I've worked this Stuart, Patrick and Adam for 5 years. Always professional, helpful and patience. They rented my SF condo during the pandemic and recently Adam helped me sell my house. Stuart talked me off the cliff more times then I can count and Adam was always there to answer my Many questions. This is a company y that is professional and cares about their clients. Many thanks to Adam, Stuart and Patrick!!!! read more

In the market for property managers for my condo. I was trying to get quotes from a few and right off the bat I was told that they are expensive which was okay as I was just trying to get quotes at first. When I asked if he could have paperwork sent over so I can have my lawyers look into it, I was told that I'm not ready yet and that he would not send over the paperwork. All-in, I spent 20 minutes talking to Patrick and god he was not interested in the business I was bringing. I asked specifically about experience with my neighborhood and I was told that they have units all over the city. At the end of the day, this is my first experience with a Property Management company that was so rude to someone interested in doing business with them that I would not go with them. I'm new to all of this but the other companies I have spoken to so far (also with good ratings overall) have been nicer to me an interested in doing business with me. read more

I worked with Adam and Stuart over the last year and have nothing but good things to say. They were always attentive, fair, responsive, and reasonable with all requests. The property was well kept and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay in their unit over the last year! read more

Chris was able to help me get what I needed fast. Knowledgable and kind, I recommend him if you need help finding a place.

Unfortunately this owner has completely mischaracterized our conversation and is trying to salvage his reputation. I would never recommend such a rude business owner. This individual hung up on me without ever listening to me or seeing my place, Do not recommend! read more

Leading properties has been an amazing property manager. Stuart has been extremely helpful in every way. Whenever there is a maintenance request, he sets up appointments quickly and sends somebody to help. I also appreciate how responsive the office is with picking up phone calls and answering emails. I feel taken care of, and as a renter in San Francisco, I couldn't ask for more. If you are looking for a property manager, I highly recommend their service. read more

DO NOT LEASE PROPERTIES FROM THEM for your own peace of mind !! We returned the place we leased sparkling clean, and they charged us $450 for carpet cleaning even though we TOLD THEM to notice us prior to deducting any money from our safety deposit. AND, $450 for carpet cleaning a small studio?!!! We did not have pets and I used to vacuum clean the carpets at least once per week!!! There were no stains on the carpet whatsoever and we returned the place cleaner than what we received back in 2019. What is worse than charging us is that no one in the company is answering our call/emails. Charging clients without a justifiable reason is a action of fraud and they will get in trouble for this!! read more

The worst property management I've worked with in 10 years living in San Francisco. I am not sure where to begin with Stuart and Patrick. These are unprofessional, unethical, sexist, and frankly rude people. When we moved in, many things were broken and it was near impossible to get ahold of someone to fix them. Moving out was equally as painful. They blatantly disregarded the SF Tenant Union by not doing a final walk through with us, not giving us a chance to to fix minor damage, and charging $180 for leaving a bag of ice in the freezer. Please be ware - do not rent a place under their management, or hire them to manage your home. read more

Major communication issues, basic repairs taking 7+ months, charges miscommunicated or omitted when requested, contempt when working with HOA, attitude and obfuscation when working through basic leasing processes, ethical issues. I would strong caution any unit owner against this firm. read more

I hired Leading Properties as my property manager. I have only worked with them for a couple of months but already am a huge fan. Stuart and Patrick were great in helping me figure out how to get my apartment tenant ready for a low cost. They took everything off my plate. Were always super professional and dealt with my many questions (I'm a first time landlord). Couldn't be happier. Thank you Leading Properties! read more

I had a great experience moving in to a Leading Properties managed unit. Everyone I interacted with throughout the process was friendly, accessible, and responsive, and they were kind enough to get me keys in advance of my move-in date. Highly recommended! read more

I had a first-rate experience leasing through Leading Properties. Stuart does an excellent job - he's accessible and responsive every time. Professional and friendly service, clear and straightforward communication - any questions or repairs were handled right away. I just moved and the close-out process couldn't have been easier. Adam Hume handled the front end of my lease with good humor and great service - 5 star service across the board! read more

I've been renting with Stuart and Patrick at Leading Properties for a little over a year now - this has by far been my most enjoyable (and simple) renting experience. It was necessary to write this update because we have received nothing but amazing service and professionalism through our time thus far. I know they are extremely busy on a daily basis and so are each of us with our lives. But for them to make you feel like you are the only client is a completely different experience. I am a young adult living and working in the Bay Area. Any friends & family that move this way will be sent directly to Leading Properties. Thank you as always and I look forward to our continued services together! read more

This guy BLOWS off a call to view a rental he had posted on Craigslist for a homeowner... claiming of course "family emergency".... Then when he finally calls 2 days later and meets me at the unit.. refuses to shake my hand upon meeting claiming he had just coughed (although didnt cough or seem the least bit sick during the rest of the apartment showing.) Once inside the unit.. he proceeded to stand at the window looking at the view and checking his phone.. didnt say ONE word to me...wasn't the least bit concerned about renting the property. I asked a question about the parking and he was condescending about my concern over navigating into the parking space with a larger car. I guess when you drive a BUSTED up 10 year old Range Rover like he does and are clearly unhappy in your ill-fitting Mens Wearhouse suit... you tend to think a bit less about things like that than people me... who work in IT and have a brand new 100k car sitting out in front of the house. I have rarely met someone so dismissive or just plain rude in REAL ESTATE... Not sure if it was a homophobic thing... (the condo was near Castro / Twin Peaks area and I'm a young gay guy).. or a racist thing... (I am a Latin guy)... but Patrick was a completely rude and unprofessional stain. Perhaps he was just intimidated by the fact that someone far younger and more successful than him can actually afford multiple properties to rent. Either way.. I feel bad for the owners of the condo... they will have a tough time renting or god forbid selling this property with a jerk like this. I could have probably been talked into renting this place.. cost wasn't an issue. The broker completely turned me off. I'll stick with looking at the overpriced SOMA places where at least everything is brand new and the brokers WANT your business. read more

Such a disappointment!!! Adam sounded fine over the phone but in person was agitated, unprofessional and very pushy. Like he had more important things he'd rather be doing. I overhead him talking to, I guess, a colleague, complaining about what sounded like a cleaning crew but he was really dismissive and entitled-sounding. DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY!!! He made excuses for the elevator and for the door opener, instead of just getting them up to par. read more

Five stars to Patrick at Leading Properties. I live 3 hours away from my rental home in San Francisco. When the former tenant gave notice after twelve years, I was able to completely refurbish the house inside and outside with all new appliances. It was so beautiful that I wanted the next tenants to be of the highest standards and integrity without having to handle any day to day requests of theirs. I interviewed several property management companies and found Patrick at the top of the list. Our rental homes are one of our major investments especially if you are retired like myself. It was of the utmost importance that if the tenants needed anything it would be handled immediately and professionally in order to maintain the value of the property. Leading Properties is my dream team for managing my property. I'm certain that you will not be disappointed either as a property owner or a tenant when using the services offered by Patrick at Leading Properties. read more

In terms of property management - Patrick is responsive, professional and reliable. He takes care of everything. Absolutely worth it. In terms of finding tenants all I can say is every tenant Patrick has found for us has been great. Again - worth it. read more

Leading Properties - I love the professionalism of Leading Properties SF. Patrick is great keeping us in the loop!. - Property Management Near Me - San Francisco, California

I have used Leading Properties for one of my properties located in the Outer Richmond and Patrick was able to rent it within 2 weeks of obtaining the listing. These tenants are still currently there and over the last five years, Stewart has overseen this property with best results for both tenants and owner. I now have another property in the Lone Mountain neighborhood that I have given Patrick to manage and within one week, Adam was able to rent it at a very good rent. This far exceeds any expectations that I had for renting this property during the pandemic as it has been vacant for quite some time. This has been a great job done by all the members of Leading Properties. Thanks for everything. read more

I have been living in a Pac Heights condo managed by Leading Properties since relocating to SF 2 years ago. I cannot say enough good things about the professionalism and helpfulness of Patrick Boushell. He has been very fast to help with the few problems we've had in our home, works well to negotiate between us and the owners, and communicates in a very timely manner. I highly recommend Patrick for property management. read more

Patrick is great! There really isn't anything else that needs to be said....seriously. He's an awesome person who you can trust, and believe in what he says. In the short time that I've known him, he's always treated me w/ respect and kindness. I currently rent a property that just recently stopped using his services in order to save $, and I'm seriously thinking about leaving when my agreement is up because I won't get to deal w/ Patrick anymore. Again, this man is someone you can TRUST. read more

Patrick has been great for me. He was very flexible in showing me my unit prior to renting, he was fast in processing the application and not making me wait countless days, he responded fast to getting items fixed in my unit when needed and set a clear and reasonable expectation when I signed the lease agreements. Overall a good experience and I would highly recommend him. read more

As a college student hard-pressed for both time and money, working with Patrick was a perfect pairing. He was concise and expedient when working with my roommates and I to rent another home; that is not to say, thought, that he wasn't considerate and professional--rather, he managed to exemplify all of the above qualities. He worked with us even though one of our roommates was absent, and did his best to adapt to our needs as such. With his help we were able to sign a lease and acquire keys to a new and beautiful property in a matter of days. His thoughtfulness and levelheaded work were unexpected but greatly appreciated. 8/8 would rate. read more

When we decided to look for another in apartment here in San Francisco, I was absolutely dreading going through the process! Patrick made the process quick and easy, which with a toddler tagging along was so helpful! We attended the open house on Tuesday, he called us Wednesday to let us know the apartment was ours, we signed the contract Thursday, and got the keys on Friday. Stress-free and exciting! Thank you Patrick for all of your help. A bonus, his assistant Normita, is also friendly and helpful. She provided my toddler with a pen and paper while we signed the contract and was willing to discuss my concerns on the phone! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend them to anyone! read more

Patrick and Leading Properties are the best! Always responsive and really cares about his clients. I would highly recommend!

My fiance and I were very pleased working with Leading Properties over the last year. From the beginning, Leading Properties and Stuart in particular, have been a pleasure. They are accommodating and very responsive to every request or question we had. Especially through many frustrating washing machine issues, Stuart was always helpful in finding solutions and coordinating repairmen to come by quickly. Needless to say we were bummed when we received notice that the owner of our unit wanted to sell, because we could have stayed there a while! It's easy in this housing market to be weary of landlords or property managers, but our experience with Leading Properties and Stuart showed there are still some people out there with integrity. read more

Patrick at Leading Properties has been super helpful in getting us set up in our new place. As Canadians, renting in SF has been tricky, but Patrick worked with us to get into our dream apartment! He's even letting us move in a few days early, which is way above and beyond what we expected. Patrick has a calm demeanor and excellent communication skills. He made sure that everything was just right in our new place for us to move in, and answered all of our questions. We are incredibly grateful to have found him, and our new apartment! read more

Never did I think looking for an apartment, in San Francisco of all places, would be this easy! We attended the open house for our new place last Saturday and are moving in this weekend. Needless to say Leading Property didn't waste any time. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Patrick, who helped us with everything from showing us the property to writing up our lease, truly went above and beyond! Any questions or concerns we had he was there to answer and address all of them. I felt like more than just a sale, Patrick was very invested and helped us throughout the whole process, which I appreciated. The process was fast and efficient, the customer service was outstanding, and if you're looking to find your next home..Leading Properties is where you'll find it! read more

I would certainly recommend Danny Norway to friends/family looking to relocate in San Francisco! read more

Extremely satisfied with the tenants they found. I live on the property & everything is seamless, highly recommend this company.

Unprofessional, lack of communication skills, and selective ethics. Did not consult homeowner when signing the lease without collecting the full deposit. Also did not consult homeowner when creating a two plus week delay in collecting rent by signing the lease with the move in date and first rent payment starting two plus weeks later. When competing for listing, indicated it would likely take two weeks to find tenants. If include the two week delay, homeowner did not receive rent for over eight weeks. When questioned about these and other decisions and the concerns it raised, the response was escalated including yelling and hanging up on the homeowner. Encouraged homeowner to write Yelp review and homeowner was concerned about opening up further communications and retribution. Ultimately decided better for people to not have the same experience. read more

Patrick is fantastic. The move-in process was smooth and easy. Highly recommend Leading Properties.

Patrick is THE BEST and has treated me and my two roommates with the utmost kindness, respect, and flexibility. We have run into a bunch of extremely rude and unreliable property managers, especially because we are in our early 20s. Patrick showed us a property that we loved on Saturday morning and we were in his office Monday night signing the lease. He fulfilled all of our cleaning requests and gave us the keys to our rental property before the start of the lease term to help us in our move transition. I HIGHLY recommend using him and his company for any of your managing/renting needs. read more

I would definitely recommend leading properties. Everything was smooth from start to finish and done very professionally.

Patrick was very helpful and prompt. He was honest about the property and even encouraged us to look at other options if we didn't think this was our exact fit, I thought this a rare quality for a real estate broker who actually seemed to care that his tenants be happy with their decision. Because of my busy schedule I was unable to meet with him for a few days, he went out of his way to deliver me keys and paperwork which again was above and beyond what anyone might expect. I'm happy in the space I rented and if I ever move will work with Patrick again before I call anyone else in the Bay Area.... read more
