I had purchased the three Groupon massages. The first one was professional, as noted in my above post. I had my second massage with the same masseuse and was sexually assaulted. I requested a refund for all three massages, given the extreme circumstances of feeling completely violated while in such a vulnerable state. I emailed the owner multiple times attempting to resolve amicably and she refused the refund. She said firing the masseuse was enough and offered me the final massage I had paid for. Why would I want to return to her business after this? She was extraordinarily defensive and rude, and her response to me being violated was aggressive, unprofessional, and accusatory. A small portion of her response: "WELL make sure to mention YOUR UPSET BECAUSE YOU PERFERED A REFUND FOR YOU BEING VIOLATED AND YOU DIDNT GET IT!!! THIS IS EXACTLY WHY WOMEN ARE NOT BELIEVED WHEN ABUSED! And I offer to return to show you that that ONE experience is definitely not what LEAFLY THERAPY represents! Adelina at Leafly has been providing massages to my wife and myself for about a year now, usually twice a week. What can I say, she's brilliant. Magic hands, magic touch. Perfect personality for it. She is doing what she is born to do. I'm a runner and I am rehabbing a broken foot on one side and IT Band problems on the other. Adelina has basically fixed all of those issues. My husband and I came to Leafly a few days ago after a friend of ours purchased two Groupons as a gift for the holidays. We had never heard of Leafly before so we were intrigued! I had Adelina as my masseuse and my husband had Artellio. The 75 minutes FLEW BY. Adelina was absolutely fantastic and focused on certain areas of tension as I opted for the deep tissue massage. Leafly is like no other massage therapy and Adelina is like no other massage therapist. I began going to Leafly after an accident, in preparation for some extensive surgery. I thought the CBD oil might be helpful. It definitely made a difference but Adelina's instinct and responsiveness bring a massage there over the top. I found her kind of by accident, but glad I did! She has transferred down to the Houston area (Where I am Located) and was able to schedule me quickly and come to me, which in this traffic...is nice to say the least. She arrived on time (again in this traffic, impressive) and immediately brightened my day with her bubbly personality alone. She seems to be very passionate about this, which is nice to see. It also radiates into her work as you can feel her focus on the key points in your body that haven't been shown some love in more than likely years, if ever. I have multiple herniated disks in my back and neck, along with a repaired left shoulder. I am ALWAYS hesitant about anyone messing with those areas on my body. Adelina was kind enough to not only acknowledge my request and sensitivity but also personalize it to where I was able to find relief as well in those areas. I have had 2 massages at Leafly (on Pulaski) so far both with the in-house made CBD cream (Adelina makes it herself it's wonderful)! Both visits so far were absolutely perfect, I'm asked when I get there which muscles we are working on in that session. Then we talk about what is hurting the most and take it from there. I love that we tailor the session to what my body needs. I also enjoy that during the massage we are stretching all the muscles groups as we go it really keeps me loosened for the rest of the week not to mention the CBD cream that's being used is bringing down pain, inflammation and smelling fantastic! This place is worth going to check out they make their own CBD products; creams, chapsticks, foot scrubs, and more. They give quality massages for a fair price.
