The Estate at Eagle Lake - Love swing!

    The Estate at Eagle Lake

(I'll update my review and add pictures once we get our sneak peek gallery from our photographer…read morethis Saturday!) You know how people talk about that moment you put on a wedding dress, see yourself in the mirror, then think "this is the one"? That's how we felt with Estate at Eagle Lake from the moment we saw it in person! My husband Carlo and I got married at Estate at Eagle Lake on 7/22/2023 and we can't say enough amazing things about the venue and its staff! A huge and extra special shout-out to Brianna - the venue director, day-of coordinator, and for-hire wedding planner! She made our planning process and our actual wedding day absolutely seamless and perfect. She was even so thoughtful in making sure our other vendors were well taken care of and hydrated on our wedding day. We were really trying to "ball on a budget" and we were amazed and thankful with how much we were able to plan our day based on our budget here. Catering and alcohol are separate costs from the venue, so we were able to choose an amazing caterer within our budget from their preferred vendor list and we were able to do a "beer, wine, and signature cocktails" bar instead of a full open bar to save more money. Eagle Lake also includes so many AMAZING amenities in such an affordable cost: - The ENTIRE venue for your event from 7 AM - 11 PM - SO MANY PHOTO OP LOCATIONS including the love swing, sandy beach area with Adirondack chairs and a firepit in the evening, lakeside deck, cobblestone paths, rooftop area overlooking the lake, and plenty of grassy areas with beautiful flower blooms all over - Stadium seating for a lakeside ceremony that is livestreamed by the venue if requested. We opted to do the livestream so that our family in other states and overseas could watch! - Tented reception area with air conditioners and fans (the air conditioners are new as the owner Scott is always looking to make the venue better and more comfortable for all who come!) - Romantic rooftop area for cocktail hour complete with a shaded gazebo, little basketball hoops, and koi pond - A gorgeous bridal suite with 3 full salon setups - A very cool groom's suite with a pool table upstairs that the groom and groomsmen can use while they're "getting ready" - Indoor chapel and cocktail hour space for inclement weather - Photo booth which delivers photos digitally (no print outs) - Golf carts with attendants available to drive you around the venue As if my description isn't dreamy and too-good-to-be-true enough for you to book your next event here, you have to check the website for pictures and book a tour the venue yourself to see its true beauty! Our wedding truly wouldn't have been as magical if it were anywhere other than Estate at Eagle Lake. It's truly a hidden gem. We received SO many compliments from our wedding guests and I even got some inquiries about the venue from future brides looking for a wedding venue after I was tagged by some of our guests in Facebook pictures! If Carlo and I ever plan another big event, we'll absolutely come back to Estate at Eagle Lake with no hesitation and I'd highly recommend it to anyone looking to book a special event :) TIP #1: For those who plan an event here, be sure to tell your guests of the pebble paths and grass so they can wear appropriate footwear. TIP #2: If you haven't booked here yet but are interested, go to an open house so that you can meet some of the preferred vendors and potentially get a discount from them!

Scott, the owner-operator is hands on, passionate about the property, and provides great service to clients, guests, and wedding vendors alike. As a DJ, I was delighted to have my booth located in a real-life bunker and adjacent to an extensive bridal suite that resembles a professional hair salon! Relatively new to the Central NJ wedding scene, couples should take a closer look at this amazing and unique property.

We opted for the $20 drink package for unlimited Mimosas and Bloody Mary's which was a tremendous deal. Rob was attentive to every detail, as always. I think I ate the entire ocean at the raw bar, from shrimp and crabs to claims and oysters. I had 3 helpings. And most importantly, the mothers (my wife and mother) thoroughly enjoyed themselves. Stone Terrace had a "build your own bouquet" station, live music, as well as areas for photos. We will definitely be back for Mother's Day next year.

We followed the signs to find the restaurant and there was plenty of parking right outside. We were seated immediately and I loved the dim lighting in the restaurant, although it was maybe a little strange that there were football games playing on two big screen TVs. I was looking for a more romantic setting for our date night, but it wasn't a huge deal. Our server, Will, did a great job throughout. The table bread was very light and airy, and the olive oil served with it was pretty decent tasting. I got the crab cakes for myself, while my wife got the grouper. The food was prepared reasonably quickly, and it was very tasty! In hindsight, I wish I would have gotten different sides (maybe mashed potatoes versus roasted potatoes, and a different veggie instead of green beans), but that's on me :) The menu online didn't have any prices when I looked, so I can inform you guys that the crab cakes were around $35 and the grouper was something like $30. We ended up finishing with the tiramisu, which was also quite tasty and good for sharing! Also, the wine and beer list was OK - I ended up getting some not-so-great pinot noir by the glass, but nothing too offensive. It did look like they had a pretty well stocked bar, so if you're into cocktails, they could probably make you something interesting. Overall, the food was very good, and I would definitely come back here.

The manager or lady running the building currently gets mad at the customer for things that are wrong with the building. If you are only renting the place and not using any of their extra services they get butt hurt and sit in the corner of your party and watch everything going on, will walk through and watch at door openings like they are part of the party. The bathrooms are too small, you can't open the doors to the bathroom without moving the person washing their hands at the first sink, doors do not lock to stalls. The place overall needs better management, the place is a decent size but without opening that back extra party room they have you can't fit more than 200 safely. If they tell you otherwise they are lying. Find a better, less stressful place for a venue/party these people won't last long here. Only in it for the $$

Our 1st Daughter to get married chose the venue with her fiancé without input from the parents and chose The Falls. Obviously we raised intelligent kids because it was a great choice. The Falls is in an out of the way place in Morrisville,Pa. but don't let that fool you. It's like someone took the absolute best hosts, bartenders, caterers, wait staff, DJ, MC. and photographers and videographers from all the best venues on the East Coast and said " ok start a wedding facility here" The food, the staff the entertainment excellent! The MC and DJ had everyone up and dancing and having fun all night -everyone! Netty who runs the events is a sweetheart and the glue. She was on top of everything making sure every second was perfection. Listen, you book a wedding for the food, for the setting and the entertainment of all your guests and hope it's memorable for everyone who comes. The Falls delivers that. The amazing fireworks display for the new married couple and guests puts an already beautiful evening over the top. A friend of ours who's business has him attending wedding and events for a living said it best " Wow this place knocks it out of the park from the moment you arrive, and the fireworks to cap the evening was the icing on the cake" He ain't lying.
