This charming shop in downtown Clinton is combined with Charlie's Cobbler shop so it's all here. If you don't see what you want they will order it for you. Not only did they have a full line of wallets that had every component, but the exteriors were hand painted in a variety of designs. I'd never had a painted wallet before, always opting for simple designs in neutral colors. I really liked the designs and chose one. Alan has an eBags account and ordered it for me. It arrived today and it is beautiful! It holds all my credit cards and most of my museum membership and other assorted cards. I put everything in it and it fits and looks beautiful. I have to stretch out the pen holder so it will hold my fountain pen, which has a thick barrel, but that will happen w/ time. I keep taking it out of my new Sven purse to admire it. Anuschka leather goods are created by the artisans of the Basu Group, Inc, a family owned business since 1988. The mother, Roma, and the son, Bhaskar, create the designs, which are myriad. My most purchased items are jewelry. It was not until recently that I discovered it was a consignment shop. I had quite a few things I wanted to sell and realized I could do it at The Attic. I had a great experience with the consignment process, very simple. I received wonderful one on one attention with my things and any follow up questions I had were quickly answered. The whole staff is super nice and helpful and they play great music in the shop, which always makes for a pleasant shopping or browsing experience. I will continue to patronize The Attic whether I have any consignments or not. It's a terrific place in a fabulous location. Love it there, it has such a great vibe!
