I cannot say enough great things about this firm. Our home was literally falling apart. We had…read moretried and tried to contact our builder and it was evident our home was beyond another patch job. Our concern was that when it was time to sell, it would never make it past inspection. We interviewed a couple of law firms that specialize in construction defect and chose Aldrich Eike, PC. This firm is a small local "Boutique" firm that walked us through every single scenario. They were professional, timely, and available to answer all of our questions (we had a ton.) They knew exactly how long the process would take and were pretty spot on. The actual construction was of course a nightmare; they had to rip off the whole front of the house, re-install new windows, siding, and rip up all the concrete, etc. What was found underneath was really, really bad, or I should say, what was no longer there. Horrible. Of course, all of this had to be done before the next rain fall and in between life, kids and my husbands travel schedule. Needless, to say Kevin was professional, available and I have given his name without hesitation to friends and family. Seriously, one of the best attorney situations we have had.

The right thing to do would be to finish out those cases he already committed to, but he will not. He pushed us to another attorney at his firm, Todd Peck, and assured us Todd would finish our legal matter with a contractor dispute. Todd agreed to this at the time. Now, both of them are stepping back, which means we have to start over: find new counsel, pay a new 15k retainer, and redo work that should have already been handled. Throughout the representation, it often felt like corners were being cut, communications weren't fully read, wrong information was shared, and at one point during an active legal crisis, we were told Kevin was unavailable because he was on vacation. In my opinion, this reflects poorly on how much client outcomes were actually prioritized here. Kevin has since transitioned to mediation work, but based on our experience, I would be cautious about trusting him in that role given how this was handled. When we asked for a clear explanation of why Todd could no longer help, we were given an explanation that did not match our own email records. Still, neither attorney has taken accountability for that discrepancy or for not following through on what they had assured us. When you're in a stressful legal situation and looking for strong, professional representation, that is not what we feel we received, and we wanted to share this to help others avoid the same experience.

This is regarding one of their attorneys-Jeffrey Frasier!…read moreWhen my husband first contacted Jeff Frasier about our situation, Jeff told us that "we have a strong case." Based on the information and confidence he provided during that initial phone call, we decided to move forward with him. Unfortunately, we were led on for nearly two years before going to trial. Throughout that time, Jeff repeatedly told us that we would "get something" from the case. He continued contacting us by phone and email asking for additional information about the situation, and we continued being billed for his time. Nearly a year after the lawsuit began, we met with him once to go over what to expect with the arbitration process. As someone with no prior experience suing anyone or dealing with attorneys, I relied heavily on my attorney to properly prepare and guide us. Unfortunately, that meeting left me with even more questions and did not make me feel prepared for what was ahead. Jeff then sent a junior attorney to handle the arbitration. In our experience, she appeared inexperienced and unprofessional. She essentially sat in the room with us during the arbitration, and we were billed for her time and presence, which was very concerning to us. After nearly two years of legal bills, we finally went to trial. Unfortunately, Jeff did not appear prepared or knowledgeable about our case. During the trial, he stumbled through his presentation and became frustrated. At one point, the judge even told him that he was repeating himself. On the second day of trial, the judge issued a directed verdict, meaning the judge ruled in favor of the other side because our side had not presented enough evidence to support our claim. The outcome was extremely devastating, especially after being told at the beginning that we had a "strong case." After nearly two years, substantial legal fees, stress, and time invested in this case, we were left feeling that we had not received the preparation, guidance, or representation we expected from our attorney. In the end, we walked away with absolutely nothing--except huge legal bills. I am sharing our experience because potential clients deserve to hear what our experience was like before deciding whether to hire Jeff Frasier. Based on our experience, we do not recommend him.
