The service was great, seated immediately, drink orders taken in less than a minute, and the waitress checked up on us. Definitely an A plus. The restaurant was clean and appealing with a nice vibe. The Pizza was good if you like thin crust pizza. The price was great. I will most likely eat here again.

Terrible!!!

Still an amazing place to get food locally. Great prices and good portion sizes. They had a recent…read morestaff turnover but were able to maintain consistency and quality of service, which speaks volumes to the management ability! Begin with the salad. Everyone enjoyed the salad dressing, and the salad was a nice starter. Not a huge amount but enough. The bread was disappointing. Was not made inhouse, otherwise, I'd change as it tastes mass produced. Slightly overdone, too. Buttering the bread, while nice, did not help with flavor. I would prefer a separate container with the butter to butter the bread. The bread was average. The seafood alfredo was very nice. I enjoyed the large portion I received. The only drawback on the homemade fettuccine is it was slightly undercooked. Not al dente, undercooked. I can forgive it as it was good. The crabcake was also good and everyone who had it or sampled raved about it. The potatoes that came with that dish were meh. I wasn't a fan of them when I got to try one. The seafood platter was well liked. One side dish was butternut squash that everyone sampled and enjoyed. This place is worth visiting with service like we received and the food.

Castiglia's Italian Restaurant & Pizza - LOVE that the dressings come on the side in a metal boat (not plastic cups - classy).

We were on vacation and had a craving for Italian. Thanks to Yelp for finding this for us (which is…read morewhy I love Yelp!). First I have to give a shout out to our server Ashley! She was amazing. We were there for a late lunch (maybe could be considered an early dinner) and she was the only server on the floor. There were 4-5 tables the whole time we were there. Ashley handled it like the pro I am sure she is. Every table taken care of and checked on, every drink refilled promptly, every table's meal timed PERFECTLY. I was a server for years and I know it's a juggling act to time your tickets. Ashley was flawless. That being said, we ordered Caprese, because if it is on the menu, I am ordering it. Super smart that they are still using Roma tomatoes this early in the season. That means they know quality. So many places just stick with the beefsteak, or whatever big ones they can get without caring about what is in season (so the tomatoes are mealy). Spoiler alert, the larger tomatoes aren't quite there yet. If you care about quality, you are serving Romas right now. They are the most flavorful. This place makes their own fresh mozzarella (scroll through all the food pics), and it shows. Great start to the meal! Our meals came with side salads - Hubby had the Cesar, as always and I had the house. Not sure if they make their dressings in house, but it sure tasted like it. I loved the extra touch of the dressing coming out in a little metal boat so you can add as much or as little as you want. And yeah, the boat. How many places bring your dressing on the side in little plastic containers? Most of them. So this impressed me. The bread - oh the bread is super good, as well! It was warm and came with a yummy garlic butter already slathered on. I did hear from another table asking that plain butter is also available, but the garlic butter is worth it if you are a garlic lover. Hubby's Manicotti was well done. A decent amount of ricotta on the inside and the sauce was really good - not too sweet, not too acid. This is a big thing to mention, as I didn't taste it. That came from Hubby and he usually doesn't comment like that. My spaghetti with garlic and oil was very good, but there was SO MUCH of it! They could easily cut that amount in half (or more) and save some good cost. The place is clean, so are the bathrooms. We would definitely return when in the area again!

The service was great! They were nice and welcoming. I had the chicken cacciatore with the house salad. First of all the portion was huge! Definitely enough to share or have lunch the next day. The cacciatore was delicious! The bread was delicious as well. From the salad to the pasta dish, the ingredients were very fresh. Definitely stop in when you're in the area.
