The first time I was buying a house and feared my credit union would not actually be able to finish my loan in time to close. Matt stepped in with a short time remaining and had everything ready to go for me to close on time. The second time I was refinancing my home and Matt was once again responsive and knowledgeable about the subject, he also secured me rates better than those offered by other sources. The third time was buying another house, and this time he once again had fantastic rates and met every deadline to ensure a smooth close of escrow. I can't say enough good things about Matt; buying a home can be stressful and he takes the stress right out of financing!

Prices have climbed so fast that it seemed impossible to get back into the San Diego real estate market. But then..... 2021 My fantastic realtor, Julie Adams, found me a great condo in Pacific Beach and brought Matt onboard to work out the financing. Honestly, I was skeptical he'd have a loan product for me. But he DID! Matt is so knowledgeable: The sale of my out of state condo, all kinds of lender hoops to jump through, complicated rules to complete AND guidance on configuring my hefty down payment. Through it all Matt was so patient, sticking with me, ushering me through the complicated process. I'm forever grateful to Matt Brumfield for taking on my challenge. I can't say enough great things about him, his knowledge, work ethic & seemingly endless patience. A HUGE thank you, Matt & your entire team, which includes Heritage Escrow Company.

In life... you know when you are growing up.... (I…read morechoose to say growing up rather than getting older) when you have a ledger portfolio thicker than the Bible, containing all your insurance policies, investments and retirement accounts.....Anyways.....grabbing my cane and walker... here goes... I recently got a letter from FEMA, stating that I lived in a flood zone, and FEMA recommended I look into a flood policy and contact my home owner insurance policy; since State Farm holds my Home Owner's Insurance Policy...they whipped me a quote in a New York Minute........ based on all the news of the upcoming El Nino 2015 and California's severe drought.... I was a bit concerned..... the quote was pretty reasonable, and broken down clearly so I could understand it. But since I was in the new office, I decided to ask about some supplemental life insurance and a little bit of retirement savings account education.... annuities, mutual funds, Roth IRA/Traditional etc... (are you asleep yet?)bwahahaha...... I took lots of notes, and what I liked the most, is that I not once felt annoyance from the insurance lady I was talking to, Laurie, with all the questions I was asking (I was there for two hours, no lie)... since she wrote my Homeowners Policy a few years back, I remember she was very thorough and helpful back then....... well looks like much has not changed since I got my last policy (except the new office). In life... I think having some good people in your back pocket, that you can call on at anytime the need or questions arise goes along with having the right insurance agent, pet sitter, auto mechanic, doctor, hair stylist... and the ever so traditional tattoo artist... you get my point right? I can honestly say... This Laurie Hallihan fits perfectly in my back pocket of a great insurance agent and financial adviser in my back pocket.
