My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day. We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost: - The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM - SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over - Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! - Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) - Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond - A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups - A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" - Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather - Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) - Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty! Our wedding truly wouldn't have been as magical if it were anywhere other than Estate at Eagle Lake. It's truly a hidden gem. We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and I even got some inquiries about the venue from future brides looking for a wedding venue after I was tagged by some of our guests in Facebook pictures! When I called, TC was very understanding and set up an appointment for us to come view the facility and discuss our options immediately. Upon arriving, you will see that The Falls is tucked away in a quiet area of town. You drive under an old tunnel to arrive (which was great for photos BTW!) They recently remodeled the building and the dark hard wood floors and exquisite chandeliers truly make this place so romantic and eloquent. The packages are buildable so they can work with your budget. On our wedding day, TC and his team did a wonderful job making all of our details come true and the food was delicious!! The staff was very accommodating, allowing us to come the day before to set up our decor and centerpieces. They also brought food from the buffet over to my husband and I which was a nice touch. They made sure we always had enough to eat and drink, and they served the food right on time - HOT which is important! Side note - the property is so beautiful for photos! Behind the venue are great photo spots with many woodsy photo areas, the pictures turned out looking like we were in the middle of the forest! More than a month later, we have…read morenot received any request for feedback, so I feel it is important to share our experience for couples considering this venue. Owners: TC and Jessica - TC often made statements and then tried to go back on them; Jessica stated that she did not know what was included in packages and tried to use updated ones instead of the package we booked over a year prior Coordinator: Janet - consistently messed up details despite "noting them in our file" From the beginning, communication was inconsistent. Information on Falls website, Aisle Go (booking platform), and what was discussed in person often conflicted, leaving us unclear about what was actually included in our package. We were also verbally offered upgrades that were later denied because they were not documented. During planning, several details we finalized were repeatedly recorded incorrectly despite multiple corrections. A month before the wedding, I discovered our cake order had not been submitted to the bakery. At our tasting, there was no cake available because the bakery had been given the wrong date. We also learned shortly before the wedding that access to the venue was limited to two hours before the event unless additional fees were paid, a policy that was never disclosed during booking. We also experienced issues with vendors included through Falls. One photographer never responded despite multiple follow-up attempts. With the DJ service, promised deadlines were missed, edited songs were not provided until the morning of our wedding, some edits were incorrect, and ceremony music was mistimed. Unfortunately, many wedding-day details were also wrong despite being discussed repeatedly during planning meetings. These included: * Incorrect chair sash placement * Wrong centerpiece setup * Champagne placed at our sweetheart table despite being offered an alternative * Food and drinks promised during photos that were never provided * Wrong sauce served with pasta * An aisle runner that was never placed * Incorrect dessert table setup * Guestbook table not set up until requested * Incorrect table numbers and seating arrangements that required correction by our wedding party Several guests reported never receiving wedding cake, despite having two tiers available. We were also told leftover desserts and cake would be packed up for us, but that did not occur as promised. When weather forced our ceremony indoors, staff made no effort to protect the floral arrangements we had paid for. Decorations were damaged or went missing, and one item supplied by our florist was never returned. There were also not enough chairs set up for guests at the indoor ceremony. Additional concerns included staff appearing frustrated when questions were raised and multiple guests reporting that the bartender was wearing headphones and talking on the phone while serving drinks. No wedding is perfect, but the number of communication issues, planning errors, and wedding-day mistakes was extremely disappointing. What was most frustrating is that nearly every issue involved the venue or vendors contracted through Falls, while the vendors we hired independently performed exactly as expected. I wish I could leave a more detailed review. I hope future couples or event hosts reconsider using this venue.
