We have been coming to Learning Tree for almost two years and my son has made such amazing improvements with speech and OT! He is speaking a lot more and he is able to tolerate a haircut which was unheard of for us. His OT teacher Ms. KJ really went over and beyond to prepare him for a successful haircut and we are so happy - she even gave him a certificate. Ms Jenn is his speech therapist and she is so sweet and patient with him and always thinking of ways to build his vocabulary. He had a therapist, Ms Leen that was truly amazing in helping us get out of the speech plateau that we had previously hit. The Director Ms Melissa is always available to talk about goals and check in's frequently which makes us feel very supported. The staff all around is so sweet very responsive and accommodating - they are always a text away if there are any changes in either schedule, they also send weekly reminders which is very helpful. My LO officially graduated from Learning Tree yesterday and it was as bittersweet. We started coming a little over a year ago to see a physical therapist help with my LO's walking. I saw leaps and bounds with just once a week sessions. She took her first steps just a couple of months after starting therapy and after she started walking the therapists began focusing on her balance and helping achieve her gross motor milestones. I found everyone we encountered at Learning Tree to be friendly and caring. Miss Lorena at the front desk always had a bright smile on her face. The times we saw Miss Monique she was always stop to chat and I was pleasantly surprised she remembered my daughter's name amongst all the other kids. Our therapists were all amazing and very experienced. I use plural because we did have a bit of a turnaround in the year but our sessions were never disrupted. Our second therapist trained with our first (who happened to be moving back to the East Coast) so it was a smooth transition. After our second therapist left the group we missed one session before meeting our last therapist Miss Stephanie. Miss Stephanie is wonderful and she was a real advocate for my daughter. She also made sure any missed sessions were rescheduled. It's bittersweet because the sessions were fun and challenging so we'll miss the activities and the people but I am very happy that I will not be struggling to be on time with a toddler in tow. Since we already finished our therapies I can say this review is not paid for nor sponsored by Learning Tree and i will not be receiving a gift card for it. We have had a great experience with learning tree! Our daughter began speech therapy in 2021 without being able to communicate with words or sign language, only pointing to things she wanted. The therapists we have worked with (specifically Ms Angie, Ms April, and Ms Yasmin) have been patient and supportive at modeling sign language, words, and now phrases to encourage our daughter to communicate her needs. She has come a long way from where she started and we are very thankful to the team. read more

My 2 year old son LOVES his OT Ms. Kaela!! She is the BEST! She loves her job and it shows every minute of every session. Started speech therapy services, with my 21 month old, on January 2024. When we started, my toddler only spoke 3 words and signed 3 words. Fast forward to now, almost 7 months later, and my toddler is able to communicate so much more. It's still progressing, but the services provided by Learning Tree are definitely the ones to thank. My insurance and PCM sent over an authorization for my son for OT and PT. I called on a Friday and the gentleman said he didn't see it but had to follow up with another person and would call back on Monday, well Monday came and no call so I waited till Thursday and called back and happened to get the same guy and called him out, he apologized and said he hadn't heard anything from his other colleague and would follow up; well another week had passed and still no phone call which is now having me question is this a place I want to take my kid? Is this normal for them to handle new clients? I would say if they are just at capacity which is understandable then tell the customer vice leading them on a phone call waiting game. It is very unprofessional and not a way to address potential clients - it sounds like they are good once your in the door but it is obvious they put you through one heck of a voyage to get there which when it comes to taking care of your children who are on the spectrum and need these services, time is not something you can't afford to waste on someone telling you they will call back and never do. read more

We bring our son here every week for Occupational Therapy. Like other Kaiser patients, we were referred to Learning Tree. Mr. Cole has been phenomenal with our son. I feel that we get individualized care from this center. I was hesitant at first because I wasn't sure if he needed the help or not just yet but I am glad we decided to come because this place is great! Was referred by Kaiser to come here and bring my child who needs help with speech and occupational therapy but it has been the biggest regret of our lives!!! Was given a call on Thursday February 27th by someone in charge to notify us our son was disrupting an occupational therapy session of another child and a PARENT WAS concerned, however the following day we received yet another call to tell us that the therapist was the one who had complained. Both my wife and I decided to call out this individual on the phone and she tried to recant all her statements. Learning Tree has such great reviews because they will give families $5 as long as you leave them a good review they have that posted all over their facility but in all reality this place is TRASH and that's why they bribe you to leave those reviews. This place was discriminatory towards my sons needs EXCLUDING his occupational therapist and speech therapist who are AWESOME but can't say the same for it's the individual who we spoke on the phone with very RUDE, ARROGANT AND WHAT IS MORE CONCERNING SHE SOUNDED VERY INCOMPETENT TO CHILDRENS SPECIAL NEEDS. Both my wife and I have already consulted with an attorney and will be taking legal actions towards this facilities discriminatory behavior along with reporting them to the BBB AND to Kaiser So that no other parent brings their child to this HORRIBLE place who puts profits first over kids needs. I bring my son two times per week for speech therapy, I've been seeing so much more vocabulary on him, he is also more interactive than before he loves to try to talk more and more. I love both of the therapists Ms. Roxy and Ms. Susana they are super friendly and professional, personal in general are friendly once you've received you feel yourself like home. I would like to start by saying the office manager is not equipped to handle or have any understanding of kids with needs which is sad because I have no issue with my sons therapists. With that being it's sad to say that the connection/ effort my son has put in will have to be done all over again. For the record I have emailed and called to leave messages to have someone oversee this situation with the hopes of resolving issues at hand and have yet to receive a response or curtesy call to explain even if I didn't like response that this is policy I at least would understand and look elsewhere but this is not the case.
