Maybe it's because we questioned the $10K "Deposit" they wanted to do the work? We work with multiple vendors and have never before been asked for a "deposit". We have always paid our bills on time. I recently got a letter from FEMA, stating that I lived in a flood zone, and FEMA recommended I look into a flood policy and contact my home owner insurance policy; since State Farm holds my Home Owner's Insurance Policy...they whipped me a quote in a New York Minute........ based on all the news of the upcoming El Nino 2015 and California's severe drought.... I was a bit concerned..... the quote was pretty reasonable, and broken down clearly so I could understand it. But since I was in the new office, I decided to ask about some supplemental life insurance and a little bit of retirement savings account education.... annuities, mutual funds, Roth IRA/Traditional etc... (are you asleep yet?)bwahahaha...... I took lots of notes, and what I liked the most, is that I not once felt annoyance from the insurance lady I was talking to, Laurie, with all the questions I was asking (I was there for two hours, no lie)... since she wrote my Homeowners Policy a few years back, I remember she was very thorough and helpful back then....... well looks like much has not changed since I got my last policy (except the new office).
