Really like sitting in the outside area with my dog. When it's hot they have fans and when it's cold they have fire pits.

Really chill place to stop and grab a beer (or wine or cocktails). Nice selection of local beers, but they also have a few from out of state (which I appreciate, since it's always fun trying beers from other areas). Parking is easy if it's not too busy, but can become tricky once the crowd picks up. Worth a stop for sure! read more

I would consider this to be my go to spot to go grab a drink or grab some beverages to take home. The staff here are always very welcoming and helpful. They also have a great selection of beers and their Prosecco they serve has now become my favorite. They also are constantly getting new products in. During the week, in the afternoon, it is often slow so it is nice just to go in and relax but on the weekends it can get lively. They also have cigars but I do not partake in those so do not know much about them. read more

This was my second time at Leaf and Barrel. My first time was at their old location and today I went to their new location where they were having some local artisans selling their crafts for the holidays, they also had a musician who was quite wonderful to listen to. I really like the new location better as it just has a more homey, neighborhood feel to it. I am looking forward to spending time here during the warmer months as they have a great front porch and seating out back. read more

This is my second time visiting Leaf and Barrel and both times were great. The first time was prior to quarantine so it was lively, but not loud, and all of the cutest dogs! Great options on draft and several more in cans. Leaf and Barrel have all of your wine and beer needs. The second time I went was during quarantine, where I was able to buy a few local brews curbside. Again great service and super friendly staff who recommended several amazing brews. The watermelon lager is a great light summer beer with a small hint of watermelon. It's a must try! read more

Chill place to grab a good beer. They have a large beer selection, on tap and for carry out. If cigars are your thing purchase one from their walk in humidor and enjoy it outside. Friendly staff, fun live music, good beer... what could be better? They don't sell food here but feel free to bring your own. read more

I had wanted to visit L&B forever since it was so close to my office. I went ahead and stopped by after work one day and was greeted by one of the owners. I love a good beer on tap and they had plenty. I was able to sample a couple of beers and finally settled on a couple of pints. The selection of beer and wines is amazing and they've got stuff that I haven't even had before which makes this beer girl happy to try new things. My boss and I have had a couple of meetings there since, because who doesn't love a pint over boring business discussions. We visit Leaf and Barrel often and love the ever changing selection of drafts on tap. We especially appreciate the BARtenders who are knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the beers they serve. We really love that they treat everyone who walks through the door like family. Speaking of family, Leaf and Barrel is a family friendly BAR, who welcome well behaved children. We were recently (Saturday 6/3/23) enjoying a beer at the BAR and a Trash Plate from Port City Plates (Delicious BTW). While the BARtenders were great and the food was fantastic, the outrageous behavior of a few children who's parents thought it was ok to allow them to yell, scream, jump on couches, bang on EVERYTHING, scratch records on the record player (yes I said record player which is another reason to come out and enjoy some classic vinyl) and ultimately make everyone's Saturday afternoon much less enjoyable. Thankfully the Bartender politely asked the adults to please have the children keep their voices down. Well... that should have been a clue that your children are disrupting the BAR. However, instead of taking the hint, the "adults" were offended that they were requested to have their child act like civilized human beings. They promptly paid their less than impressive tab and left...but not before leaving a 1 star review on Yelp! I'm not the one who usually leaves reviews. Some places are fantastic and for that, I go back and spend my hard earned dollars. Other places are just not worth my dollar or my time to leave a review...and therefore I speak with my dollars go elsewhere. However, when I hear that someone has left a poor review because they were asked to have their children act appropriately at the BAR... I felt the need to post my first Yelp review. Leaf and Barrel, as I stated previously, welcomes everyone to come out and enjoy a great selection of local beers or some classic cocktails, some live music or nostalgic vinyl, and some of the areas best food trucks. it's worth a trip whether your a local to Hampstead or just visiting the area. If you have kids, BRING EM, just ask them to bring their best BAR behavior! read more

Love going to this place. Great selection of beers and wine got the Napa Napa Pinot noir and loved it. The music is good and they have an old school pin ball machine. Fun! Have been wanting to try lobster truck FOR THE SHELL OF IT. They are in the parking lot every Tuesday at 5. Got the New Engels lobster roll and the lobster bisque. Was a 10!
