I was in the Leland/Wilmington area visiting a family member and I had some time by myself while some others went shopping. I found this place on line and decided to check it out. Honestly, from the outside it does not look l ike much. It is a block type building with minimal exterior decorations. They do have a parking lot for visitors Once you go inside, the place really opens up and is a large smoking lounge. The humidor is right when you walk in. Then after that you enter another large rooms with tvs scattered around with couches and chairs around each tv area. This is really nice so everyone does not have to sit in one seating area.. So if you want to try to talk... join a group- if you want to smoke and read or watch tv... go to another area. There is also a back room that had a tv and some couches. They have a full bar as well. I did not have much interaction with the staff so no feedback to give on them, but if i am in the area again. I will definitely stop in! read more

This place just moved and I LOVE it. They are in the old Crazy Horse location. I'm not even sure what that place was. Rococo's Cigar Bar is attached and it's great. New leather chairs, TV's, pool table and a full bar. Very nice place. read more

In town for the Tat and Gun show and made the detour to Brookelynn. Best move of the trip! Great selection of sticks, nice friendly staff and that's all prior to entering the lounge in the back. A nice big spacious area with leather couches and chairs, tables if one desires. Everyone there looked up and offered a greeting and this was all prior to getting to the full service bar. So I'm biased beyond come from wretched up north and now I can lite up in a lounge but this place is sweet. The ladies behind the bar, a regular and a trainee who did great, where on it, friendly, constantly cleaning the entire lounge, and simply provided a great atmosphere to enjoy a stick, a nice drink and watch a little sports if one so desires. If your in town check it out and plan to hang a while, I'll certainly be back! read more

Visited this spot with my family on a random day mid virus scare. Due to the North Carolina restrictions the bar was not allowed to be open but instead we were showed through the humidor. The owner had an in depth knowledge of cigars and was able to recommend a few. He also cut and prepared each of them while checking out. Can't wait to come back when the state decides he can open up his bar. read more

Not very friendly or welcoming at all. Stopped in Friday evening 10/26/19 to get a cigar to enjoy after a nice steak dinner. Walked in and was not greeted in any way. After I had made my selection and took it to the register and the guy just rang it up and handed it back to me without asking me if I needed it cut or punched. As a matter of fact he did even speak to me at all. I asked him to punch it and he again just handed it back to me, I guess assuming I was going to smoke it there since he did not ask me. I had to ask for a bag to take it with me to enjoy back at the campground with a nice Rye. There was no Thank-You after the transaction for buying a $10 cigar. SMFH! How do you conduct an entire transaction with a customer and not say one word to them?!?! Prices are on the high side as well. I guess if your a regular here and spend a lot of money on cigars and at the bar, you get way better customer service than I received, which was none! The next time I'm in Wilmington and want a good cigar, I will go back to the Cigar Exchange in downtown Wilmington. Found this place in May and have been coming back at least four times a week. Steve is a knowledgeable and can help you find any type of cigar your looking for. Over three thousand cigars to choose from along with pipes and tobacco, hookah and sheesha, and a great lounge to watch sports on three flat screens. The regulars that come in are a great group of guys. I recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to hang out and smoke a cigar and to catch a game. Also, if your looking to buy gifts for someone he has gift cards and they can choose something to purchase. Steve regularly has discounts on cigars and boxes all the time. Cigar brands and reps will come out once a month and Steve will host them at the shop and they always throw extra cigars whenever you purchase from them. A good selection, good staff, and a good smoking lounge combine for a really good experience. They offer a good variety of the standard cigars and a few off label brands as well; there is a variety of shapes and sizes of most popular. A good variety of cutters and lighters are available, and there are several choices of humidors. Steve, who owns the place, is almost always available with a smile and happy to help, and he has a couple of people who work for him are also knowledgable and friendly. He has a smoking lounge with 3 big flat screen TVS and a bunch of couches and chairs, end tables and a coffee table for spreading out the newspaper. Only issue is the cold, has a little trouble with the heating and ventilation with a bigger group, but with just a couple people you'll be fine. We does have WiFi available.
