At least it's poor for potential parents. I cannot comment on communication with parents of children who are currently enrolled, only on the communication for potential families. We originally toured the school a year ago because we heard good things about it through our neighbors. After meeting with the Director, she said she would get back to us on our requested part-time schedule to see if it was doable for our infant.. We never heard back from her, but we assumed it was due to the holidays as it was around December. Then into January, still never heard back from her. We ended up doing in-home care with a nanny instead. Fast-forward to now. I emailed Lily to ask about availability for our now toddler. I asked about availability for this upcoming March for a part-time schedule. She did respond initially and asked for my child's birthday (not sure why as I had told her how old my child would be in March, but not a big deal that she asked). I responded to her email but again, never heard back after that. A few days went by and then I sent her a follow-up email, specifically stating that I had not heard back from her and I am still looking for updates. Crickets. It's now been 14 days since she originally emailed me back. Needless to say, this does not instill trust for me. So instead, we are going to tour the Primrose location down the road. The owner of that facility has been extraordinary with communication.

It's also difficult to find your child at pick up as they are moved around so much. We received pictures of our child's class parked in front of screens watching shows. Daily reports lack any type of detail and overall the school feels chaotic. We were disappointed as we knew others who had great experiences at other Kensington locations. Kensington seems more focused on promoting their growth of additional locations in the city instead of focusing on ensuring their existing locations are running as they should be.

Krystal the director has been wonderful and welcoming to my family and daughter since day 1. We had just moved from Colorado and she made the transition super easy! She is always happily greeting us with any questions or concerns. If she is not in the office we can always count Ms. Laura or Ms. Ally giving our daughter a warm welcome. Ms Donna was my daughter first teacher in the toddler room! She helped us wing away the paci and still greets my daughter with a big hug every morning! (It is such a beautiful sight to see, especially during the mornings when I am rushing to work.) Her current teachers Ms. Mary and Ms. Olivia ABSOLUTE ANGELS! How they manage the kiddos and still make it sooo fun I will never know! I always get photos and updates of my daughter doing fun activities! My daughter feels so safe to come to school and it shows when she is snuggling on her teachers. In such crazy times it is so nice to know that my daughter is safe, happy, and healthy during her school time experience. Thank you for making this nervous mama feel at peace!

The staff there is incredible. They helped me with all my paperwork and every question I had. They even help me with personal problems when I asked for advice. The ladies are amazing and share the same amount of love to each and every child. My son is only two years old, and they have taught him his ABC's, how to count to 10 and all his colors. He has learned every sing-along song and sings them every day on our car ride home. I drive 30 minutes just so my son can go to this Kinder Care. My son and I love it there and all the staff. I highly recommend Saint Charles Kinder Care!

The communication was great, activities well thought out, and facility was warm and welcoming. We loved the big fenced in playground, large bike area and indoor gym! There was a keypad for parents to enter their PIN to unlock entrance. The Director was also around to greet families, help with doors and monitor area. Loved that place. Had referred many to go there, and will continue so.

Miss Pong, the director, has been great. When my first son was there, and I was a nervous mom, she was very kind and reassuring. Miss Melissa took the time to help him out of his shell and encouraged him to have fun with his friends. I knew I was leaving my kids in the best hands. I was very impressed with the education they received. My second son told me all about palindromes! When I asked Miss Anne if I was hearing him correctly, she told me that it was something she told the class, in a very basic way. But he retained that knowledge and now he likes to tell me when it's 11:11 and "that's a palindrome mom!" The facilities are very good, I liked the layout very much. The playground is just the right size for little kids, the fence around it is very reassuring with little kids running all over! I also really appreciated the security of getting into the building. I wish our grammar school had that system. I have a third son, who is too young for the program. I have no doubts where he will be going when it's his turn.

I cannot say enough good things about the staff at Goddard and the impact they have made on not only my life, but my son's as well. The entire staff are caring, compassionate, and true educators/nurturers. The program they have in place to assist with developing learning and language is unmatched in our opinion! Our Son continues to learn so much daily and frequently does not want to leave when we come to pick him up as there are so many fun things for the kids to experience (crafts, various toys, activities, etc). The Teachers are wonderful and genuinely excited to see the kids each day! Also, Ms. Deb, the chef, is wonderful and it always smells delicious when she is cooking for the children! Thank you to everyone at The Goddard School St. Charles you're doing a wonderful job and have made many families immensely comfortable and happy.

I strongly and unequivocally disagree with the statement provided by the school. As a parent, my…read moreconcern is not only valid but supported by the seriousness of what occurred. This matter was significant enough to warrant involvement from DCFS, and a formal case was opened and documented as a violation. That alone directly contradicts any attempt to minimize or dismiss the situation. The claim that there is a "zero-tolerance policy" and that all children are consistently kept in a safe and nurturing environment does not align with my child's experience or the outcome of the investigation. Policies are only meaningful when they are properly enforced, and in this instance, there was a clear failure to uphold the standards that are being publicly promoted. I find it deeply concerning that the response avoids accountability and instead attempts to deflect by not addressing key details. As a parent, I trusted this facility with my child's safety, and that trust was compromised. The fact that this resulted in a documented DCFS violation speaks for itself. I am sharing this not to engage in conflict, but to ensure transparency and to emphasize that this situation was real, serious, and formally recognized by the appropriate authorities. Parents deserve full honesty when it comes to the safety and well-being of their children. CITATION- 407100A3 & 407100A10
