John Chally was very attentive and understanding with my requests in choosing the adoptive family. He was extremely patient with me looking through pamphlets of adoptive family stories. He connected me through phone calls and meetings. I met a family that I liked, after he further researched the family we found that they lied about some things in their portfolio, which crossed their names off my potential list. He had my back and my daughters best interest in mind. Which you need in such a vulnerable situation like this. If it wasn't for him I would have never found the family that I love so much. He went out of his way to find adoptive parents that fit my kind of personality, lifestyle and open views. I couldn't imagine not having used him and this firm, the adoption went as perfect as it could. Every day I am so grateful for the introduction to this adoptive family and their diligence in making sure everything checked out with them. I've seen my daughter once a year, for the last 7 years. Every year I realize more and more, how lucky we all were to have used B&C. I know in regard to the adoptive family, they loved John so much they used him and this firm again, for their second adoption. When it comes to finding a new family for your child, or when it comes time to finding a new child -- it's not about the money. It is about pairing the two together and doing so with sincere care and knowledge. I'll always be in debt to John for opening my eyes and showing me the most perfect family for my daughter that I was not stable enough to raise on my own. He went above and beyond, he was there for anything I needed and for every question that I had.

John is not only an expert in what he does, but he is kind, gracious and has always been very affirming to our nontraditional family. Every single person within this firm has always been amazing, respectful and excellent in what they do. They took a nail biting experience and turned it into a simple process. Shelly also deserves the same high praise. She was always available to help, and if she didn't have the answer she found it for us. There is a reason they have been in business for so many years. We highly recommend them without any reservation!!

Let me start out stating I was referred to Edward Fu, atty. In August of 2014. I had spent the…read moreprior 8 years caring for my very ill mother, while trying to maintain a full-time career, as well as, attempting to prevent myself from racking up a ton of debt in the process. This did not happen, and I was not proud of it. From the first interaction with Edward, I felt at ease. At no point did I feel judged, persuaded or pressured in any way. He provided me with a clear picture of my options (bankruptcy options), and a kind understanding of my situation. I was in no situation to be able to pay for a bankruptcy in full at that time, so I placed a small retainer, and continued to make payments as I could, once I had made all the payments we would proceed. Little did I know, this was the beginning of a professional relationship that would continue in the future. Jan 2015, I had a surgery that came with multiple complications, as well as, an inability to proceed as I had originally anticipated. Edward continued to remain patient, kind, understanding, and never pressuring. He was still willing to work with me, within my abilities. Fast forward.... To March 22nd, 2018. My family member had passed away, leaving myself, as well as, other family members listed as heirs to his estate. Shortly (within 8 days) of his passing, I was feeling stressed with excessive pressure to get representation, due to the extremely hostile nature of and developing status of the estate. Immediately, my mind went to Edward and our previous interactions. I was now the young age of 30, with no experience dealing with an Estate, Probate, or Inheritance issues, let alone - certain if representation was necessary. To top this off, I was listed as an heir in the company of estranged family. This was the perfect recipe for turbulent waters ahead. From the moment I reached out to Edward, he provided the most exceptional representation I could have asked for! I'm not positive exactly how may estate cases he had completed prior to mine, but I know this one was a doozie. The hostility from all 3 parties, communications between lawyers, cautious disclosure of information as not to disclose anything that could be used adversely against me, the list goes on.... Edward advocated for me conservatively and cautiously, he wasn't at all after the financial gain an estate of this nature could promise, he was beyond tactful when addressing issues of a sensitive nature (while still protecting my best interest), and communicated fully with me along the way. Not one issue, item, or situation was addressed or resolved without my knowledge. If Edward didn't have the answer, he wasn't afraid to admit this, but would quickly respond with a thorough detailed knowledge of my options, the circumstances, and different scenarios after he had researched the issue of concern. I cannot explain the level of genuine concern and care he has with his clients. His high level of tact and grace. Compassion and understanding. While maintaining the highest level of professionalism & representation. I have been truly blessed to be guided to Edward Fu in multiple times of stress, frustration, and anxiety. Everything happens for a reason, and I can say I'm very thankful!

From the beginning, the firm was incredibly detailed, professional, and diligent. They worked hard to advocate on his behalf and ultimately helped ensure that the company stepped up and took responsibility as it should have. Throughout the process, they kept us well-informed, explained all possible outcomes, and made sure we understood each step along the way. We truly appreciated their thoroughness, responsiveness, and commitment to achieving the right outcome. The case was handled efficiently and within a reasonable timeframe, which made a stressful situation much more manageable. I would highly recommend this firm to anyone in need of strong, knowledgeable, and compassionate legal representation.
