I went here looking for temporary work some time ago, and let's just say that they left a bad taste in my mouth. After giving them my credentials, and the specifics of what kind of work I was looking for, I was told that their agents would be contacting me with appropriate job openings. Well, they contacted me, but with jobs that were not only not what I was looking for, but that were way, WAY below my qualifications and pay grade. I mean, I have a graduate degree, and one of the jobs I was offered was (I kid you not) working in a factory that stamps out the colored foil that goes around potted plants! But that wasn't the worst of it. A few months later, my "contact person" at Leddy called me up at home, and the conversation went like this: "Hi J., this is *so-and-so.* I just wanted to let you know that I'm not working at Leddy Group anymore, but on my way out, I grabbed your client file and a few others, and I'm gonna use them to start my own temp business. Call me!" Can you say shady? Needless to say, that was the last that Leddy group will ever see or hear from me. read more

So I applied for jobs in 2012 and got an email from a recruiter at Leddy Group. We worked back and forth to set up a phone interview via email and I waited on her call. When it didn't come I called the office to see if she got "tied up" with someone else and to reschedule. Left a message for her no return call. Fast forward to yesterday I am still looking for employment and I was informed that I cannot have the jobs I qualify for that they have available because I missed a phone interview. Wait. What?!?! Yes I have to wait until September of next year. Well after 2 years of searching whats another right? Seriously unprofessional to not call potential workers, not return calls then blame them when you make an error. read more

I was able to find a wonderful position through their site that suited my skill set perfectly. It was not in my area but I was able to relocate, so I sent them a message about the position directly. They called me back and left a message. The next day I returned the call and they completely forgot about everything. First, they say that since I'm not in their current area there's nothing they can do. It doesn't matter that I would gladly relocate and be able to drive there to do an interview (2 hours away). I was put on hold for an unholy amount of time so they could ramble about this and that without even acknowledging that I knew exactly what position I wanted and was able to get there without hassle. Just don't bother calling. After a relocation, I gave them another try yesterday and got a call back asking me about previous work. Since I recently graduated, I have only had the opportunity to stay at jobs over the summer or very briefly during the school year. After the initial questioning, the woman said that their clients prefer a person capable of remaining at a job. I felt quite insulted since I had returned to the same two summer jobs year after year and each employer was happy to have me back. It took quite an effort, but I managed to explain this to her. Finally, she agreed to keep me on file and contact me with a suitable position if it becomes available. I sincerely doubt I would accept any position through them, and I'd advise others to stay away. read more

This place is terrible. My mom has a B.A. with honors from Harvard University, over 10 years experience, and great references. She got laid off and went there to apply for work. They set her up for a phone interview. However, she was in a car accident (not her fault) after she took me to school and did not get home in time for the call. She called them a few hours later and explained what happened. They said they didn't care and that because she missed the phone interview for no good reason, she would not be considered for a position with them ever again and would be permanently blacklisted at all of their clients. My mom has not found a job in over two years now. She thinks it's because this company spread lies about her all over the area. It sucks because we have to live on welfare now. read more

Do not use this company, they are shady sending people to jobs that are not really hiring. Then they send you to jobs way below what you request for pay. When calling the office they put you on hold for 20 minutes or more. Visiting their office means along wait. Excuse my time is valuable, I don't have time to wait 30 minutes or more in your office. Please use Adecco they are much better this shady company. read more

I received administrative assignments from Leddy Group that were usually several months in duration. My work was always rated as top notch by their clients, and accordingly they treated me with courtesy and repeatedly dispatched me to jobs. That is, until I had a personality clash with one of the individuals I was sent to work for, who terminated the assignment prematurely after I had been there for 11 weeks. Despite my previous record of good work and Leddy Group's assurances of support as the situation with the client deteriorated, they dropped me immediately afterwards, telling me they would "no longer be a resource" for me, meaning that they would be offering me no further work. They had absolutely no interest in my side of the story, despite my having told them over the course of the engagement that the client was acting unprofessionally and abusively. If you go to work for Leddy Group and run afoul of a client, you are history, no matter what. read more

I applied for a job through them recently. They just called me and said that since I missed an initial phone call with them in September 2013 that they will never work with me and that I should go to other agencies. I am appalled at the lack of professionalism. I missed the initial call time as I was in the hospital, yet they hold that against me? My advice: NEVER use them. Thy want me to use other agencies, then so be it. I have a big mouth and will tell everyone to not use them. Their mistake. read more
