make a complaint on and I will be taking my business to the Ledo's in Glen Dale, MD This place gets NO stars from me because the manager is a HORRIBLE example to his establishment and employees. The only reason it got one star is because you're forced to give a star. I wouldn't give this manager the spit out of my mouth if his ass was on fire. Rude is an understatement for what this man was and the fact that his employees were coming out of the kitchen and the other customers were witnessing the bullshit he should be out of business ASAP. I went in to have lunch with a friend and ordered a cheese pizza and a side salad . When my pizza came it had a long string of hair in it!!!!!!! After requesting for the owner he stated that he would reimburse me for the pizza however refused to take care of the whole bill which included my friends bill as well . He did however offer an additional 2 dollars off our bills . I went back and fourth with him for 10 mins however he still refused to comply . Ledo's Pizza (Largo, MD) Happy to finally be able to write a good review of a business well deserving. It is so vital that customer service be ideal. Not only does it make the food taste better (most of the time) but it gives you a good feeling that you dropped your bills at a place that appreciates your monetary service! I can say that about this pizza place. I placed an order with a young man, Chad. He was patient, ARTICULATE, and repeated what I order to save the misery of possibly getting it wrong. When i came to pick it up, I recognized his voice as he was helping another patron. And, again, he gave proper eye contact, was patient, pleasant, and THANKED the guy for stopping by! I got my pizza, and he opened it for me and asked was this proper. And thanked me for my service and asked me to come again. I was so impressed by this that I asked to speak to his manager and got to talk with the owner instead. The service at the Campus Way location is sub par and unacceptable. I placed an order using the new "online" service and they did not prepare it on time or correct. I didn't noticed that my order was incorrect until I got home. Needless to say I was fuming when I had to return to the store to get a refund. Not quite sure what all the negative reviews are about. Glad we ignored them and came here anyway. We were in the area for a basketball tournament and were looking to grab pizza after the day's games were over. Called to inquire about hours and the woman answering the phone was so nice. She told us upfront that, although they close at 11:00 PM, they don't take orders after 10:30 PM. When we arrived, they were busy with take-out orders and there were a few tables taken with customers. We were told we could seat ourselves, which we did. The waiter was very friendly and took our order almost immediately. Our pizza came out quickly and it was DELICIOUS!! It is not your traditional, round, New York-style pizza but they don't advertise it as such. All 5 members of my family had different 8" pizzas and every single one tasted very good. There were 2 waiters working that evening and bother went out of their way to make sure we were happy with the food and our overall dining experience. Our only complaint is that they didn't serve beer but that's just personal preference. We still enjoyed our visit. If we lived in the area, we would frequent this establishment. We would definitely recommend Ledo's to others. read more

Last time going to this place!! I phoned in my order and requested LIGHT cheese pizza. When I get there the pizza is LOADED with cheese. I tell the guy showing me my pizza that this is not a light pizza. Instead of "the customer is always right", he shows me that the slip says light. I shared that its good it was written but the pizza was not light. He goes to the back then comes out and says it will be another 20 minutes. No apology for the error or my time. The pizza is great. I wouldn't suggest ordering anything else but that's because I have tried them. I usually get take out and over the phone there is so much noise in the restaurant I can barely hear the kid talking. Service is ok but I always get take out. I have been a fan of Ledos for years. When this location opened I was overjoyed. However, I am changing my mind concerning this location, I will never eat at this Ledos location. This time I ordered a medium pizza and two steak and cheese subs. after I arrived home I realized my order was wrong, I was given the medium pizza but had two chicken fettuccine pasta with broccoli. Called and was told I could come and get my steak and cheese subs. Told them I would come the following day. When I returned to get my subs, the "manager" not the same person that waited on me before asked me where was the two incorrect pastas. As if I was lying. I have spent quite a bit of money at this location since they opened and I was offended. I went home and bought the two pasta dishes back and told them I would not eat here again. I visited Ledo's on Thursday, November 12th. The pizza deserves a 3 star rating but the the staff is so rude and dismissive that I have to give it 2 stars. I am acknowledged promptly upon my arrival at the counter, but I am soon abandoned. After I try to make it clear to the cashier that I am ready to order, she continues to ignore me for several minutes. Some girl finally takes pity on me and takes my order. While I wait for my food, I observe the manager /owner speak to a young African American male customer dismissively and rudely. The young man had questions regarding the cost of the pizza and gratuity. The cashier, ignoring all rules of decorum, stated loudly: "He doesn't want to pay the tip!!!!"" The manager summarily redirects the young man back to his dining seat without even bothering to address his concerns. I observed another exchange between the staff and a customer where the customer wanted to exchange salad dressing and the cashier kept insisting it would cost extra. "Why?" the befuddled customer wondered. Why indeed. Granted, options are limited in that neck of the woods. But still, we deserve better. read more
