When I called to make a reservation for Happy Hour, Jacob let me know that the Happy Hour section was first come, first served. However, he was kind enough to make an exception and reserve a table for us. That meant so much! Even more special, Jacob came over to our table to introduce himself and make sure we were enjoying everything. What an amazing personal touch! And our waitress, Juliana, was absolutely fantastic! She KNOWS what's good! Her recommendations were spot-on. We ordered the cauliflower, patatas, and birria quesadilla, and everything was delicious. And the Spring Fling Spritz drinks were AMAZING! One of my sisters is vegan, and the vegan Mezze Platter was unbelievably delicious. She loved it! A huge thank you to Jacob, Juliana, and the entire Gravity Heights team for making our visit such a wonderful experience. Great food, amazing drinks, excellent service, and such thoughtful hospitality. We will definitely be back!

We were in the area looking for a brunch spot and striking out, and everyone was getting to the "we…read moreneed food NOW" stage, so we ended up at Common Stock. When we sat down, we were a little surprised that the brunch menu was pretty limited compared to the photos that originally caught our attention. I'm guessing those were from the dinner menu. Our server was actually so great about it--he told us to take our time looking it over and that if we weren't excited about anything, we were welcome to leave and he wouldn't take it personally. That honestly won us over. Even our kids were impressed by how straightforward and nice he was and decided we should stay. And I'm glad we did. The Crispy Brussels were delicious--seriously, one of the highlights. My daughter loved the Strawberry Shortcake French Toast. My son liked the Japanese Potato Hash, although he wished there was another way to add more protein besides bacon. I had the Hot Chicken + Waffle and really enjoyed it, and my husband had the Nashville Crispy Chicken Sandwich. The food took a little longer than expected, but the service more than made up for it. Our server was genuinely kind, honest, and attentive, which can make such a difference. We came in mostly because we were hungry and running out of options, but left really happy we gave Common Stock a chance. Great food and, more importantly, really great service.

Let's address the obvious: The food is delicious! I had the crab cake Benedict. It did not disappoint. I'll give it an honest 8/10. And the bacon Bloody Mary hit the spot too! What really impressed me was the service. I work full time as a server. I work long hours every weekend. Walking into a brunch spot on a Monday morning is always risky... but today I can say that I was truly happy with my experience. My server ALEJANDRO was friendly, gave excellent recommendations about the menu, and made a mean Bloody Mary. I will 1000% be back soon Thanks Alejandro and thanks farmers bottega!

My whole family were talking about the food for days after and how much they loved the experience. Shout out to Alejandro for being amazing.

Back for seconds…read more Well I forgot to review them my first time around but I do remember enjoying the food and service on that visit a couple of months before this review. And unfortunately the second time coming here just dropped its score drastically. For this second trip, I got the fried chicken plate. Totally wish I didn't. Let's start positive. I loved the frozen veggies. No really, butter and garlic makes everything tasty. Add a little salt and I feel I could eat the veggies anytime. Let's start next with the negative. Those chicken strips are terrible. You can tell the meats have been frozen for sometime. The homemade batter doesn't stick to the tough meat. I can usually use a fork to cut through the meat but not this time. You would think you could see some juices when you cut into it. Well you can see the meat clearly.......DRY. I swear, this is like the chicken strips you get frozen in the Banquet dinner boxes. Ok that's an unfair comparison, the chicken in the dinner box has more taste. Mash potatoes you can also tell comes from a box but that goes great with the watered down gravy. I'm lucky asked for more gravy. It's got used up with the chicken. And I don't want to talk about the bread covered with butter oil substitute. Enough said. Overall two stars. The place is clean and staff friendly. The first meal I got here, chicken sandwich with tots and Mac I remember enjoying. The this second meal, I'm going to remember but not for a good reason. M

On my 2nd visit, I wanted to try the flatbread/pizza. I had been waiting quite a while when I saw one coming toward my table, only for it to be served to the table behind me, even though they had arrived after I did. The server forgot that I ordered it. And then told them to wait on my main course even though I was famished and wanted the food to come out while not caring about the order. The food itself is quite good. It is definitely on the salty side, but I actually enjoy that, so it works for me. The chef/owner is very friendly and welcoming with guests. However, I was uncomfortable with the way I saw him speak to some of the staff, which came across as demeaning and disrespectful and outright insolent. I enjoy the live music and some of the food, but after two disappointing experiences with the service, I'm not sure I would return. Two strikes may be enough for me.
