Failure! My second…read morevisit here ended the same as my first. A total failure! The failure being all mine in that I failed to escape the room I was in. Of course failure in this instance is an accepted result for fun. Our host David, was great in setting up the event and moderating our experience. Our group was setup with the room was closely matched the experience in our group. The tasks involved might have been a little much for the three person group I was in, I'd say a group of four to six is probably best for escaping without help and on time. David informed us of new rooms in progress, including an adult themed crime scene room in the works. There is also a hatchet throwing setup available which I didn't partake in. The costs are fair for the rooms they have. I'd surely be up for another escape (or failure) soon.

My daughter and I loved it so much we will be going back for the six week class. Thank you Rebecca for an amazing experience!!! See you soon!!! Laura Pagan, Sewell

I saw it as a way to just spend some time with my pals. and i was sooooo pleasantly surprised by this experience!!!! Angie (the owner) is so knowledgeable and walks you through the process every step of the way. she's very detail oriented and organized. we were there about two hours and I think it was a great pace. we also had non-alcoholic sparkling drinks and individually wrapped charcuteries (i think it was hillside farms? it was good). it is byob though if you want. I love that you get to take the items home with you the same day and don't have to pick them up later. she also sells a skin care line in the shop, which you get a discount on if you attended the class. overall, I think this was a great value and I'll be telling all my friends.

I hadn't been to a renaissance fair in probably twenty or thirty years, but an acquaintance of mine…read morewas working this fair and posted about it on Facebook, so I decided to bring my girlfriend and 11-year-old son with me for something to do on a Saturday afternoon. I don't have much to compare it to, but all I know is we had a blast! It was raining steadily all day, which did absolutely nothing to dampen the spirits of everyone there. Tons of hardy people were still wandering the grounds, many in incredible and elaborate costumes. Everyone was in such a great mood, it was hard not to be swept up in all of it. The fair was enormous, with something to see and do around every corner. Seven stages with official shows, plenty of games, live animals, a blacksmith demonstration, tons of food, etc. My son particularly loved getting to throw spears and daggers, as well as a free whip lesson. We happily wandered the grounds for several hours and easily forgot about the miserable cold and wet weather. Can't wait for next year!

Maybe it would've been better if the weather was nice but I still think it could've been a better experience - definitely buy your tickets online ahead of time, I bought mine at the door and it was 30 not 25 - plan ahead of time. Apparently they have different acts every weekend and some weekends have celebrity performers. If I knew about this ahead of time I would've gone 2nd weekend and the ticket price would've been worth it - feel free to dress up as extra as you want, honestly seeing all the costumes was my favorite part of the whole experience - food is overpriced as per usual - most of the acts were disappointing but that made have been partially due to the rain - it's mostly a fair for vendors to sell costumes and whatnot

Plenty of parking. The entree was excellent, one of the best I have had at a wedding. Rosemary chicken, short ribs, mashed potatoes and a vegetable. Everything on the plate was delicious. The cocktail was for the lack of a better description was boardwalk food, pizza, sliders, Stromboli, French fries, onion rings, pasta, steak. Nothing was great. The desserts were above par, tasty pastry and cookies. The wedding cake wasn't good. The cocktails weren't great, very light on the alcohol. Solid 3.5 stars possibly better depending on choices.
