I purchased a late model used F150 from Lebanon Ford. The sales department made the purchase process very easy, but that is where the positives stop. The truck was not as described when I bought it. I was told that the truck had been thoroughly inspected, yet, days after the purchase it was obvious that it had not been inspected. I immediately reached out to the sales team, which did correct one of the issues, but since then dealing with Lebanon Ford and their service department has been nothing but a hassle. I have purchased several new vehicles, homes, tractors, boats and much more. Lebanon Ford has been the most frustrating to deal with after the sale. Based on my after the sale experience, I will not be a returning customer or recommend anyone to spend their hard earned money with them. I've been a loyal Ford guy, like my family has, for decades. This was by far the worst experience I've ever had at a dealership. My "certified" F150 was delivered with the Check Engine light on and has been at a Ford dealer I trust, for days, being repaired. Misrepresentations on delivery times, rude and manipulative management along with just really poor communication has soured me on the brand almost entirely. Once you walk out their door with your keys, they could care less about you or making things right. I drove 2 hours and spent all that money on a car and they couldn't help me with something simple. My owners manual was missing out of the car and I told the salesman and he said he'd take care of it. But apparently he didn't know what he was talking about. The sales manager Billy didn't care and said he wasn't going to get us one. And then told us we'd have to buy one ourselves. They cost $60 or more and I shouldn't have to spend even more money on something that should've been in the car already. Lebanon Ford recently REFUSED to perform service on My BRAND NEW 2024 F250 with only 900 miles. This Truck has a service bulletin from FORD instructing Dealers to replace the "Dummy HUB" on the passenger front a Functional Hub.. and to add vacuum lines if needed. I spoke with Service Advisor Chad.. then his supervisor Kyle requesting to schedule an appointment to have this work completed..as directed by the FORD TSB. Both Chad and Kyle basically told me to go pound sand and to get lost - they blatantly refused honor the TSB from Ford and complete the work.... I own 5 Fords.. and NEVER will I take one to this low class outfit again. The other local Ford Dealer completed the work.. NO PROBLEMS. STAY AWAY FROM LEBANON FORD!!! read more

When Bryan was on vacation, Brant Benson was also excellent to work with for all the details that needed to be handled in the days just prior to me taking delivery - including providing a suggestion that saved me money on my car insurance. To sum this all up: Lebanon Ford is profit over customer service and/or they are incompetence. I brought my Ford F150 in for an oil change. Picked it up and my hood ajar light was on which has never come on since the day I bought the truck. The salesperson (will not mention names) told me that the wire had come loose and will need replaced. Next morning went to use my auto start to take my son to the bus stop and my auto start would not work. Called the dealership spoke to the same salesperson who told me to bring it back in. When I brought it back in, I received no apology for the inconvenience. I told the salesperson I used the auto start literally right before I brought it in that morning, and I have never had any issues. The salesperson rudely told me that it was not their fault, and they had nothing to do with it. I received a call later that afternoon and the salesperson told me that the line and hood latch needed replaced and that the battery needed replaced because that is what was causing the auto start not to work. I knew the auto start does not work with the hood ajar warning light on, but I asked the salesperson if the warning light had anything to do with the auto start not working and the salesperson told me no. The battery is a DieHard battery that was installed only 1 month prior and is basically brand new. The salesperson quoted me almost $1,000 for the repairs that all happened while my truck was at the dealership. I went home sprayed some lubricant on the spring that connects the hood release, and the hood opened and closed perfectly. The hood ajar warning light turned off and my auto start worked just fine. The dealership's salesperson was rude, took no ownership of the issue but on top of that tried to overcharge me for unnecessary repairs. In fact, they charged me $197.49 just for bringing it back in and having no work completed on it. The charges were for "diagnosing" the battery being at fault, which even an average mechanic would know that the auto start is connected to the hood latch sensor. I own many vehicles and have never received such poor service. My other vehicles are serviced elsewhere but I have always taken my Ford truck to the dealership where I purchased it from. I was planning on buying a new F150 later this year, but this experience has not only made my mind up that I will not be buying anything again from this dealership. I feel sorry for the people who are not necessarily mechanically inclined who fall for this kind of predatory sales tactics. read more

There are a few places to start, in order to explain this rating, but starting from the beginning will likely paint a better picture. I had noticed a Volvo S90 listed on their site, and while the price was slightly above other comparable listings, I assumed it was likely in at least very good condition. I scheduled a time to look at it, and put a deposit down, in order to hold the vehicle. While speaking with the salesman over the phone, he asked how I intended to pay, to which I responded a combination of cash and financing. The next day I came to look at the car, where I immediately noticed the tires were horrible. The rear ones were well past serviceability, the front left was at a different stage of high wear, and the front right was about 18 months old. As many know, with an AWD vehicle, with that many different worn levels, the transfer case can run into serious issues. I took the vehicle on a test drive, with the radio off, in order to identify potential obvious issues. At that time, other than the significant degradation in ride comfort and steering due to the tires, I didn't notice anything glaring, other than a portion of the seat, where the seatbelt connects, sitting on top of the seat. After I returned, there was some back and forth on reattaching the seat piece, which they eventually "fixed" but it ended up coming off due to the fact it was missing pieces. On to the tires, the salesman said "Well it says here the service department recommended new tires, but didn't put it as a requirement, but they are bad, so I will see what I can do." While he was going back and forth with the manager I noticed the sticker on the windshield said all tires were "green" which should have been another red flag. They eventually reduced the price of the car by the lower range estimate of four new tires ($1000). He then asked about financing and payment, to which I replied I was already approved, and had the funding letter in hand. Boy, the change in attitude was physically evident. He became borderline angry I wasn't financing through them, even declaring "You told me you were financing, which means you'd do it here, this changes things." From that point forward, his rudeness was absolutely ridiculous, I finished the rest of the deal with the finance manger, Andrew, who was helpful, as my salesman immediately left me for other customers. Once I got the vehicle home, I noticed half the speakers in the car were blown out. I immediately let the salesman know, to which he said he'd work on it. Needless to say I never heard from him again. I had to call numerous times to speak with other people, who were far more helpful. However, they only agreed to replace one speaker, as they were now "losing money on the car." So, more out of pocket expenses. Then, a few weeks later, I noticed the horn was inoperable, at which point I haven't even bothered with contacting them. I consider myself to have a bit of a car buying problem at times, in that a buy new a bit to frequently, but, that problem has afforded me the opportunity to see the best and worst of the industry, and I can say this buying experience was extremely disappointing. A couple months ago I hit a large pothole and wrecked my right front tire.. While I was disabled on the side of the road I was able to flag over a driver for assistance.. The driver was the son of the Service Manager at Ford of Lebanon.. How perfect is that. He stayed with me to call for roadside assistance on his phone.. He told me the hours of service for the service department. When I arrived the following morning the folks took great care of my situation... The discount amount was even mentioned in the paragraph describing the vehicle. If it was a mistake why was the discount also in the description paragraph?? So here is the deal. Their service department is great. I have to think that their service department is the entire reason this location gets any business at all. I have nothing but praises to sing for the service department. When I call they answer questions and I feel like they do a great quality job doing the maintenance on my vehicle(s). Service department gets 5 Stars overall, (IMO). Their sales department is not so great. I have shopped for cars two times at this dealership and both times were less than desirable. Quite frankly, their sales team will not get a third opportunity to sale me any vehicle, ever. The first time, I was asking about a vehicle, trying to get an idea, a younger dude, red headed, fellow bluntly stated, that if I was not going to buy that day that they didn't have time for me or time to answer my questions. The bad part is, this guy was training the young lady who was actually the one trying to help me. The second time, a woman was our sales representative. She was super nice, she was courteous, etc. Before having my vehicle looked at for trade in value, I wanted the know the absolute bottom dollar they would be at on the vehicle I was looking at, she came back from her manager, and flatly stated that the advertised price was the lowest and "We're only making $100 at that price." I'm certain that is not truthful, you don't build a big fancy place like that with only making $100 per car. That statement alone is reason enough that I won't shop there again for a new car. I'm not here to tell anyone how to run a business, but if thats the lowest price, just say, this is the price we need to be at to make the money we need to make. No reason to insult people who are trying to spend $50k+ on a car. Service department gets 1 star overall (IMO). read more

These guys definitely know what they're doing. Picked up a 700+ plus HP Mustang from them and drove it 2k miles home to AZ with absolutely no issues whatsoever. I'm sure any place can install a supercharger system but these guys have tons of experience and it certainly shows. Definitely worth the drive to know things were done right. Every person I dealt with from the salesman (Bryan Pence) , finance manager and performance manager were all top notch. The service department needs to have better customer service. I tried to tell the employee that my air conditioner wasn't working correctly. I told him there was warm air circulating when the air conditioning was working. He really wouldn't listen to me. He told me I was using the wrong button. I told him it didn't do that last summer. Additionally, the time before I was there he made the customer in front of me go to the back of the line because she hadn't pulled her car in (I haven't seen any sign with directions to pull in). Then he and the female employee made derogatory remarks about the customer. I will find another dealership for my service. read more

Chandler Wheat is an excellent sales representative and made my out-of-state purchase of a 2019 Mustang Bullitt painless and smooth. He is also a car enthusiast who knows his products. Staff unable to explain issues with car and only solution was to replace with a brand new engine. Stated that they could not put in a more cost effective refurbished engine because it would have the same quality issue as before. When I inquired as to how they could ensure my safety with a new engine when the previous one (only 3 years old) had coolant in the cylinder, they told me that Ford made the new engine "better". Unfortunately, will likely have to buy another car. I work as a traveling Occupational Therapist for special needs kids and have a toddler that is 2 and a half so cannot take chances with safety. read more

I don't have a problem with the sales department ( new /used). The people in the sales department have aways been fair and tried to help. The service department is totally different. Hands down the word service should not be in the title. With an on going problem (just shy of 2 years). Over the two years I have been told we will fix the problem well that is not the case. I have been told we will call you back did not happen. I have been told it is this part (2 different times) so I paid for the parts. Well that did not work. I was told we need to run diagnostics to find the problem bring it in when it is doing it. I drove the truck to them when it was doing it. I was told they needed to keep it to fix the problem. Did not happen. At one point the truck was at the "service " department for three weeks. In the three week stay no one called me to keep me up on what was going on. They did provide me with a vehicle o drive. No way they worked on it that long. After getting the truck back the problem was not fixed. I called Ford to let them know the problem was not fixed and the truck was about to go out of warranty. They extended the warranty on the problem. The truck was in and out several more times with the same results. December 2018 I called the"service" department and was told I could not get in till after the first of the year. Took the truck in and for the first time there was a loaner vehicle waiting on me. All of the previous times the department has told me we don't have one right now knowing I was coming for one. I always gave days notice so they could line up the loaner. The cherry on top was the time they told me they did not have one and would bring it to me after 1pm. I told the "service" department that I have to work the weekend and needed something to drive. After 445pm went by (knowing they were closing soon) I called and they were gone. Yes they left me hanging with no call no vehicle and I had to work. I then called the sales department and made contact with the used car manager. He waited till I arrived and loaned me a truck off the used car lot. So to January 2019. They said the truck would not act up bring it back when it dose. I did that today. I was told that I needed to pay for a rental while they had the truck for a day or two. Thinking back to when they had it for 3 weeks earlier and did not fix it how many weeks am I going to be paying for? The truck was under warranty when the problem started and is now out but the same problem is still on going. If they are footing the rental bill at least I have a shot of the working on it. The one star rating I gave was still to high but it was the lowest choice. Wish I would have looked at the ratings on the net before I bought a vehicle from them. read more

I needed a part for my 3 month old 2018 Ford F-350 Platinum that was defective. It was on back order from ford but I was told that this dealer had the part in stock. I called the parts department and they told me they had it in stock. When I explained I was from out of town and would have my dealer call them to get it they said they couldn't ship it. I went back and forth with them and got 3 different reasons they they couldn't ship it out. It was just a module. I bought a car here 54 days ago. Lebanon Ford has yet to send me a title. I have called 4 times about this. The first three I was told that it would arrive in 30 to 45 days unapologetically. I understood, and waited for the title to arrive. It has not and my temp tags expired 8 days ago. Last week, I called and ask what the status of my title was and was told that the person managing that department was one for the weekend, ok... I called on a Friday afternoon, but that was 50 days late. On Monday, I spoke with someone at noon about next day airing that to me so I was not driving illegally. I was assured that it would be here today, to the point that took off two hours early to get my plates finally. The title never arrived. This is my first complaint ever on any app. DO NOT PURCHASE A CAR HERE. They do not do what say they will!!! All of the service employees are very courteous and go out of their way to make sure that you are comfortable while you wait. Lebanon Ford performed a brake job on my 2009 Edge that included the replacement of all (4) rotors. Two months later I get a flat tire and due to the over torquing of the lug nuts I could not remove the tire with a lug wrench. I find it unacceptable that an authorized Ford dealer would not be capable to torquing lug nuts to the spec of 100 ft lbs. Not to mention the risk or warping the rotors or tires falling off due to lug nuts shearing off when moving. I recommend anyone getting tires or work requiring tires being removed / installed at Lebanon Ford check to see if you can loosen the lug nuts with your lug wrench. If over torqued at minimum you risk not being able to remove a tire yourself in the event you have a flat while traveling. Unfortunately this 240 lb middle aged male has been there. read more

This is the reason for two new purchased vehicles in the last six months. I was always a Chevy buyer with GMS discount but they have since changing that. I have never reviewed a car dealer before, and for good reason. I have not had very good experiences with them, and I've purchased many vehicles in my life. It's always about the money and how much they can take from you, and zero about the customer. I bought a used truck as-is/no warranty, and had some major issues in the first month of ownership. Every other dealer would have sent me on my way, but they made everything right, at a very large expense to them, and did not charge me a dime. Lebanon Ford is always willing to help, the sales team does not pressure you to buy, the prices are clearly marked and have not been marked up to then be marked down again so it looks like there is a sale. When I bought my new Ford they even detailed the car after I test drove it cleaning out the mud and rocks I had personally drug into the car on the rainy day I was test driving. I don't think most dealerships would have washed the car when it was raining as hard as it was. Not only that but they had a younger employee show me how to connect my phone and how to use all the features in the car, spending more time with me so I really understood how to use "Sync" it was nice to not just be handed the keys and shown the door. I haven't used the service department yet but from the other reviews I think it might be better to call and verify with someone at the dealership verses making the appointment blindly online. Maybe they will update the software they use when they remodel, the new plans are on the wall in the showroom. I wouldn't go to any other food in the tri-state area! read more
