I had such a great experience with Leaf & Blossom! I wanted to get a custom bouquet of flowers to surprise my wife for our fourth wedding anniversary (the flower anniversary, of course). The problem was that our wedding colors were blue, yellow, and red. That combo seemed like a good idea at the time, but it's a challenging color combination for a flower arrangement. Ajeeta worked with me individually, and made specially dyed (and beautiful!) blue flowers to go with the yellow and red flowers that actually appear in nature. Ajeeta and Leaf & Blossom even went the extra mile when we got stuck out of state on our anniversary because of a hurricane. She worked with me to push the delivery back almost an entire week and I was still able to maintain the surprise for my wife and get the freshest and most beautiful flowers during our (belated) celebration. My wife was floored and still talks about them to this day. They also gave me a guide on how to keep the flowers alive for as long as possible that even me, a complete dum-dum on all things flower related, could understand. Those flowers lasted at least a full month after delivery until they started to wilt (and we kept them for a few weeks after that to be honest and they still looked great), which is longer than any other flowers I've had have ever lasted. In short, Ajeeta and the Leaf & Blossom team are personable and professional and artists at heart. I'd highly recommend them, even if you lack a green thumb like me or, also like me, you have a weird request you're not sure is even possible with flowers. It pains me to leave a small business a bad review but this was very merited. Today I received the saddest orchids I have ever seen, luckily from my husband. Don't let the video sway to to think they are big by the way, the camera is too close so it's a fishbowl effect but you can see how horrible these are. These are simply put "dinky", sad and one of the two are already dying, this could not have slipped passed them. Even the worst super markets have better orchids than this. It's offensive since I logged into the site and saw what they are charging for the orchids. What a slap in the face. I feel like I got a left over expiring flower they were pawning off on me. This weightless arrangement was falling each orchid to a different side. Just 2 8oz cups terribly stuffed in there as if done in an Sergio hurry. It's Valentine's Day so I'm sure that's the case but how I professional. Thank goodness my husband sent this to me and not one of our clients.... it makes him look bad and cheap and I know him better than to be cheap. Ohhh you can no longer attach videos to reviews! I needed to send condolence flowers to a dear friend. Ajeeta with Leaf and Blossom was so helpful and caring. She made the entire process so easy. I had a few specific things I needed to be included and Ajeeta hit it out of the park. She hand painted the mermaid tails and even made the appliqué on the planter so my friend would have something to keep after the flowers are gone. She also hand wrote the card for me. It was not some regular floral card on a stick, it was actually a card, in an envelope. I cannot say enough good about Ajeeta and Leaf and Blossom. I would completely avoid this place. I placed my order through "FromYouFlowers.com", they agreed to give me 40 percent back because of what I got. I understand that availability of flowers will vary and some changes have to be made to the arrangement, but the difference was simply too big. Not as many flowers as the original arrangement. In the photos the color is more saturated, but those pink roses look more cream color than pink and you could tell they were not fresh. Petals were brown on the edges, some of the petals were broken, the back of it wasn't even arranged. It has more green than flowers. The arrangement that was ordered had as well many smaller that are completely missing from the one delivered. I talked with them on the phone and they said that the vase was different and that's why it looks different [No, that wasn't why], they said as well that the value of the one I got exceded the one I ordered... Honestly I don't care, and I rather get an arrangement with the same amount of flowers and similar design even if the flowers are different. read more

They never delivered my order and no one answer the phone or email through out the entire day. Recently a friend died and I contacted L&B asking if they could do a few custom funeral wreaths for a fellow Paramedic. Despite the limited amount of time given and multiple other issues they faced, we got amazing results at a price better than expected with premium flowers. They had problems with the easels not being able to hold the full weight of each arrangement, but were able to reinforced them so the arrangements held up well during the funeral. This petite florist downtown provides beautiful flowers to Orlando and its surrounding cities. They are a family owned and operated business that believes in going the extra mile through their arrangements as well as their delivery area which stretches all the way to Lake Buena Vista. They do charge $7.95 for any deliveries but when you consider the convenience and gas prices it makes sense and doesn't seem to painful. From experience, their work is creative and comes out beautifully. They have a unique way of creating pieces that could be normal and common and making them memorable. Prices are standard too. For 12 roses with a gorgeous vase it's about $50. Guys, I would say that's a small price to pay for your sweetie since I know it will make her day. They do international orders as well but can only take those over the phone and not over the internet like some of their other services. And for all of you brides, they do floral consultations for your upcoming nuptials. You need to make an appointment first but they are happy to assist you in planning your big day. read more

Very disappointed in flowers purchased and delivered.. My husband ordered an arrangement of tulips to be delivered to me. The flowers had black tips and were already dying and dropping when delivered to me. What an embarrassing moment having dying flowers delivered to me at work. When He called to complain the Florist said tulips weren't is season. Why then have the tulips on site available to order? And why not tell customers to not order them? When calling to complain and send photos florist says flowers should look like that. They are Just changing colors and blooming. Don't think so. Pictures don't do the dying flowers justice. Requested a refund. Instead florist replaced flowers with a bouquet of $10 flowers I could bought at Publix. Disappointed with flowers and the florist. Will not use this florist again. Why order from some 800 number that takes a cut from the local florist? I decided to pull up florists in my area on Yelp and shop local. Mel Johnson's Flower Shoppe did not disappoint! I chose the vase, described some key flowers I like, and was shown a photo of an arrangement similar to what we discussed. I was in and out of the shop in about 10 minutes thanks to their helpful and friendly staff. When my client got the flowers at her office today, she sent me a photo. The arrangement was gorgeous. I live in Indianapolis and have been ordering Thomas Kinkade Christmas arrangement for my sister in Orlando for probably 30 years. You never know who will be filling your order that far away. We have never been so thrilled with her arrangement as much as this 2019 arrangement! It was picture perfect. It captured the true spirit and Love that I wanted my sister to feel. It is very bad when you order a Memorial flower arrangement by phone from New York to be delivered in Orlando and the attendant just sent a completely different one. When I called to complaint, she told me that they had sent the one that I had ordered. I know what I ordered! I requested a email receipt which I never got it. You can not trust them!!!! I ordered a plant to be sent to a hospital patient. They never got it or heard about it. Unfortunately I wasn't able to speak with the recipient until they checked out. I then called Kity, who looked into it and told me the hospital staff signed for it and put it in a common area because the patient wasn't allowed flowers or plants in their room. That was news to me! News I could have used a few days earlier so I could have followed up myself to make sure the patient received the plant. My understanding was that after I made the order and paid, my responsibilities were done and the plant would make it to the patient. But I was wrong! I had another responsibility, of managing the hospital staff's handling of the plant, a responsibility of which I was unaware until it was too late. I acknowledge that it is too much to ask a florist to follow up with hospital staff to make sure they get a flower/plant to a patient. Maybe the hospital staff handled their uncompensated part of this transaction improperly. But they aren't paying me back, so laying any blame on them isn't helpful. A 30 second phone call from Mel's to me, the purchaser, to let me know of my additional tracking responsibilities (which I would have accepted without complaint) could have prevented this transaction-gone-wrong. What was the resolution offered? To split the $20 delivery charge with me to go get the plant from the hospital and deliver to the patient's house. So they want me to pay $10 more for fouling up this responsibility I didn't know I had, on top of still paying full price for the plant. If you order for delivery to a hospital, be warned that you have to follow up yourself until you are sure the recipient actually received the item. read more

I sent flowers online all the way from the DC metro area. I've had such bad luck sending flowers that I was prepared for some kind of mistake to be made. Then I received a call from my Father in Law saying how nice the flowers were (they were sent for a family friend's funeral). He texted a picture of the flowers and they looked exactly like the picture online. The only thing I would change is maybe an email to let the customer know flowers were delivered.
