It was a nightmare that wouldn't end for 5 more years after the divorce because he left me with so much to do and I had no experience doing such work. And not so much money left I had to sell all my properties. I got the short end of the stick as most women who knew no powerful men or people do. I am trying to change that here. He never fought for me therefore I got a very bad deal when my ex, although making so much more money, got more, got a good deal. I thought my lawyer was going to try to get me the best deal. He just showed up at the court in designer suits pompous doing saying not much. My father just passed away before my ex started divorce (even though we made an agreement, shook hands to start the divorce in 3 years when kids are out of house in college), because I didn't want to expose my kids to this) My ex knew I loved my dad dearly and he filed the divorce 3 years earlier when I was in his funeral, so I couldn't do nothing because I was mourning, Lawyer said none of that said nothing, I thought this man was going to fight and get the best deal for me as it was his job, he did nothing. Made me pay 20k, I think 3k in late chargers, he had the nerve to charge me late fees after doing not much at the court, I had to work after the divorce to get all was given and pay more money after this lawyer took most of my money. And it was Covid no one will come help even if you paid. If I knew he wouldn't do anything I would have talked in the court. I would have defended in myself much better. I thought I had to not talk and he would do it all for me. I was so wrong. He was Horrible lawyer I was paralyzed during and after that court. Also I never said she was his mistress ( I can't know that only god knows that) I said I had a feeling she was since he made me pay her $2000 to write two pages about me (I just met the woman a little before I hired him,she was the one who referred me to this man saying he is good, he wasn't, I had no time to find anyone else, so I felt I had no choice but to go with him.) She came to the court with two pages she wrote for me took probably 5 minutes to write dressed overly made up and sexy as if she was going on a date, sitting there. Omg as I said I cant know what the deal was only god knows that) Funny out of all my complaints you would only respond to that. I would write more but they wouldn't let me write more.
