Our new TV is similar to a frame and that it's thin mount flat against the wall and has a picture mode. What started as a simple smart home / entertainment installation turned into a complete disaster. First, communication was poor from the beginning. It took weeks and multiple follow-ups just to get a response and schedule an appointment. When the technician arrived, things quickly went downhill. During the installation process, my media console was scratched and chipped after equipment and devices were carelessly moved around and placed directly on the surface. I documented the damage with photos. Even worse: the installation itself did not work properly. After the failed install, I was approached directly by the technician, Juan, who suggested working "off the books" outside of GetWired Tec to supposedly fix the issue for $125. Trusting that he knew the system and could correct the problems, I agreed and paid him via Zelle after he installed an additional HDMI switch device he recommended I purchase. Within less than 24 hours, my entire entertainment setup began malfunctioning: * Inputs stopped working * Audio started cutting in and out * Devices failed to power on correctly * System reliability completely collapsed My setup was functioning before this service. Now I will have to pay another company potentially hundreds of dollars to diagnose and repair the damage caused by this installation. I reached out repeatedly to Juan asking him to make this right and refund the money I paid him, but my messages were ignored or met with excuses. At this point, I'm seeking reimbursement for: The $125 I paid directly for the failed repair The cost of repairing/reinstalling my system The damage done to my media console I strongly recommend that anyone considering GetWired Tec proceed with caution.
