He placed a black "bead" of adhesive where the sole meets the upper; looks like the shoes were always supposed to be that way. I still have those shoes, too fancy for every-day wear. Still in perfect shape. A couple years ago I brought a pair of winter boots. Lining at the heel had worn out completely, raw leather exposed. He sewed a patch of suede, firmly secured and wrapped over the top of the boots. Looks great, feels great, much more durable than the original fabric lining. I wear those boots every day in winter; will again this winter.

Their solution was a poor sewing job with extra elastic and stretching them on the machine. RUINED!!! The owner did not budge on the price and was unapologetic. So $300 WASTED. This place was on my way to/from work, so it works for me too given its weekday only hours. Rui was an excellent person to work with as he knew exactly what the issue is, and he has various ways to stress test to ensure any issues are fixed after. The first time he fixed it the issue came back about 3 weeks later, so he fixed it the second time free of charge. He was very knowledgeable about computers, and for issues that he's not familiar with (such as the second time when the shorting issue popped up), he knows where to find information to fix it. Definitely recommend here if you live in the area and need your computer fixed.

Very satisfied with the choice, next was the transfer from my old to new P/C again very satisfied with the quick turnaround and professional service I received from Peter in customer service. I barely ever am able to buy off the rack when it comes to fashion footwear. Between bad knees, bad back, bad ankles and plantar fasciitis, I have some high maintenance foot issues. So when I found an inexpensive low heel that fit my wide feet I snapped them up. Plus, they had a very 18th century feel to them, which I love. Anyhow, I bought them with the intention of taking them to Roger's shoe Repairs to have the heel changed out into a French Heel. I knew this wouldn't be an inexpensive request and that Roger is the best. I finally took them in and he did an amazing job. He said it took him 4 days and he made me custom heels out of stacked leather! He didn't even charge me more than he had originally quoted me! They look and feel great. I can't recommend him enough. We always go to him in film and theatre to have shoe repairs done. He also does custom made shoes! He is located under the Fairmont. (If you are wondering I requested a brown heel on the rust coloured pair) Now I have my wedding shoes! I am so pleased.
