Recently I went back and my experience was quite different although the staff is very nice., I also find that they are not knowledgeable about health. I recently had a serious problem because I was told to take. Electrolytes. Unbeknownst to me and it seems to the staff as well electrolytes raise your potassium level sometimes to a dangerous height. Mine went from 4.4 to 6.8 which could cause heart attack, arrhythmia, or stroke. I needed a surgery and my blood test revealed the high potassium level. The only thing I've taken outside of my normal supplements, which were none of Medi Weightloss supplements just vitamins was the electrolyte. My doctor and I discussed it and I have not taken electrolytes for three weeks to bring back my level to normal when I called Medi Weightloss. They didn't seem to know much about this. This to me is very disturbing and also. Dangerous to people's health. I find that when I go, they just weigh me and give me appetite suppressant and do not sit down with me to go over how my week was what I have eaten or how am I doing with my diet. The reason I have gone back to medi weightloss was the previous experience I've had. I strongly suggest anyone going to this program to see their doctors regularly because Medi does not mean medical, and your health could be compromised.

It's been nearly a month I still didn't get my pap smear result. 4. I asked the front desk to transfer my ultrasound order to a different imaging center, it never happened.

When I saw the list of things they measure I knew it would take a lot of different measurements and chemical reactions. Which also means a lot of machines and a lot of money. Oddly enough they stated that the testing only costs less than 40 dollars. As a previous medical laboratory technician, I knew something wasn't right. I asked where do they send it? Oh, it is done in-house. They showed me the machine. It had one single probe, like what can be used to measure pH or electrolytes. They were claiming this machine would give results for all these tests immediately. Amazing! I asked if we run the same sample twice will it produce the same results. The answer was "No if you disturb the sample by measuring it, the next measurement will not be the same." Really, results are not repeatable? At that point, they decided I was not a good candidate because I only needed to lose 10-15 pounds, and their program is designed to help you lose more. I thought a "life-style change" would help everyone. I tried but never got to find out the cost.
