When I first came for my consultation, it took about an hour to get to the Orlando Institute. My reason for reaching out to Dr. Allison Haughton-Green was I gained 20 lbs within a year while working out 4-5 days a week, eating clean and no results. She explained that I had insulin resistance and what that meant. I also explained to Dr. Green that I wanted to take the most natural approach. Calla is personally revolutionary!!! I lost 54 pounds in slightly over 4 months! I eliminated my…read moredepression and anxiety, have explosive energy, forged a promotion at work, am a much better mom, and now have a contagious vigor for life! I decided to try the program because my son was starting Kindergarten and I could never wake up early enough and function all day without a nap. I was also dealing with a lot of depression and anxiety that I have always struggled with, but due to a hitting a low in my life, the mental issues were almost unbearable. Today I am thankful for that "low" because it motivated me to take a step forward toward seeking a better life for myself. I went to Calla hoping to have more energy, but what I got out of my weight loss journey was so much more than that! Prior to Calla I had tried many methods to lose weight without much of a budge. Not seeing results quick enough, receiving too much conflicting information regarding weight loss, and a lack of commitment and accountability held me back before Calla. Upon starting the program, making the necessary life and dietary changes was difficult but manageable and I started losing weight at an amazing rate. The first week I lost 8 pounds, and every week thereafter I think I averaged about 4 pounds loss per week! Shortly after I had begun to solidify healthy habits that ensured my success, I also began to notice all of the positive changes that were happening in my life. The reason I started the program was for energy, and mine became explosive! I actually WANTED to start running again (something I had done many years prior) and I was able to get my son to school on time every day. With the progression of the weight loss, it seemed many other positive changes were progressing in my life as well. I started to notice a significant decrease in the depression and anxiety that I had struggled with for many years and as the months went by, I am happy to report that I BARELY feel anxiety and depression now! With the decrease in the anxiety, my social anxiety issues literally WENT AWAY. I used to be scared to talk to people on the phone.. now I can't wait for my next opportunity to go out and meet other people, and I am trying so many new things that I was scared to do before because of my anxiety and lack of energy. I am now a confident person and that has helped me in my personal relations as well as in my career. I used to be passive at work, and as of a few months ago, I forged myself a promotion! Last but certainly not least, I used to not be able to keep up with my 6-year-old son's energy. He was too much for me to handle at times which made me somewhat complacent, but now I think my stamina forgoes his! Calla was absolutely transformational for me. I am a completely different person today than I was six months ago, and I owe much of that to the wonderful people that work at Calla Slim Spa. I graduated from the program two months ago and have managed to maintain my weight following their maintenance plan. I also now know exactly what it is that causes my body to store fat and how to avoid it. I now value my health tremendously because I know it is integral to my success in life and to my relationships with my son and others. I hope that you are inspired by my story, and want to change your life with the help of Calla Slim Spa! See my before and after here! https://instagram.com/p/BO8j_bhDdTH/

There were no flexible in-house payment options, which made it difficult to move forward with care. The focus on immediate payment or third-party financing made the experience feel more like a financial transaction than a patient-centered on your well being!!!

A Life-Changing Doctor and Team - A Deeply Grateful Review for Dr. Kalidas…read more I don't usually write reviews, but when someone has such a profound and life-changing impact on your life and the lives of your loved ones, it becomes a necessity. My family and I have been under the care of Dr. Kalidas since 2018, through some of the most difficult health challenges we've ever faced. From the very first visit, he showed a level of care, attentiveness, and dedication that is simply rare in today's world. No matter how complex or overwhelming the issue, Dr. Kalidas never gave up on us. He listened with compassion, responded promptly, and guided us with wisdom, patience, and extraordinary kindness. He is not only a gifted holistic doctor but a true healer in every sense of the word. Time and time again, he went above and beyond--taking calls, answering urgent questions, and offering comfort and clarity when we needed it most. His devotion to finding the root cause and the best possible path forward for each of us has brought healing and hope back into our lives. What truly sets Dr. Klidas apart is not just his medical knowledge, but his heart. In my 60 years, I have never encountered a doctor so selfless, so genuinely caring, and so deeply invested in the well-being of his patients. He is truly a God-sent angel for my family. And his staff--every interaction has been met with warmth, professionalism, and quick action. They reflect his values and commitment in every way, making the entire experience feel safe, supported, and deeply human. There are not enough words to express our gratitude. I pray that God blesses Dr. Kalidas and his family with every good thing life can offer, because he truly deserves it all. His kindness, integrity, and unwavering dedication have left an indelible mark on our lives. Thank you, Dr. Kalidas, from the bottom of our hearts. You are the best there is. With deep gratitude, Jfa

After several years of struggling with my weight, working out hard and eating as healthy as I knew…read morehow, I found myself in the obese category. I knew I had to do something drastic and I realized that I was not able to do it on my own. I found Doctor's Weight Control and decided to take a change with the full program for just a month to see how it would go...and something wonderful happened..... The first week I lost 4 pounds and I was thinking okay that's probably water weight. So, the next week I lost 3 pounds again. All I was doing is tracking my food daily, staying within the guidelines I was given for fat grams, drinking the recommended water (no more diet soda) and walking around the neighborhood for about 30 minutes a few days a week. The weight just kept coming off steadily and from August to December 2017 I lost about 30 pounds without feeling like I was killing myself to do it. It feels like a miracle. I still have about 10 more pounds to go to reach my goal and I intend to stick with the full program until I get there. It should be very soon! I added yoga and Zumba to my exercise routine recently and I feel stronger and more fit than I have since I was a teenager. I'm so very thankful to have found something that works after almost giving up on reaching a healthy weight. I had powerful cravings for sweets and the pills they prescribe tone them down to a level that I can resist almost all of the time, which for me is the biggest. I highly recommend this place for anyone who is ready to commit to a healthy lifestyle and get serious about what it takes to make it happen. Throughout my weight loss experience on the program, my motto has been, "Dreams don't work unless you do." If you're looking for a get skinny quick trick, this is not it. Those crash diets and cleanses don't work long-term and any weight lost just comes back and then some. If you're looking for a healthy way to lose the weight and keep it off for life, this is definitely the way to go.

They recommended just lower all around, no review of what was making up her diet. B12 was given. Ok fine. Phentermine was given. It's a dirty little secret, it makes people act differently and sometimes a little crazy. It changes personalities, relationships, libido, marriages, and job performance to name a few. They won't tell you that, it's all over the web. They keep themselves safe by how long phentermine has been approved and how it's still an "approved weight loss drug." Of course it is. Pharmaceutical companies are making /paying huge amounts to ensure that. It's legal speed so of course it works, ever seen an overweight meth head ? Not many right? It's similar, almost identical in chemical structure to amphetamine/methamphetamine. By the way, they don't ask if you're currently on any adderal or Ritalin (amphetamine). They don't check state prescription database. If they do and they have my wife taking phentermine after seeing she was on adderall AND after alcohol rehab, then you be the judge. That's perm brain damage
