I felt that this was very unreasonable and illegal, but because I really need insurance for my house therefore I agreed to purchase both policy home and auto together. When my house was sold I called back and emailed this agency to cancel my policy but they never respond. After 10 days of tried to cancel policy I called back to make sure my policy was canceled but Daniel responded to me with a harsh attitude and didn't let me cancel. She asked me to show my final closing cost to prove that my house had been sold. Is this reasonable or not? This document is my private document and why do I need to show them or prove them in order to cancel the policy? Can customers just cancel the policy when they don't like the service or they are no longer need? It doesn't make any sense for me and I know they just want my money.. I would give them Negative star if Yelp have this option. Don't go to them because they are a hungry money and bad customer service.

In Jun 2024, another payment was missed by accident (the payment didnt go thru with the bank). We got the call from BNS about it today, and that we needed to pay in full. I spoke to the representatives and Cassandra; who said there was nothing that can be done. Pay now, or make a payment before Jul 26, then another before the policy ends and then, we could see if the upcoming policy can be monthly payment again I get there were two missed payments, but the total disregard to take into consideration our situation, left me appalled. Not a care that due to me still recovering from a heart attack and a stroke, we have medicals bills and our kid was graduating. They were missed by accident, and like I told Cassandra, I would make the due amount payment today to show it was an honest mistake. All other insurances in the past have been helpful. Cassandra wouldnt let me talk to anyone above her, even after asking numerous times and finding online who the owner is. "He's not in" was the answer. I get a lot of people try to scam and get away with stuff. I also understand that they must be dealing with nasty customers all the time, so it's not an easy job for them. In the end I decided to just pay in full ( which is a sizeable amount), but now I have to figure out how to make arrangements and plan ahead for other upcoming bills since I used that money to pay BNS. Do your full research before deciding to go with them.

They said ok and hung up. Now I get a collection for $103.29 for service I didnt use. I was told I could pay monthly. The little trick they use is to bill you for the whole period so they get paid even when you aren't using their service. I wont deal with the agent again and recommend you don't either.
