My husband and I started his two boys at LMA in the fall of 2017, and they immediately loved attending classes. Of course we love that they are active and learning karate, but that isn't why I recommend this school. I'm sure there are plenty of places where kids can learn karate, but what sets LMA apart is the time Sensei Rick puts into everything. We love that he incorporates lessons each week such as humility, responsibility, attitude into his classes. It gives us so much pleasure to discuss his teachings with the kids and let them identify where they incorporated the lessons into their every day lives or when there was an opportunity for improvement. Not only does he inspire the kids, but he inspires us as well. It's also obvious that Sensei Rick takes pride in identifying ways to teach the kids beyond the obvious - he always incorporates fun games with a purpose into his classes and hosts fun events such as day caps for them to attend. The boys really look up to him, and we couldn't be happier; this was one of the best decisions we ever made for the kids. read more

Started at Leadership Martial arts almost a year ago and the results have shown! I have lost 30lbs already and feel healthier than ever. I take the kickfit kickboxing classes and they are so fun and challenging but the atmosphere is so friendly and supportive that you have to keep pushing yourself for the better. Their new location is beautiful and so much larger than the previous which allows for each class to have more space for participants. It's such a pleasure being part of the LMA family! read more
